Exodus 38
1 And he makes the altar of burnt-offering of shittim wood; five cubits its length, and five cubits its breadth (square), and three cubits its height;
Fece l'altare di legno di acacia: aveva cinque cubiti di lunghezza e cinque cubiti di larghezza, era cioè quadrato, e aveva l'altezza di tre cubiti.
2 and he makes its horns on its four corners; its horns have been of the same; and he overlays it with bronze;
Fece i suoi corni ai suoi quattro angoli: i suoi corni erano tutti di un pezzo; lo rivestì di rame.
3 and he makes all the vessels of the altar, the pots, and the shovels, and the sprinkling-pans, the forks, and the fire-pans; he has made all its vessels of bronze.
Fece anche tutti gli accessori dell'altare: i recipienti per raccogliere le ceneri, le sue pale, i suoi vasi per aspersione, le sue forchette e i bracieri: fece di rame tutti i suoi accessori.
4 And he makes a bronze grate of network for the altar, under its rim beneath, to its midst;
Fece per l'altare una graticola, lavorata a forma di rete, di rame, e la pose sotto la cornice dell'altare in basso: la rete arrivava a metà altezza dell'altare.
5 and he casts four rings for the four ends of the bronze grate—places for bars;
Fuse quattro anelli e li pose alle quattro estremità della graticola di rame, per inserirvi le stanghe.
6 and he makes the poles of shittim wood, and overlays them with bronze;
Fece anche le stanghe di legno di acacia e le rivestì di rame.
7 and he brings in the poles into the rings on the sides of the altar, to carry it with them; he made it hollow [with] boards.
Introdusse le stanghe negli anelli sui lati dell'altare: servivano a trasportarlo. Fece l'altare di tavole, vuoto all'interno.
8 And he makes the laver of bronze, and its base of bronze, with the mirrors of the women assembling, who have assembled at the opening of the Tent of Meeting.
Fece la conca di rame e il suo piedestallo di rame, impiegandovi gli specchi delle donne, che nei tempi stabiliti venivano a prestar servizio all'ingresso della tenda del convegno.
9 And he makes the court: at the south side southward, the hangings of the court of twined linen, one hundred by the cubit,
Fece il recinto: sul lato meridionale, verso sud, il recinto aveva tendaggi di bisso ritorto, per la lunghezza di cento cubiti sullo stesso lato.
10 their pillars [are] twenty, and their bronze sockets twenty, the pegs of the pillars and their fillets [are] silver;
Vi erano le loro venti colonne con le venti basi di rame. Gli uncini delle colonne e le loro aste trasversali erano d'argento.
11 and at the north side, one hundred by the cubit, their pillars [are] twenty, and their sockets of bronze twenty; the pegs of the pillars and their fillets [are] silver;
Anche sul lato rivolto a settentrione vi erano tendaggi per cento cubiti di lunghezza, le relative venti colonne con le venti basi di rame, gli uncini delle colonne e le aste trasversali d'argento.
12 and at the west side [are] hangings, fifty by the cubit; their pillars [are] ten, and their sockets ten; the pegs of the pillars and their fillets [are] silver;
Sul lato verso occidente vi erano cinquanta cubiti di tendaggi, con le relative dieci colonne e le dieci basi,
13 and at the east side eastward, fifty cubits.
i capitelli delle colonne e i loro uncini d'argento. Sul lato orientale, verso levante, vi erano cinquanta cubiti:
14 The hangings on the side [are] fifteen cubits, their pillars three, and their sockets three,
quindici cubiti di tendaggi, con le relative tre colonne e le tre basi alla prima ala;
15 and at the second side at the gate of the court, on this [side] and on that [side]—hangings of fifteen cubits, their pillars three, and their sockets three;
all'altra ala quindici cubiti di tendaggi, con le tre colonne e le tre basi.
16 all the hangings of the court around [are] of twined linen,
Tutti i tendaggi che delimitavano il recinto erano di bisso ritorto.
17 and the sockets for the pillars of bronze, the pegs of the pillars and their fillets of silver, and the overlaying of their tops of silver, and all the pillars of the court are filleted with silver.
Le basi delle colonne erano di rame, gli uncini delle colonne e le aste trasversali erano d'argento; il rivestimento dei loro capitelli era d'argento e tutte le colonne del recinto avevano aste trasversali d'argento.
