< Exodus 6 >

1 And YHWH says to Moses, “Now you see that which I do to Pharaoh, for with a strong hand he sends them away, indeed, with a strong hand he casts them out of his land.”
BOEIPA loh Moses te, “Pharaoh taengah ka saii ham tena hmuh pawn ni. Tlungluen kut he amih taengah a tueih vetih tlungluen kutloh amihte a khohmuen lamloha haek ni,” a ti nah.
2 And God speaks to Moses and says to him, “I [am] YHWH,
Pathen loh Moses tea voek bal tih a taengah, “Kai tah Yahweh ni.
3 and I appear to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty; as for My Name YHWH, I have not been known to them;
Abraham taengah, Isaak taeng neh Jakob taengah Tlungthang Pathen la ka phoe coeng dae ka ming te amih taengah Yahweh la ka ming sak moenih.
4 and I have also established My covenant with them, to give the land of Canaan to them, the land of their sojournings, wherein they have sojourned;
Te dongah Kanaan khohmuen te amih taengah paek hamla amih taengah ka paipi te ka thoh bal. A khuiah ana bakuep nahte a lampahnah khohmuen ni.
5 and I have also heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, whom the Egyptians are causing to serve, and I remember My covenant.
Kai loh Israel ca rhoek kah nguekcoinah te khaw ka yaak coeng. Egypt loh amih thohtat sak cakhaw ka paipi te ka poek.
6 Therefore say to the sons of Israel: I [am] YHWH, and I have brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and have delivered you from their service, and have redeemed you by an outstretched arm, and by great judgments,
Te dongah Israel carhoek te thui pah. Kai BOEIPA loh nangmih te Egypt bitloh hmui lamkah kan loh vetih amih kah thohtatnah lamloh nangmih te kang huul ni. Nangmih te ban ka yueng vetih tholhphu tanglue neh kan tlan ni.
7 and have taken you to Myself for a people, and I have been to you for God, and you have known that I [am] your God YHWH, who is bringing you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians;
Nangmih te kamah taengah pilnam la kan loh vetih nangmih taengah Pathen la ka om ni. Te vaengah Egypt bitloh hmui lamloh nangmih aka khuen BOEIPA na Pathen kamah he nan ming uh bitni.
8 and I have brought you to the land which I have lifted up My hand to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, and have given it to you—a possession; I [am] YHWH.”
Nangmih khaw te khohmuen la kang khuen ni. Te te paek ham ni ka kut he Abraham taeng neh Isaak taeng neh Jakob taengah ka thueng. Te dongah te te BOEIPA kamah loh khoh la nangmih taengah kam paek ni,” a ti nah.
9 And Moses speaks so to the sons of Israel, and they did not listen to Moses, for anguish of spirit, and for harsh service.
Moses loh Israel loh ca rhoek taengaha thui dae mangkhak la thohtatnah neh mueihla kobawtnah dongah Moses ol te hnatun uh pawh.
10 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Te vaengah BOEIPA loh Moses tea voek tih,
11 “Go in, speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he sends the sons of Israel out of his land”;
Paan lamtah Egypt manghai Pharaoh te thui, Israel carhoek te a khohmuen lamloh hlah laeh saeh,” a ti nah.
12 and Moses speaks before YHWH, saying, “Behold, the sons of Israel have not listened to me, and how does Pharaoh hear me, and I of uncircumcised lips?”
Tedae Moses loh BOEIPA mikhmuh ah rhep a thui tih, “Israel ca rhoek long pataeng kai ol hea hnatun uh moenih he. Te dongah kai tah ka hmuilai aka ngun he Pharaoh loh metlam kai ol a hnatun eh?” a ti nah.
13 And YHWH speaks to Moses and to Aaron, and charges them for the sons of Israel, and for Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt.
Te phoeiah BOEIPA loh Moses neh Aaron tea voek tih Israel ca kawng neh Egypt manghai Pharaoh kawng khaw, Egypt khohmuen lamloh Israel ca rhoek a khuen ham te khaw a uen.
