Exodus 9
1 And YHWH says to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh, and you have spoken to him, Thus said YHWH, God of the Hebrews: Send My people away, and they serve Me,
तब परमप्रभुले मोशालाई भन्नुभयो, “फारोकहाँ गएर भन्, 'हिब्रूहरूका परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छः मेरो आराधना गर्नलाई मेरो मानिसहरूलाई जान दे ।
2 for if you are refusing to send [them] away, and are still keeping hold on them,
तैँले तिनीहरूलाई जान दिन इन्कार गरिस् र तिनीहरूलाई अझै पनि रोकिस् भने
3 behold, the hand of YHWH is on your livestock which [are] in the field, on horses, on donkeys, on camels, on herd, and on flock—a very grievous pestilence.
परमप्रभुको हात खेतहरू, घोडाहरू, गधाहरू, ऊँटहरू, गाईवस्तुहरू र भेडा-बाख्राहरूमाथि पर्नेछ र यसले डरलाग्दो रोग उत्पन्न गराउनेछ ।
4 And YHWH has separated between the livestock of Israel and the livestock of Egypt, and there does not die a thing of all the sons of Israel;
परमप्रभुले इस्राएलका गाईवस्तु र मिश्रका गाईवस्तु छुट्ट्याउनेहुनेछ र इस्राएलीहरूको कुनै पनि गाईवस्तु मर्नेछैन ।
5 and YHWH sets an appointed time, saying, Tomorrow YHWH does this thing in the land.”
परमप्रभुले समय निधो गरिसक्नुभएको छ । उहाँले भन्नुभएको छ, “भोलि यस देशमा म यो काम गर्नेछु ।”
6 And YHWH does this thing on the next day, and all the livestock of Egypt die, and of the livestock of the sons of Israel not one has died;
परमप्रभुले अर्को दिन त्यही गर्नुभयो । मिश्रका सबै गाईवस्तु मरे, तर इस्राएलीहरूका पशुहरू भने जीवितै रहे, एउटै पनि मरेन ।
7 and Pharaoh sends, and behold, not even one of the livestock of Israel has died, and the heart of Pharaoh is hard, and he has not sent the people away.
फारोले अनुसन्धान गर्दा इस्राएलीहरूका एउटै पनि पशु नमेरोको पाए । तर तिनको ह्रदय हठी भयो, त्यसैले तिनले मानिसहरूलाई जान दिएनन् ।
8 And YHWH says to Moses and to Aaron, “Take for yourselves the fullness of your handfuls—soot of a furnace, and Moses has sprinkled it toward the heavens, before the eyes of Pharaoh,
तब परमप्रभुले मोशा र हारूनलाई भन्नुभयो, “भट्टीबाट मुट्ठीभर खरानी लेओ । तँ मोशाले फारोले हेरिरहँदा त्यस खरानीलाई आकाशमा फ्याँक्नू ।
9 and it has become small dust over all the land of Egypt, and it has become on man and on livestock a boil breaking forth [with] blisters in all the land of Egypt.”
ती मिश्र देशभरि मसिनो धुलो बन्नेछन् । तिनले मिश्र देशका सबै मानिस र पशुहरूमा फोका र खटिरा ल्याउनेछन् ।”
10 And they take the soot of the furnace, and stand before Pharaoh, and Moses sprinkles it toward the heavens, and it is a boil [with] blisters breaking forth on man and on beast;
त्यसैले मोशा र हारूनले भट्टीबाट खरानी लिएर फारोको सामुन्ने खडा भए । त्यसपछि मोशाले खरानीलाई हावामा फ्याँके । खरानीले मानिस र पशुहरूमा फोका र खटिरा ल्याए ।
11 and the enchanters have not been able to stand before Moses because of the boil, for the boil has been on the enchanters, and on all the Egyptians.
