Exodus 40
1 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Då tala Herren til Moses, og sagde:
2 “On the first day of the month, in the first month, you raise up the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting,
«Den fyrste dagen i den fyrste månaden skal du reisa møtetjeldhuset.
3 and have set the Ark of the Testimony [in] there, and have covered over the Ark with the veil,
Der skal du setja lovtavlekista, og hengja forhenget attfor kista.
4 and have brought in the table, and set its arrangement in order, and have brought in the lampstand, and caused its lamps to go up.
So skal du setja inn bordet, og på det skal du skipa det som på det skal vera. Og du skal bera inn ljosestaken, og setja upp lamporne på honom.
5 And you have put the golden altar for incense before the Ark of the Testimony, and have put the covering of the opening to the Dwelling Place,
Det gullklædde røykjelsesaltaret skal du setja framanfor lovtavlekista, og so skal du hengja upp dørtæpet i husdøri.
6 and have put the altar of the burnt-offering before the opening of the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting,
Brennofferaltaret skal du setja framanfor døri til møtetjeldhuset,
7 and have put the laver between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and have put water [in] there.
og balja skal du setja millom møtetjeldet og altaret, og hava vatn upp i henne,
8 And you have set the court all around, and have placed the covering of the gate of the court,
og so skal du setja upp garden kring tunet, og hengja upp tæpet i tunporten.
9 and have taken the anointing oil, and anointed the Dwelling Place, and all that [is] in it, and hallowed it, and all its vessels, and it has been holy;
Sidan skal du taka salvingsoljen, og salva huset og alt som i det er, og vigsla både huset og all bunaden i det, so det vert heilagt.
10 and you have anointed the altar of the burnt-offering, and all its vessels, and sanctified the altar, and the altar has been most holy;
Og du skal salva brennofferaltaret og alt det som til høyrer, og vigsla altaret, og då skal altaret vera høgheilagt.
11 and you have anointed the laver and its base, and sanctified it.
Og du skal salva balja og foten ho stend på og vigsla henne.
12 And you have brought Aaron and his sons near to the opening of the Tent of Meeting, and have bathed them with water;
So skal du kalla Aron og sønerne hans burtåt møtetjelddøri, og två deim med vatn,
13 and you have clothed Aaron with the holy garments, and anointed him, and sanctified him, and he has acted as priest to Me.
og du skal klæda Aron i den heilage klædebunaden, og salva honom og vigsla honom, og so skal han vera prest for meg.
14 And you bring his sons near, and have clothed them with coats,
Og sønerne hans skal du og kalla fram og klæda deim med underkjolar,
15 and anointed them as you have anointed their father, and they have acted as priests to Me, and their anointing has been to them for a continuous priesthood throughout their generations.”
og salva deim, liksom du salva far deira, so dei kann vera prestar for meg, og salvingi skal gjeva deim retten til preste-embættet, mann etter mann, i all æva.»
16 And Moses does according to all that YHWH has commanded him; so he has done.
Og Moses gjorde so: han gjorde i alle måtar som Herren sagde honom fyre.
17 And it comes to pass, in the first month, in the second year, on the first of the month, the Dwelling Place has been raised up;
Den fyrste månaden av det andre året, den fyrste dagen i månaden, var det at huset vart reist.
18 and Moses raises up the Dwelling Place, and sets its sockets, and places its boards, and places its bars, and raises its pillars,
Då reiste Moses huset: han sette ned stabbarne og reiste upp plankarne, lagde inn tverstokkarne og sette upp stolparne,
19 and spreads the tent over the Dwelling Place, and puts the covering of the tent on it above, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
so spana han ut tjeldet yver huset, og lagde tjeldtaket ovanpå, alt soleis som Herren hadde sagt Moses fyre.
20 And he takes and puts the Testimony into the Ark, and sets the poles on the Ark, and puts the propitiatory covering on the Ark above;
So tok han og lagde lovtavlorne ned i kista, og sette stengerne i, og sette loket yver kista.
21 and brings the Ark into the Dwelling Place, and places the veil of the covering, and covers over the Ark of the Testimony, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Og kista sette han inn i gudshuset, og feste upp forhengtæpet, so det hekk attfor lovtavlekista, alt soleis som Herren hadde sagt Moses fyre.
22 And he puts the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the side of the Dwelling Place northward, at the outside of the veil,
So sette han bordet i møtetjeldet, innåt nørdre husveggen, utanfor forhenget,
23 and sets in order the arrangement of bread on it, before YHWH, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
og skipa brødi i rader på det for Herrens andlit, alt soleis som Herren hadde sagt Moses fyre.
24 And he puts the lampstand in the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the side of the Dwelling Place southward,
Ljosestaken sette han og i møtetjeldet, midt for bordet, innmed søre husveggen,
25 and causes the lamps to go up before YHWH, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
og sette upp lamporne for Herrens åsyn, alt soleis som Herren hadde sagt Moses fyre.
26 And he sets the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting, before the veil,
Gullaltaret og sette han i møtetjeldet, framanfor forhenget,
27 and makes incense on it—spice-incense—as YHWH has commanded Moses.
og brende angande røykjelse på det, alt soleis som Herren hadde sagt Moses fyre.
28 And he sets the covering [at] the opening of the Dwelling Place,
So hengde han upp dørtæpet,
29 and he has set the altar of the burnt-offering [at] the opening of the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting, and causes the burnt-offering to go up on it, and the present, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
og sette brennofferaltaret frammed døri til møtetjeldhuset, og ofra brennoffer og grjonoffer på det, alt soleis som Herren hadde sagt Moses fyre.
30 And he puts the laver between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and puts water [in] there for washing,
Balja sette han millom møtetjeldet og altaret, og hadde vatn i henne som dei skulde två seg med,
31 and Moses and Aaron and his sons have washed their hands and their feet at the same;
og Moses og Aron og sønerne hans tok av vatnet og tvo hender og føter;
32 in their going into the Tent of Meeting, and in their drawing near to the altar, they wash, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
kvar gong dei gjekk inn i møtetjeldet eller fram åt altaret, so tvo dei seg, alt soleis som Herren hadde sagt Moses fyre.
33 And he raises up the court all around the Dwelling Place, and around the altar, and places the covering of the gate of the court; and Moses completes the work.
So sette han upp garden kringum huset og altaret, og hengde upp tæpet i tunporten, og so var Moses ferdig med verket.
34 And the cloud covers the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of YHWH has filled the Dwelling Place;
Då sveipte skyi seg kringum møtetjeldet, og herlegdomen åt Herren fyllte huset.
35 and Moses has not been able to go into the Tent of Meeting, for the cloud has dwelt on it, and the glory of YHWH has filled the Dwelling Place.
Og Moses kunde ikkje koma inn i møtetjeldet, av di at skyi låg yver tjeldet, og herlegdomen åt Herren fyllte huset.
36 And in the going up of the cloud from off the Dwelling Place the sons of Israel journey in all their journeys;
Og kvar gong skyi lyfte seg ifrå gudshuset, tok Israels-folket ut; so gjorde dei på alle ferderne sine.
37 and if the cloud does not go up then they do not journey, until the day of its going up.
Men når skyi ikkje lyfte seg, so tok dei ikkje ut, men drygde til den dagen ho lyfte seg att.
38 For the cloud of YHWH [is] on the Dwelling Place by day, and fire is in it by night, before the eyes of all the house of Israel in all their journeys.
For Herrens sky låg yver huset um dagen, og um natti skein ho som eld for augo åt heile Israels-ætti på alle ferderne deira.