14 These [are] heads of the house of their fathers. Sons of Reuben firstborn of Israel: Enoch, and Phallu, Hezron, and Carmi; these [are] families of Reuben.
Israel kah caming Reuben koca kah a napa imkhui kah a lu rhoek la Enok neh Khetsron Pallu neh Karmee tih, te rhoek te Reuben huiko la om.
15 And sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul, son of the Canaanite; these [are] families of Simeon.
Simeon kocaah Jemuel neh Jamin, Ohad neh Jakhin, Zohar neh Kanaan nu kah a capa Saul khaw om. He rhoek he Simeon kah huiko la om.
16 And these [are] the names of the sons of Levi, as to their births: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari; and the years of the life of Levi [are] one hundred and thirty-seven years.
Amah rhuirhong dongah Levi koca rhoeka ming tah Gershon, Kohath neh Merari om. Levi kah a hingnah kum he kum ya sawmthum kum rhih lo.
17 The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimi, as to their families.
Gershon kocaah Libni neh Shimei he amah huiko la om van.
18 And the sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel; and the years of the life of Kohath [are] one hundred and thirty-three years.
Kohath kocaah Amram, Izhar, Hebron neh Uzziel om. Kohath kah a hingnah kum he kum ya sawmthum kum thum lo.
19 And the sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi; these [are] families of Levi, as to their births.
Merari koca rhoek la Mahli neh Mushi om tih Amah rhuirhong ah tah te rhoi khaw Levi kah huiko la om.
20 And Amram takes his aunt Jochebed to himself for a wife, and she bears Aaron and Moses to him; and the years of the life of Amram [are] one hundred and thirty-seven years.
Amram loh a napi Jokhebed te a yuu laa loh tih Aaron neh Mosesa cun pah. Amram a hingnah kum he kum ya sawmthum kum rhih lo.
21 And sons of Izhar: Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.
Izhar kocaah Korah, Nepheg neh Zikhri.
22 And sons of Uzziel: Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri.
Uzziel koca Mishael, Elizaphan neh Sithri.
23 And Aaron takes Elisheba daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to himself for a wife, and she bears to him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
Aaron loh Amminadab canu, Nahshon ngannu Elisheba te a yuu laa loh tih Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar neh Ithamara sak pah.
24 And sons of Korah: Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph; these [are] families of the Korahite.
Korah kah kocaah Assir, Elkanah neh Abiasaph tih, te rhoek te Korah kah cako la om uh.
25 And Eleazar, Aaron’s son, has taken to himself [one] of the daughters of Putiel for a wife for himself, and she bears Phinehas to him; these [are] heads of the fathers of the Levites, as to their families.
Aaron capa Eleazar loh Putiel nute a yuu laa loh tih Phinekha tea sak. Te rhoek te amah huiko ah Levi napa kah patuel la om.
26 This [is] Aaron—and Moses—to whom YHWH said, “Bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, by their hosts”;
BOEIPA loh Aaron neh Moses te, “Israel ca rhoek te Egypt kho lamloh a caempuei la khuen laeh,” a ti nah.
27 these are they who are speaking to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from Egypt, this [is] Moses—and Aaron.
Israel ca te Egypt lamloh khuen ham Egypt manghai Pharaoh taengah aka thui khaw amih rhoi Moses neh Aaron ni.
28 And it comes to pass in the day of YHWH’s speaking to Moses in the land of Egypt,
BOEIPA loh Mosesa voek hnin ah Egypt kho ah om coeng.
29 that YHWH speaks to Moses, saying, “I [am] YHWH, speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I am speaking to you.”
Te vaengah BOEIPA loh Moses tea voek tih, “Kai tah Yahweh ni, kai loh nang taengah ka thui boeih te Egypt manghai Pharaoh taengah thui pah,” a ti nah.
30 And Moses says before YHWH, “Behold, I [am] of uncircumcised lips, and how does Pharaoh listen to me?”
Tedae Moses loh BOEIPA mikhmuh ah, “Kai hmuilai aka ngun he Pharaoh loh kai ol te metlama hnatun pai eh?,” a ti.
