Exodus 34
1 And YHWH says to Moses, “Hew for yourself two tablets of stone like the first, and I have written on the tablets the words which were on the first tablets which you have broken;
Ary hoy Jehovah tamin’ i Mosesy: Manamboara ho anao vato fisaka roa tahaka ilay teo, dia hosoratako amin’ ireo vato fisaka ireo ny teny izay tamin’ ilay vato fisaka teo, izay novakivakinao;
2 and be prepared at morning, and you have come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and have stood before Me there, on the top of the mountain,
ary aoka hivonona ianao mandra-pahamaraina; dia miakara raha maraina ho ao amin’ ny tendrombohitra Sinay, ka mitsangana eo anatrehako ao an-tampon’ ny tendrombohitra.
3 and no man comes up with you, and also no man is seen in all the mountain, also the flock and the herd do not feed toward the front of that mountain.”
Ary aoka tsy hisy olona hiakatra afa-tsy ianao, ary aoka tsy hisy olona ho hita eny amin’ ny tendrombohitra Sinay rehetra; ary ny ondry aman’ osy koa sy ny omby dia aoka tsy hisy handrasana eny akaikin’ izany tendrombohitra izany
4 And he hews two tablets of stone like the first, and Moses rises early in the morning, and goes up to Mount Sinai as YHWH commanded him, and takes [the] two tablets of stone in his hand.
Dia nanamboatra vato fisaka roa tahaka ilay teo Mosesy, ary nifoha maraina koa izy ka niakatra tao amin’ ny tendrombohitra Sinay, araka izay nandidian’ i Jehovah azy; ary nentiny teny an-tànany ny vato fisaka roa.
5 And YHWH comes down in a cloud, and stations Himself with him there, and calls in the Name of YHWH,
Ary Jehovah nidina tao anatin’ ny rahona ka nijanona teo aminy, dia nanonona ny anaran’ i Jehovah.
6 and YHWH passes over before his face, and calls: “YHWH, YHWH God, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in kindness and truth,
Ary Jehovah nandalo teo anatrehany ka niantso hoe: Jehovah, Jehovah, Andriamanitra mamindra fo sy miantra, mahari-po sady be famindram-po sy fahamarinana,
7 keeping kindness for thousands, taking away iniquity, and transgression, and sin, and not entirely acquitting, charging iniquity of fathers on sons and on sons’ sons, on a third and on a fourth [generation].”
mitahiry famindram-po ho an’ ny olona arivo mandimby, mamela heloka sy fahadisoana ary fahotana, kanefa tsy mety manamarina ny meloka, fa mamaly ny heloky ny ray amin’ ny zanaka sy ny zafy hatramin’ ny zafiafy sy ny zafindohalika.
8 And Moses hurries, and bows to the earth, and pays respect,
Ary Mosesy dia niondrika faingana tamin’ ny tany ka niankohoka;
9 and says, “Now if I have found grace in Your eyes, O my Lord, please let my Lord go in our midst (for it [is] a stiff-necked people), and you have forgiven our iniquity and our sin, and have inherited us.”
dia hoy izy: Tompo ô, raha mba mahita fitia eo imasonao aho, aoka Hianao, Tompo ô, handeha ao afovoanay (fa firenena mafy hatoka izy), ka mamelà ny helokay sy ny fahotanay ary raiso ho lovanao izahay.
10 And He says, “Behold, I am making a covenant. I do wonders before all your people, which have not been done in all the earth, or in any nation, and all the people in whose midst you [are in] have seen the work of YHWH, for it [is] fearful—that which I am doing with you.
Ary hoy Izy: Indro, manao fanekena Aho, ka eo anatrehan’ ny olonao rehetra no hanaovako zava-mahagaga, izay tsy mbola nisy natao tany amin’ ny tany rehetra sy tany amin’ ny firenena rehetra; ary ny olona rehetra izay itoeranao dia hahita ny asan’ i Jehovah, fa mahatahotra izay zavatra efa hataoko amin’ ny fiombako anao.
11 Observe for yourself that which I am commanding you today. Behold, I am casting out from before you the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite;
Tandremo izay andidiako anao anio; indro, efa horoahiko hiala eo anatrehanao ny Amorita sy ny Kananita sy ny Hetita sy ny Perizita sy ny Hivita ary ny Jebosita.
