Ezekiel 10
1 And I look, and behold, on the expanse that [is] above the head of the cherubim, as a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne, He has been seen over them.
Und ich sah, und siehe, auf der Ausbreitung über dem Haupte der Cherube war es wie der Stein Saphir, wie das Aussehen der Ähnlichkeit von einem Thron, über ihnen zu sehen.
2 And He speaks to the man clothed with linen and says, “Go into the midst of the wheel, to the place of the cherub, and fill your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim, and scatter over the city.” And he goes in before my eyes.
Und Er sprach zu dem Manne, der mit Lein war angetan, und Er sprach: Gehe hinein zwischen das Räderwerk unter den Cherub, und fülle deine Hände mit Feuerkohlen, zwischen den Cheruben heraus und sprenge sie über die Stadt. Und er ging hinein vor meinen Augen.
3 And the cherubim are standing on the right side of the house, at the going in of the man, and the cloud has filled the inner court,
Und die Cherube standen rechts vom Hause, da der Mann hineinging, und die Wolke füllte den inneren Vorhof.
4 and the glory of YHWH becomes high above the cherub, over the threshold of the house, and the house is filled with the cloud, and the court has been filled with the brightness of the glory of YHWH.
Und es hob sich die Herrlichkeit Jehovahs empor über dem Cherub über des Hauses Schwelle, und von der Wolke ward das Haus erfüllt, und der Vorhof ward erfüllt vom Glanz der Herrlichkeit Jehovahs.
5 And a noise of the wings of the cherubim has been heard in the outer court, as the voice of God—the Mighty One—in His speaking.
Und die Stimme der Flügel der Cherube ward gehört bis zu dem äußeren Vorhof, wie die Stimme des Gottes Schaddai, wenn Er redet.
6 And it comes to pass, in His commanding the man clothed with linen, saying, “Take fire from between the wheel, from between the cherubim,” and he goes in and stands near the wheel,
Und es geschah, als Er dem Manne mit Lein angetan geboten und gesagt hatte: Nimm Feuer zwischen dem Räderwerk heraus, zwischen den Cheruben, und der hineinging und neben dem Rad stand;
7 that the [one] cherub puts forth his hand from between the cherubim to the fire that [is] between the cherubim, and lifts up, and gives [it] into the hands of him who is clothed with linen, and he receives, and comes forth.
Da reckte der Cherub seine Hand aus zwischen den Cheruben her zum Feuer, das zwischen den Cheruben war, und hob auf und gab es dem, der mit Lein angetan war, in die Hände; und er nahm es und ging hinaus.
8 And there appears in the cherubim the form of a hand of man under their wings,
Und man sah an den Cheruben unter ihren Flügeln das Gebilde der Hand eines Menschen.
9 and I look, and behold, four wheels near the cherubim, one wheel near one cherub, and another wheel near the other cherub, and the appearance of the wheels [is] as the color of a beryl stone.
Und ich sah, und siehe, vier Räder neben den Cheruben, ein Rad neben dem einen Cherub und ein Rad neben dem anderen Cherub, und das Aussehen der Räder war wie der Anblick des Steins von Tharschisch.
10 And [as for] their appearances, [the] four had one likeness, as it were the wheel in the midst of the wheel.
Und ihr Aussehen hatte eine Ähnlichkeit für die vier, als ob ein Rad wäre inmitten eines Rades.
11 In their going, they go on their four sides; they do not turn around in their going, for to the place to where the head turns, they go after it, they do not turn around in their going.
Bei ihrem Gehen gingen sie ihren vier Richtungen zu; sie wandten sich nicht um bei ihrem Gehen, denn nach dem Ort, dahin das Haupt sich wandte, danach gingen sie; sie wandten sich nicht um bei ihrem Gehen.
12 And all their flesh, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, are full of eyes all around—[the] wheels [the] four had.
Und all ihr Fleisch und ihr Rücken und ihre Hände und ihre Flügel und die Räder waren voller Augen ringsum, für ihre vier Räder.
13 As for the wheels—they were called “Whirling Wheel” in my ears.
Die Räder - sie wurden Räderwerk genannt vor meinen Ohren.
14 And four faces [are] to each; the face of the first [is] the face of the cherub, and the face of the second [is] the face of man, and of the third the face of a lion, and of the fourth the face of an eagle.
Und vier Angesichte hatte einer: Das eine Angesicht das Angesicht des Cherubs und das zweite Angesicht war eines Menschen Angesicht und das dritte eines Löwen Angesicht und das vierte eines Adlers Angesicht.
15 And the cherubim are lifted up, it [is] the living creature that I saw by the river Chebar.
Und es hoben sich empor die Cherube; das war das Tier, das ich am Flusse Chebar sah.
16 And in the going of the cherubim, the wheels go beside them; and in the cherubim lifting up their wings to be high above the earth, the wheels do not turn around, even they, from being beside them.
Und wenn die Cherube gingen, gingen die Räder neben ihnen, und wenn die Cherube die Flügel erhoben, sich über die Erde emporzuheben, so wandten auch die Räder sich nicht um von ihrer Seite.
17 In their standing they stand, and in their exaltation they are exalted with them: for [the] spirit of the living creature [is] in them.
Und wenn dieselben standen, standen sie, und wenn sie sich emporhoben, hoben sie mit ihnen sich empor; denn der Geist des Tieres war in ihnen.
18 And the glory of YHWH goes forth from off the threshold of the house, and stands over the cherubim,
Und von des Hauses Schwelle ging die Herrlichkeit Jehovahs aus und stand über den Cheruben.
19 and the cherubim lift up their wings, and are lifted up from the earth before my eyes; in their going forth, the wheels [are] also alongside them, and he stands at the opening of the east gate of the house of YHWH, and the glory of the God of Israel [is] over them from above.
Und die Cherube erhoben ihre Flügel und hoben sich von der Erde empor vor meinen Augen. Da sie hinausgingen, waren die Räder ihnen beigesellt. Und es stand am Eingang des östlichen Tores am Hause Jehovahs, und die Herrlichkeit des Gottes Israels war oben über ihnen.
20 It [is] the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river Chebar, and I know that they are cherubim.
Das ist das Tier, das ich unter dem Gotte Israels am Flusse Chebar sah; und ich wußte, daß es Cherube waren.
21 [The] four—each had four faces, and each had four wings, and the likeness of the hands of man [is] under their wings.
Je vier Gesichter hatte einer und vier Flügel einer, und die Ähnlichkeit der Hände von Menschen unter ihren Flügeln.
22 And the likeness of their faces, they [are] the faces that I saw by the river Chebar, their appearances and themselves; they each go straight forward.
Und die Ähnlichkeit ihrer Angesichter waren die Angesichter, die ich am Flusse Chebar sah, ihr Aussehen und sie selbst. Sie gingen, jeder Mann stracks vor seinem Angesicht.