फोकाको कारणले जादुगरहरूले मोशाको विरोध गर्न सकेनन् । किनकि फोका सबै मिश्रीमाथि आइपरेको थियो ।
12 And YHWH strengthens the heart of Pharaoh, and he has not listened to them, as YHWH has spoken to Moses.
परमप्रभुले फारोको ह्रदय कठोर पारिदिनुभयो । त्यसैले फारोले मोशा र हारूनको कुरा सुनेनन् । फारोले मोशाको कुरा सुन्नेथिएन भनी परमप्रभुले भन्नुभएझैँ भयो ।
13 And YHWH says to Moses, “Rise early in the morning, and station yourself before Pharaoh, and you have said to him, Thus said YHWH, God of the Hebrews: Send My people away, and they serve Me,
त्यसपछि परमप्रभुले मोशालाई भन्नुभयो, “बिहान सबेरै उठेर फारोको सामुन्ने खडा हो र त्यसलाई भन्, 'हिब्रूहरूका परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः मेरो आराधना गर्न मेरा मानिसहरूलाई जान दे ।
14 for at this time I am sending all My plagues to your heart, and on your servants, and on your people, so that you know that there is none like Me in all the earth,
किनकि यो पटक तँ, तेरा अधिकारीहरू र तेरा मानिसहरूमाथि म मेरा सबै विपत्ति ल्याउनेछु । सारा पृथ्वीमा मजस्तो कोही रहेनछ भनी तैँले जान् भनी म यसो गर्नेछु ।
15 for now I have put forth My hand, and I strike you, and your people, with pestilence, and you are hidden from the earth.
यति बेलासम्म त मैले मेरो हात पसारेर तँ र तेरा मानिसहरूलाई रोगले आक्रमण गरेको भए तँ यस धरतीबाट मटिनेथिइस् ।
16 And yet for this I have caused you to stand, so as to show you My power, and for the sake of declaring My Name in all the earth;
मेरो नाउँ सारा पृथ्वीभरि घोषणा हुन सकोस् भनेर मेरो शक्ति देखाउनलाई मैले तँलाई जीवित रहने अनुमति दिएँ ।
17 still you are exalting yourself against My people—so as not to send them away;
मेरा मानिसहरूलाई जान नदिएर तैँले अझै पनि आफूलाई उचालिरहेको छस् ।
18 behold, I am raining very grievous hail about [this] time tomorrow, such as has not been in Egypt from the day of its founding and until now.
सुन्! भोलि यसै बेलातिर म निकै शक्तिशाली असिना बर्साउनेछु जुन मिश्र सुरु भएदेखि आजको दिनसम्म बर्सिएको छैन ।
19 And now, send, strengthen your livestock and all that you have in the field; every man and beast which is found in the field, and is not gathered into the house—the hail has come down on them, and they have died.”
अब मानिसहरू पठाएर तेरा खेतहरूमा भएका तेरा गाईवस्तु र हरेक जे-जति छन् तिनलाई सुरक्षित स्थानमा जम्मा गर् । खेतमा भएका र घरमा नल्याइएका हरेक मानिस र पशुमाथि असिना बर्सनेछ र तिनीहरू मर्नेछन् ।”
20 He who is fearing the word of YHWH among the servants of Pharaoh has caused his servants and his livestock to flee to the houses;
परमप्रभुको सन्देशमा विश्वास गर्ने फारोका अधिकारीहरूले दासदासीहरू र गाईवस्तुहरूलाई घरहरूमा हुल्न हतार गरे ।
21 and he who has not set his heart to the word of YHWH leaves his servants and his livestock in the field.
तर परमप्रभुको सन्देशलाई गम्भीरतापूर्वक नलिनेहरूले तिनीहरूका दासदासीहरू र गाईवस्तुहरूलाई खेतहरूमा छाडिदिए ।
22 And YHWH says to Moses, “Stretch forth your hand toward the heavens, and there is hail in all the land of Egypt, on man, and on beast, and on every herb of the field in the land of Egypt.”
तब परमप्रभुले मोशालाई भन्नुभयो, “तेरो हात आकाशमाथि पसार् ताकि मिश्र देशमा असिना बर्सोस् । ती मिश्र देशभरिका मानिसहरू, पशुहरू खेतमा भएका सबै बोट-बिरुवामा बर्सून् ।”
23 And Moses stretches out his rod toward the heavens, and YHWH has given voices and hail, and fire goes toward the earth, and YHWH rains hail on the land of Egypt,
मोशाले आफ्नो लट्ठी आकाशतिर पसारे र परमप्रभुले जमिनमा गर्जन, असिना र बिजुली पठाइदिनुभयो । उहाँले मिश्र देशमा असिना बर्साइदिनुभयो । बिजुलीसँगै असिना मिसिएर आएको थियो ।
24 and there is hail, and fire catching itself in the midst of the hail, very grievous, such as has not been in all the land of Egypt since it has become a nation.
