Exodus 40
1 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Alò SENYÈ a te pale avèk Moïse. Li te di:
2 “On the first day of the month, in the first month, you raise up the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting,
“Nan premye jou mwa a ou va monte tabènak tant reyinyon an.
3 and have set the Ark of the Testimony [in] there, and have covered over the Ark with the veil,
Ou va plase lach temwayaj la, e ou va kouvri lach la avèk vwal la.
4 and have brought in the table, and set its arrangement in order, and have brought in the lampstand, and caused its lamps to go up.
Ou va mennen tab la antre, e ou va ranje li avèk sa ki dwe sou li. Konsa, ou va mennen fè lantre chandelye a, e lime lanp li yo.
5 And you have put the golden altar for incense before the Ark of the Testimony, and have put the covering of the opening to the Dwelling Place,
“Anplis, ou va plase lotèl lò a pou lansan devan lach temwayaj la, e ou va monte vwal la pou pòtay tabènak tant reyinyon an.
6 and have put the altar of the burnt-offering before the opening of the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting,
“Ou va plase lotèl ofrann brile a devan pòtay a tabènak tant reyinyon an.
7 and have put the laver between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and have put water [in] there.
Ou va plase basen lave a antre tant reyinyon an ak lotèl la e ou va mete dlo nan li.
8 And you have set the court all around, and have placed the covering of the gate of the court,
Ou va monte galeri a toutotou e ou va pann vwal la pou pòtay galeri a.
9 and have taken the anointing oil, and anointed the Dwelling Place, and all that [is] in it, and hallowed it, and all its vessels, and it has been holy;
“Epi ou va pran lwil onksyon an e ou va onksyone tabènak la ak tout sa ki ladann. Konsa, ou va konsakre li avèk tout afè li yo, epi li va sen.
10 and you have anointed the altar of the burnt-offering, and all its vessels, and sanctified the altar, and the altar has been most holy;
Ou va onksyone lotèl ofrann brile a ak tout bagay itil li yo, epi ou va konsakre lotèl la. Konsa, lotèl la va vin sen pase tout bagay.
11 and you have anointed the laver and its base, and sanctified it.
Ou va onksyone basen lave a ak baz li, e ou va konsakre li.
12 And you have brought Aaron and his sons near to the opening of the Tent of Meeting, and have bathed them with water;
“Konsa, ou va mennen Aaron ak fis li yo vè pòtay tant reyinyon an, e ou va lave yo avèk dlo.
13 and you have clothed Aaron with the holy garments, and anointed him, and sanctified him, and he has acted as priest to Me.
Ou va mete vètman sen yo sou Aaron. Ou va onksyone Aaron, e konsakre li, pou li kapab vin sèvi kòm prèt Mwen.
14 And you bring his sons near, and have clothed them with coats,
Ou va mennen fis li yo pou mete tinik sou yo.
15 and anointed them as you have anointed their father, and they have acted as priests to Me, and their anointing has been to them for a continuous priesthood throughout their generations.”
Konsa, ou va onksyone yo jis jan ke ou te onksyone papa yo, pou yo kapab vin sèvi kòm prèt pou Mwen. Onksyon pa yo va kalifye yo kòm prèt pou tout tan atravè tout jenerasyon pa yo.”
16 And Moses does according to all that YHWH has commanded him; so he has done.
Se konsa Moïse te fè. Selon tout sa ke SENYÈ a te kòmande li yo, konsa li te fè.
17 And it comes to pass, in the first month, in the second year, on the first of the month, the Dwelling Place has been raised up;
Alò, nan premye mwa nan dezyèm ane a, nan premye jou mwa a, tabènak la te monte.
18 and Moses raises up the Dwelling Place, and sets its sockets, and places its boards, and places its bars, and raises its pillars,
Moïse te monte tabènak la. Li te poze baz reseptikal li yo, li te monte planch li yo, li te pozisyone travès li yo, e li monte pilye li yo.
19 and spreads the tent over the Dwelling Place, and puts the covering of the tent on it above, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Li te louvri tant lan sou tabènak la e li te mete kouvèti tant lan anwo li, jis jan ke SENYÈ a te kòmande Moïse la.
