< Exodus 40 >
1 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
BOEIPA loh Moses te a voek tih,
2 “On the first day of the month, in the first month, you raise up the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting,
Hla lamhmacuek kah hlasae lamhmacuek khohnin ah tingtunnah dap kah dungtlungim te thoh.
3 and have set the Ark of the Testimony [in] there, and have covered over the Ark with the veil,
Te vaengah olphong thingkawng te pahoi khueh lamtah thingkawng soah hniyan neh khuk thil.
4 and have brought in the table, and set its arrangement in order, and have brought in the lampstand, and caused its lamps to go up.
Caboei te khaw khuen lamtah a phu te tael pah. Hmaitung te khuen bal lamtah a hmaithoi te tok pah.
5 And you have put the golden altar for incense before the Ark of the Testimony, and have put the covering of the opening to the Dwelling Place,
Olphong thingkawng hmai ah bo-ul ham sui hmueihtuk te hol lamtah dungtlungim ham thohka kah himbaiyan te yan pah.
6 and have put the altar of the burnt-offering before the opening of the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting,
Te phoeiah hmueihhlutnah hmueihtuk te tingtunnah dap kah dungtlungim thohka hmai ah hol.
7 and have put the laver between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and have put water [in] there.
Baeldung te tingtunnah dap laklo neh hmueihtuk laklo ah hol lamtah tui pahoi loei pah.
8 And you have set the court all around, and have placed the covering of the gate of the court,
Vongtung te pin thoh lamtah vongtung vongka kah himbaiyan te yan pah vetih, akhui la kun nah thohka ah himbai te yanuh.
9 and have taken the anointing oil, and anointed the Dwelling Place, and all that [is] in it, and hallowed it, and all its vessels, and it has been holy;
Koelhnah situi te lo lamtah dungtlungim neh a khuikah a cungkuem te koelh. Te neh a hnopai cungkuem te na ciim daengah ni a. cim la a om eh.
10 and you have anointed the altar of the burnt-offering, and all its vessels, and sanctified the altar, and the altar has been most holy;
Te phoeiah hmueihhlutnah hmueihtuk neh a hnopai boeih te koelh. Hmueihtuk te ciim lamtah hmueihtuk te a cim a cim koek la om saeh.
11 and you have anointed the laver and its base, and sanctified it.
Baeldung neh a kho te khaw koelh lamtah ciim.
12 And you have brought Aaron and his sons near to the opening of the Tent of Meeting, and have bathed them with water;
Te phoeiah Aaron neh anih koca rhoek te tingtunnah dap thohka la khuen lamtah amih te tui hluk.
13 and you have clothed Aaron with the holy garments, and anointed him, and sanctified him, and he has acted as priest to Me.
Aaron te a cim himbai bai sak lamtah koelh. Anih te ciim lamtah kamah taengah khosoih saeh.
14 And you bring his sons near, and have clothed them with coats,
A ca rhoek te khaw khuen lamtah amih te angkidung puei sak.
15 and anointed them as you have anointed their father, and they have acted as priests to Me, and their anointing has been to them for a continuous priesthood throughout their generations.”
A napa na koelh bangla amih te koelh lamtah kamah taengah khosoih saeh. Khosoihbi he a cadilcahma ham kumhal due amih koelhnah la om rhoe om saeh,” a ti nah.
16 And Moses does according to all that YHWH has commanded him; so he has done.
BOEIPA loh anih saii sak ham a uen boeih te Moses loh a saii.
17 And it comes to pass, in the first month, in the second year, on the first of the month, the Dwelling Place has been raised up;
Te dongah a kum bae dongkah lamhma cuek hla a pha neh hlasae dongkah lamhma cuek hnin ah dungtlungim te a pai sak.
18 and Moses raises up the Dwelling Place, and sets its sockets, and places its boards, and places its bars, and raises its pillars,
Moses loh dungtlungim te a thoh vaengah a buenhol a buen tih a longlaeng te a paek. A thohkalh te a rholh tih a tung te khaw a ling.
19 and spreads the tent over the Dwelling Place, and puts the covering of the tent on it above, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Dungtlungim sokah dap te a dih tih BOEIPA loh Moses a uen bangla dap imphu te a so, so lamloh a khueh.