यो यति डरलाग्दो थियो कि मिश्र राज्य भएदेखि त्यस देशमा यस्तो कहिल्यै भएको थिएन ।
25 And the hail strikes all that [is] in the field in all the land of Egypt, from man even to beast, and the hail has struck every herb of the field, and it has broken every tree of the field;
मिश्र देशभरि असिनाले खेतमा भएका हरेक कुरासाथै मानिस र पशुहरू दुवैलाई प्रहार गर्यो । यसले खेतहरूमा भएको हरेक बोट-बिरुवालाई प्रहार गर्नुका साथै हरेक रुख भाँचिदियो ।
26 only in the land of Goshen, where the sons of Israel [are], there has been no hail.
इस्राएलीहरू बसेको गोशेन प्रदेशमा मात्र असिना परेको थिएन ।
27 And Pharaoh sends, and calls for Moses and for Aaron, and says to them, “I have sinned this time—YHWH [is] the righteous, and I and my people [are] the wicked,
त्यसपछि फारोले मोशा र हारूनलाई बोलाउन मानिसहरू पठाए । तिनले तिनीहरूलाई भने, “यस पटक मैले पाप गरेको छु । परमप्रभु धर्मी हुनुहुन्छ अनि म र मेरा मानिसहरू दुष्ट छौँ ।
28 make supplication to YHWH, and plead that there be no voices of God and hail, and I send you away, and you do not add to remain.”
परमप्रभुलाई बिन्ती चढाऊ किनकि शक्तिशाली गर्जन र असिना अति भएका छन् । म तिमीहरूलाई जान दिनेछु र अब उसो तिमीहरू यहाँ बस्नुपर्नेछैन ।”
29 And Moses says to him, “At my going out of the city, I spread my palms to YHWH—the voices cease, and there is no more hail, so that you know that the earth [is] YHWH’s;
मोशाले तिनलाई भने, “मैले सहर छाड्ने बित्तिकै म मेरो हात परमप्रभुतिर फैलाउनेछु । गर्जन रोकिनेछ र अब उसो असिना पर्नेछैन । यसरी पृथ्वी परमप्रभुको हो रहेछ भनी तपाईंले थाहा पाउनुहुनेछ ।
30 but you and your servants—I have known that you are not yet afraid of the face of YHWH God.”
तर तपाईं र तपाईंका अधिकारीहरूको सवालमा तपाईंहरूले वास्तवमा परमप्रभुलाई आदर गर्नुहुन्न भनी म जान्दछु ।”
31 And the flax and the barley have been struck, for the barley [is] budding, and the flax forming flowers,
अब सनपाट र जौ नष्ट भए किनकि जौमा बाला लागेको थियो र सनपाटचाहिँ फुलिसकेको थियो ।
32 and the wheat and the rye have not been struck, for they are late.
तर गहुँ र कठियागहुँलाई हानि भएन किनकि ती पछि पाक्छन् ।
33 And Moses goes out from Pharaoh, [from] the city, and spreads his hands to YHWH, and the voices and the hail cease, and rain has not been poured out to the earth;
जब मोशाले फारो र सहरलाई छाडे तिनले आफ्ना हात परमप्रभुतिर फैलाए । गर्जन र असिना रोकिए अनि पानी पर्न छाड्यो ।
34 and Pharaoh sees that the rain has ceased, and the hail and the voices, and he continues to sin, and hardens his heart, he and his servants;
वर्षा, असिना र गर्जन रोकिएको देखेपछि फारोले फेरि पाप गरे र तिनले आफ्नो ह्रदय कठोर पारे र तिनका अधिकारीहरूले पनि त्यसै गरे ।
35 and the heart of Pharaoh is strong, and he has not sent the sons of Israel away, as YHWH has spoken by the hand of Moses.
फारोको ह्रदय कठोर भयो । त्यसैले तिनले इस्राएलका मानिसहरूलाई जान दिएनन् । फारोले यसै गर्नेथिए भनी परमप्रभुले मोशालाई भन्नुभएको थियो ।