12 take heed to yourself lest you make a covenant with the inhabitant of the land into which you are going, lest it become a snare in your midst;
Koa mitandrema, fandrao hanao fanekena amin’ ny mponina eo amin’ ny tany izay halehanao ianao, ka ho fandrika eo afovoanao izany.
13 for you break down their altars, and you shatter their standing pillars, and you cut down its Asherim;
Fa ravao ny alitarany, ary torotoroy ny tsangam-baton-tsampiny, ary jinjao ny Aserahany.
14 for you do not bow yourselves to another god—for YHWH, whose Name [is] Zealous, is a zealous God.
Fa tsy hiankohoka eo anatrehan’ izay andriamani-kafa ianao; fa Jehovah, dia saro-piaro no anarany, satria Andriamanitra saro-piaro Izy,
15 Lest you make a covenant with the inhabitant of the land, and they have gone whoring after their gods, and have sacrificed to their gods, and [one] has called to you, and you have eaten of his sacrifice,
fandrao ianao hanao fanekena amin’ ny mponina eo amin’ ny tany, ka hijangajanga hanaraka ny andriamaniny sy hamono zavatra hatao fanatitra ho an’ ny andriamaniny izy, ary hasainy ianao ka hihinana amin’ ny fanatiny;
16 and you have taken of their daughters for your sons, and their daughters have gone whoring after their gods, and have caused your sons to go whoring after their gods;
ary andrao koa haka amin’ ny zananivavy ho vadin’ ny zanakao-lahy ianao, ary hijangajanga hanaraka ny andriamaniny ny zananivavy ka hampandeha ny zanakao-lahy hijangajanga hanaraka ny andriamaniny.
17 you do not make a molten god for yourself.
Aza manao andriamanitra an-idina ho anao.
18 You keep the Celebration of Unleavened Things; [for] seven days you eat unleavened things, as I have commanded you, at an appointed time, [in] the month of Abib: for in the month of Abib you came out from Egypt.
Tandremo ny andro firavoravoana, dia ny andro fihinanana ny mofo tsy misy masirasira. Hafitoana no hihinananao ny mofo tsy misy masirasira, araka izay nandidiako anao, amin’ ny fotoan’ andro amin’ ny volana Abiba, fa tamin’ ny volana Abiba no nivoahanao avy tany Egypta.
19 All opening a womb [are] Mine, and every firstling of your livestock born a male, [whether] ox or sheep;
Izay voalohan-teraka rehetra no Ahy, dia ny lahy amin’ ny voalohan-teraky ny bibinao, na omby na ondry aman’ osy;
20 and you ransom the firstling of a donkey with a lamb; and if you do not ransom, then you have beheaded it; you ransom every firstborn of your sons, and they do not appear before Me empty.
fa ny voalohan-teraky ny boriky kosa dia hosoloanao zanak’ ondry; ary raha tsy hanolo azy ianao, dia hofolahinao ny vozony; ary ny lahimatoa rehetra amin’ ny zanakao dia havotanao. Ary aoka tsy hisy hiseho foana tsy mitondra fanatitra eo anatrehako.
21 [For] six days you work, and on the seventh day you rest; in plowing-time and in harvest you rest.
Henemana no hiasanao, fa amin’ ny andro fahafito dia hitsahatra ianao: na dia amin’ ny taom-pamafazana sy amin’ ny taom-pijinjana aza dia hitsahatra ihany ianao.
22 And you observe [the] Celebration of Weeks for yourself, of [the] first-fruits of wheat-harvest; and the Celebration of Ingathering at the revolution of the year.
Ary tandremo ny andro firavoravoana manarakaraka ireo herinandro amin’ ny fanaterana ny voaloham-bokatra, raha mijinja ny vary tritika, sy ny andro firavoravoana amin’ ny fanangonana amin’ ny fitsingerenan’ ny taona.
23 Three times in a year all your males appear before the Lord YHWH, God of Israel;
Intelo isan-kerintaona ny lehilahy rehetra aminao no hiseho eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah Tompo, Andriamanitry ny Isiraely.
24 for I dispossess nations from before you, and have enlarged your border, and no man desires your land in your going up to appear before your God YHWH three times in a year.