20 And he takes and puts the Testimony into the Ark, and sets the poles on the Ark, and puts the propitiatory covering on the Ark above;
Te phoeiah olphong te a khuen tih thingkawng khuiah a khueh. Thingpang te thingkawng dongah a rholh phoeiah tah a tlaeng te thingkawng soah a so lamloh a tloeng.
21 and brings the Ark into the Dwelling Place, and places the veil of the covering, and covers over the Ark of the Testimony, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Te phoeiah thingkawng te dungtlungim khuila a khuen tih himbaiyan dongkah hniyan te a yan thil. Te vaengah BOEIPA loh Moses a uen vanbangla olphong thingkawng te a khuk.
22 And he puts the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the side of the Dwelling Place northward, at the outside of the veil,
Caboei te tah tingtunnah dap khuikah dungtlungim kaep, tlangpuei hniyan kah kawtpoeng ah a khueh.
23 and sets in order the arrangement of bread on it, before YHWH, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
A soah BOEIPA hmai kah buh te, BOEIPA loh Moses a uen bangla buelh a tawn.
24 And he puts the lampstand in the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the side of the Dwelling Place southward,
Hmaitung te tah tingtunnah dap khuikah caboei dan, dungtlungim kaep kah tuithim ah a khueh.
25 and causes the lamps to go up before YHWH, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Hmaithoi te BOEIPA loh Moses a uen vanbangla BOEIPA mikhmuh ah a tok.
26 And he sets the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting, before the veil,
Sui hmueihtuk te tingtunnah dap khuikah hniyan hmai ah a khueh.
27 and makes incense on it—spice-incense—as YHWH has commanded Moses.
A soah BOEIPA loh Moses a uen vanbangla botui bo-ul khaw a phum.
28 And he sets the covering [at] the opening of the Dwelling Place,
Te phoeiah dungtlungim thohka kah himbaiyan te a bang.
29 and he has set the altar of the burnt-offering [at] the opening of the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting, and causes the burnt-offering to go up on it, and the present, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Hmueihhlutnah hmueihtuk te tingtunnah dap kah dungtlungim thohka ah a khueh tih te soah te hmueihhlutnah neh khocang khaw BOEIPA loh Moses a uen vanbangla a nawn.
30 And he puts the laver between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and puts water [in] there for washing,
Baeldung te tingtunnah dap laklo neh hmueihtuk laklo ah a hol tih hluk ham tui khaw pahoi a khueh.
31 and Moses and Aaron and his sons have washed their hands and their feet at the same;
Te nen te Moses neh Aaron neh anih koca rhoek loh a kut a kho a silh uh.
32 in their going into the Tent of Meeting, and in their drawing near to the altar, they wash, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Tingtunnah dap khuila a kun ham vaengah khaw, hmueihtuk la a caeh uh vaengah khaw BOEIPA loh Moses a uen vanbangla a silh uh.
33 And he raises up the court all around the Dwelling Place, and around the altar, and places the covering of the gate of the court; and Moses completes the work.
Dungtlungim ham neh hmueihtuk ham vongtung pin a tung tih vongup vongka kah himbaiyan a yan daengah Moses loh bitat a coeng.
34 And the cloud covers the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of YHWH has filled the Dwelling Place;
Te vaengah tingtunnah dap te cingmai loh a thing tih BOEIPA thangpomnah loh dungtlungim ah bae.
35 and Moses has not been able to go into the Tent of Meeting, for the cloud has dwelt on it, and the glory of YHWH has filled the Dwelling Place.
A soah cingmai yaal tih BOEIPA kah thangpomnah loh dungtlungim ah a bae dongah Moses loh tingtunnah dap khuila kun ham coeng pah pawh.
36 And in the going up of the cloud from off the Dwelling Place the sons of Israel journey in all their journeys;
A longpueng khing ah dungtlungim dong lamloh cingmai a caeh van vaengah ni Israel ca rhoek khaw a caeh uh.
37 and if the cloud does not go up then they do not journey, until the day of its going up.
Tedae cingmai a caeh pawt atah a caeh hnin duela cet uh van pawh.
38 For the cloud of YHWH [is] on the Dwelling Place by day, and fire is in it by night, before the eyes of all the house of Israel in all their journeys.
A longpueng khing Israel imkhui pum kah mikhmuh ah tah khothaih ah dungtlungim sokah BOEIPA cingmai neh khoyin ah hmai a om pah.