20 And he takes and puts the Testimony into the Ark, and sets the poles on the Ark, and puts the propitiatory covering on the Ark above;
Konsa, li te pran temwayaj la pou fè l antre nan lach la. Li te tache poto yo nan lach la, e li te mete chèz pwopyatwa a sou lach la.
21 and brings the Ark into the Dwelling Place, and places the veil of the covering, and covers over the Ark of the Testimony, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Li te mennen lach la nan tabènak la, e li te monte yon vwal pou separe l. Li te separe lach temwayaj la, jis jan ke SENYÈ a te kòmande Moïse la.
22 And he puts the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the side of the Dwelling Place northward, at the outside of the veil,
Anplis li te mete tab la nan tant reyinyon an sou kote nò tabènak la, deyò vwal la.
23 and sets in order the arrangement of bread on it, before YHWH, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Li te plase pen, byen ranje an lòd devan SENYÈ a jis jan ke SENYÈ a te kòmande Moïse la.
24 And he puts the lampstand in the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the side of the Dwelling Place southward,
Alò, li te mete chandelye a nan tant reyinyon an, sou kote sid tabènak la.
25 and causes the lamps to go up before YHWH, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Li te limen lap yo devan SENYÈ a, jis jan ke SENYÈ a te kòmande Moïse la.
26 And he sets the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting, before the veil,
Epi li te plase lotèl lò a nan tant reyinyon an pa devan vwal la.
27 and makes incense on it—spice-incense—as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Li te brile lansan santi bon an sou li, jis jan ke SENYÈ a te kòmande Moïse la.
28 And he sets the covering [at] the opening of the Dwelling Place,
Alò, li te monte vwal pòtay tabènak la.
29 and he has set the altar of the burnt-offering [at] the opening of the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting, and causes the burnt-offering to go up on it, and the present, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Li te plase lotèl ofrann brile a devan pòtay tabènak tant reyinyon an, e li te ofri sou li ofrann brile a ak ofrann sereyal la, jis jan ke SENYÈ a te kòmande Moïse la.
30 And he puts the laver between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and puts water [in] there for washing,
Li te plase basen lave a antre tant reyinyon an ak lotèl la, e li te mete dlo ladann pou lave.
31 and Moses and Aaron and his sons have washed their hands and their feet at the same;
Nan li, Moïse avèk Aaron avèk fis li yo te lave men yo avèk pye yo.
32 in their going into the Tent of Meeting, and in their drawing near to the altar, they wash, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Lè yo te antre nan tant reyinyon an, e lè yo te apwoche lotèl la, yo te lave, jis jan ke SENYÈ a te kòmande Moïse la.
33 And he raises up the court all around the Dwelling Place, and around the altar, and places the covering of the gate of the court; and Moses completes the work.
Li te monte galeri a toutotou tabènak la ak lotèl la, e li te pandye vwal la pou pòtay galeri a. Konsa, Moïse te fin fè travay la.
34 And the cloud covers the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of YHWH has filled the Dwelling Place;
Alò, nyaj la te kouvri tant reyinyon an, e laglwa SENYÈ a te ranpli tabènak la.
35 and Moses has not been able to go into the Tent of Meeting, for the cloud has dwelt on it, and the glory of YHWH has filled the Dwelling Place.
Moïse pa t kapab antre nan tant reyinyon an, paske nyaj la te poze sou li, e laglwa SENYÈ a te ranpli tabènak la.
36 And in the going up of the cloud from off the Dwelling Place the sons of Israel journey in all their journeys;
Pandan tout vwayaj pa yo, nenpòt lè ke nyaj la te leve anwo sou tabènak la, fis Israël yo te leve sòti pou fè vwayaj;
37 and if the cloud does not go up then they do not journey, until the day of its going up.
men si nyaj la pa t leve, alò, yo pa t vwayaje jis rive jou ke li te leve a.
38 For the cloud of YHWH [is] on the Dwelling Place by day, and fire is in it by night, before the eyes of all the house of Israel in all their journeys.
Paske pandan tout vwayaj yo, nyaj SENYÈ a te sou tabènak la nan lajounen, e li te gen dife ladann lannwit, devan zye a tout kay Israël la.