18 And the covering of the gate of the court [is] the work of an embroiderer, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen; and twenty cubits [is] the length, and the height with the breadth [is] five cubits, corresponding to the hangings of the court;
Alla porta del recinto vi era una cortina, lavoro di ricamatore, di porpora viola, porpora rossa, scarlatto e bisso ritorto: la sua lunghezza era di venti cubiti, la sua altezza, nel senso della larghezza, era di cinque cubiti, come i tendaggi del recinto.
19 and their pillars [are] four, and their sockets of bronze four, their pegs [are] of silver, and the overlaying of their tops and their fillets [are] of silver;
Le colonne relative erano quattro, con le quattro basi di rame, i loro uncini d'argento, il rivestimento dei loro capitelli e le loro aste trasversali d'argento.
20 and all the pins for the Dwelling Place, and for the court all around, [are] of bronze.
Tutti i picchetti della Dimora e del recinto circostante erano di rame.
21 These are the numberings of the Dwelling Place (the Dwelling Place of Testimony), which has been numbered by the command of Moses, the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.
Questo è il computo dei metalli impiegati per la Dimora, la Dimora della Testimonianza, redatto per ordine di Mosè e per opera dei leviti, sotto la direzione d'Itamar, figlio del sacerdote Aronne.
22 And Bezaleel son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, has made all that YHWH commanded Moses;
Bezaleel, figlio di Uri, figlio di Cur, della tribù di Giuda, eseguì quanto il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè;
23 and with him [is] Aholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, an engraver, and designer and embroiderer in blue, and in purple, and in scarlet, and in linen.
insieme con lui Ooliab, figlio di Achisamach della tribù di Dan, intagliatore, decoratore e ricamatore di porpora viola, porpora rossa, scarlatto e bisso.
24 All the gold which is prepared for the work in all the work of the holy place (and it is the gold of the wave-offering) [is] twenty-nine talents, and seven hundred and thirty shekels, by the shekel of the holy place.
Totale dell'oro impiegato per il lavoro, cioè per tutto il lavoro del santuario - era l'oro presentato in offerta -: ventinove talenti e settecentotrenta sicli, in sicli del santuario.
25 And the silver of those numbered of the congregation [is] one hundred talents, and one thousand and seven hundred and seventy-five shekels, by the shekel of the holy place;
L'argento raccolto, in occasione del censimento della comunità, pesava cento talenti e millesettecentosettantacinque sicli, in sicli del santuario,
26 a bekah for the counted head (half a shekel, by the shekel of the holy place), for everyone who is passing over to those numbered, from a son of twenty years and upwards, for six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
cioè un beka a testa, vale a dire mezzo siclo, secondo il siclo del santuario, per ciascuno di coloro che furono sottoposti al censimento, dai vent'anni in su. Erano seicentotremilacinquecentocinquanta.
27 And one hundred talents of silver are for casting the sockets of the holy place, and the sockets of the veil; one hundred sockets for the hundred talents, a talent for a socket;
Cento talenti di argento servirono a fondere le basi del santuario e le basi del velo: cento basi per cento talenti, cioè un talento per ogni base.
28 and [from] the one thousand and seven hundred and seventy-five [shekels] he has made pegs for the pillars, and overlaid their tops, and filleted them.
Con i millesettecentosettantacinque sicli fece gli uncini delle colonne, rivestì i loro capitelli e le riunì con le aste trasversali.
29 And the bronze of the wave-offering [is] seventy talents, and two thousand and four hundred shekels;
Il rame presentato in offerta assommava a settanta talenti e duemilaquattrocento sicli.
30 and he makes with it the sockets of the opening of the Tent of Meeting, and the bronze altar, and the bronze grate which it has, and all the vessels of the altar,
Con esso fece le basi per l'ingresso della tenda del convegno, l'altare di rame con la sua graticola di rame e tutti gli accessori dell'altare,
31 and the sockets of the court all around, and the sockets of the gate of the court, and all the pins of the Dwelling Place, and all the pins of the court all around.
le basi del recinto, le basi della porta del recinto, tutti i picchetti della Dimora e tutti i picchetti del recinto.