Fa handroaka firenena eo alohanao Aho ka hanitatra ny fari-taninao; ary tsy hisy olona haniry ny taninao, raha miakatra hiseho eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao intelo isan-kerintaona ianao.
25 You do not slaughter the blood of My sacrifice with a fermented thing; and the sacrifice of the Celebration of the Passover does not remain until morning.
Aza manatitra ny ran’ ny zavatra vonoina hatao fanatitra ho Ahy ianao, raha mbola misy masirasira ao aminao; ary aza avela ho tra-maraina ny zavatra vonoina hatao fanatitra ho Ahy amin’ ny andro firavoravoana amin’ ny Paska.
26 You bring the first of the first-fruits of the land into the house of your God YHWH. You do not boil a kid in its mother’s milk.”
Ny santatra amin’ ny voaloham-bokatry ny taninao dia haterinao ho ao an-tranon’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao. Aza mahandro zanak’ osy amin’ ny rononon-dreniny.
27 And YHWH says to Moses, “Write these words for yourself, for I have made a covenant with you and with Israel according to the tenor of these words.”
Ary hoy Jehovah tamin’ i Mosesy: Soraty ireo teny ireo, fa araka ireo teny ireo no nanaovako fanekena aminao sy amin’ ny Isiraely.
28 And he is there with YHWH forty days and forty nights; he has not eaten bread, and he has not drunk water; and he writes on the tablets the matters of the covenant—the Ten Commandments.
Dia teo amin’ i Jehovah efa-polo andro sy efa-polo alina izy sady, tsy nihinan-kanina na nisotro rano. Ary nosoratan’ i Jehovah tamin’ ny vato fisaka ny tenin’ ny fanekena, dia ny Didy Folo.
29 And it comes to pass, when Moses is coming down from Mount Sinai (and the two tablets of the Testimony [are] in the hand of Moses in his coming down from the mountain), that Moses has not known that the skin of his face has shone in His speaking with him,
Ary Mosesy nidina avy tao an-tendrombohitra Sinay, ary teny an-tànany ny vato roa izay nisy ny Vavolombelona tamin’ izy nidina avy teo an-tendrombohitra, ary tsy fantany ho namirapiratra ny hoditry ny tavany noho ny nitenenany taminy.
30 and Aaron sees—all the sons of Israel also—Moses, and behold, the skin of his face has shone, and they are afraid of coming near to him.
Ary nony hitan’ i Arona sy ny Zanak’ Isiraely rehetra Mosesy, ka, indro, namirapiratra ny hoditry ny tavany, dia natahotra azy izy.
31 And Moses calls to them, and Aaron and all the princes in the congregation return to him, and Moses speaks to them;
Ary Mosesy niantso azy, dia niverina Arona sy ny lohan’ ny fiangonana rehetra ho eo aminy; ary Mosesy niteny taminy.
32 and afterward all the sons of Israel have come near, and he charges them with all that YHWH has spoken with him in Mount Sinai.
Ary rehefa afaka izany, dia nanakaiky koa ny Zanak’ Isiraely rehetra; ary Mosesy nandidy azy araka izay rehetra nolazain’ i Jehovah taminy tao amin’ ny tendrombohitra Sinay.
33 And Moses finishes speaking with them, and puts a veil on his face;
Ary rehefa vita ny teny nataon’ i Mosesy taminy, dia nasiany fisalobonana ny tavany.
34 and in the going in of Moses before YHWH to speak with Him, he turns aside the veil until his coming out; and he has come out and has spoken to the sons of Israel that which he is commanded;
Ary raha niditra teo anatrehan’ i Jehovah Mosesy hiteny aminy, dia nanaisotra ny fisalobonana izy mandra-pivoakany. Dia nivoaka izy ka nilaza tamin’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely izay efa nandidiana azy.
35 and the sons of Israel have seen the face of Moses, that the skin of the face of Moses has shone, and Moses has put back the veil on his face until his going in to speak with Him.
Ary hitan’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely ny tavan’ i Mosesy, fa, indro, namirapiratra ny hoditry ny tavany; dia nasaron’ i Mosesy ny tavany indray ny fisalobonana mandra-pidiny hiteny aminy indray.
