Exodus 28
1 “And you, bring your brother Aaron near to you, and his sons with him, from the midst of the sons of Israel, for his being priest to Me, [even] Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar, sons of Aaron;
১আর তুমি আমার যাজক হিসাবে ইস্রায়েলের সন্তানদের মধ্যে থেকে তোমার ভাই হারোণকে ও তার সঙ্গে তার ছেলেদের নিজের কাছে উপস্থিত করবে; হারোণ এবং হারোণের ছেলে নাদব, অবীহূ, ইলীয়াসর ও ঈথামরকে উপস্থিত করবে।
2 and you have made holy garments for your brother Aaron, for glory and for beauty;
২আর তোমার ভাই হারোণের জন্য, আমার উদ্দেশ্যে গৌরব ও শোভার জন্য তুমি পবিত্র পোশাক তৈরী করবে।
3 and you speak to all the wise of heart, whom I have filled [with] a spirit of wisdom, and they have made the garments of Aaron to sanctify him for his being priest to Me.
৩আর আমি যাদেরকে জ্ঞানের আত্মায় পূর্ণ করেছি, সেই সমস্ত জ্ঞানী লোকেদেরকে বল, যেন আমার সেবা করার জন্য যাজক হিসাবে হারোণকে পবিত্র করতে তারা তার পোশাক তৈরী করে।
4 And these [are] the garments which they make: a breastplate, and an ephod, and an upper robe, and an embroidered coat, a turban, and a girdle; indeed, they have made holy garments for your brother Aaron, and for his sons, for his being priest to Me.
৪এই সব পোশাক তারা তৈরী করবে; বুকপাটা, এফোদ, পরিচ্ছদ, বোনা পোশাক, পাগড়ি ও কোমরবন্ধনী; আমার যাজক হিসাবে সেবা করার উদ্দেশ্যে তারা তোমার ভাই হারোণের ও তার ছেলেদের জন্য পবিত্র পোশাক তৈরী করবে।
5 And they take the gold, and the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, and the linen,
৫তারা সোনা এবং নীল, বেগুনে ও লাল এবং সাদা মসীনা সুতো নেবে।
6 and have made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen, the work of a designer;
৬আর তারা সোনা এবং নীল, বেগুনে ও লাল এবং পাকান সাদা মসীনা সুতোয় দক্ষ কারিগর দিয়ে এফোদ তৈরী করবে।
7 it has two shoulders joining at its two ends, and it is joined.
৭তার দুই কাঁধে একে অপরের সাথে যুক্ত দুটি ফিতা থাকবে।
8 And the girdle of his ephod which [is] on him, according to its work, is of the same, of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen.
৮তা বাঁধবার জন্য সুক্ষ্মভাবে বোনা কোমরবন্ধনী এফোদের মত হতে হবে, তা তার সঙ্গে অখণ্ড এবং সেই পোশাকের সমান হবে; অর্থাৎ স্বর্ণ, নীল, বেগুনে ও লাল এবং পাকান সাদা মসীনা সূতো দিয়ে তৈরী হবে।
9 And you have taken the two shoham stones, and have engraved the names of the sons of Israel on them;
৯পরে তুমি দুই গোমেদক মণি নিয়ে তার উপরে ইস্রায়েলীয়দের নাম খোদাই করবে।
10 six of their names on the first stone, and the names of the remaining six on the second stone, according to their births;
১০তাদের জন্ম অনুযায়ী নাম অনুসারে ছয়টি নাম একটি পাথরের উপরে অবশ্যই থাকবে, ও অবশিষ্ট ছয়টি নাম অন্য পাথরের উপরে হবে।
11 the work of an engraver of stone, [as] engravings of a signet—you engrave the names of the sons of Israel on the two stones; encompassing, you make them [with] filigrees of gold.
১১শিল্পকাজ ও মুদ্রা খোদাইয়ের মত সেই দুটি পাথরের উপরে ইস্রায়েলের বারোটির ছেলের নাম খোদাই করা হবে। তোমরা অবশ্যই পাথরগুলি সোনার বিনুনি করা শিকল দিয়ে আঁটকিয়ে দেবে।
12 And you have set the two stones on the shoulders of the ephod—stones of memorial to the sons of Israel—and Aaron has borne their names before YHWH, on his two shoulders, for a memorial.
১২আর ইস্রায়েলীয়দের সদাপ্রভুকে স্মরণ করার জন্য মণিরূপে তুমি সেই দুটি পাথর এফোদের দুই কাঁধের ফিতাতে দেবে; তাতে হারোণ স্মরণ করবার জন্য সদাপ্রভুর সামনে নিজের দুটি কাঁধে তাদের নাম বহন করবে।
13 And you have made filigrees of gold,
১৩আর তুমি অবশ্যই সোনার কাজ করবে,
14 and you make them [with] two chains of pure gold [as] wreathed work, work of thick bands, and you have put the thick chains on the filigrees.
১৪এবং খাঁটি সোনা দিয়ে পাকান দুটি পাতা-কাটা মালার মত শিকল করবে এবং সেই পাকান শিকল দুটি অবশ্যই যুক্ত করবে।
15 And you have made a breastplate of judgment, the work of a designer; you make it according to the work of the ephod; you make it of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen;
১৫আর শিল্পীর দ্বারা কার্য্যে বিচার করার জন্য বুকপাটা তৈরী করবে; এফোদের মত কায়দায় করবে; সোনা, নীল, বেগুনে, লাল ও পাকান সাদা মসীনা সুতো দিয়ে তা তৈরী করবে।
16 it is square, doubled, a span its length, and a span its breadth.
১৬এটা চারকোণ ও দুইভাগ বিশিষ্ট হবে; এটার দৈর্ঘ্য এক বিঘত ও প্রস্থ এক বিঘত হবে।
17 And you have set settings of stone in it, four rows of stone: a row of sardius, topaz, and carbuncle [is] the first row;
১৭আর এটির ওপরে চার সারি মূল্যবান মণি লাগিয়ে তৈরী করবে; তার প্রথম সারিতে অবশ্যই চুণী, পীতমণি ও মরকত;
18 and the second row [is] emerald, sapphire, and diamond;
১৮দ্বিতীয় সারিতে অবশ্যই পদ্মরাগ, নীলকান্ত ও হীরক;
19 and the third row [is] opal, agate, and amethyst;
১৯তৃতীয় সারিতে অবশ্যই পেরোজ, যিস্ম ও কটাহেলা;
20 and the fourth row [is] beryl, and onyx, and jasper; they are embroidered with gold in their settings,
২০এবং চতুর্থ সারিতে বৈদূর্ষ্য, গোমেদক ও সূর্য্যকান্ত মণি; এই গুলি নিজের নিজের সারিতে সোনা দিয়ে লাগানো হবে।
21 and the stones are according to the names of the sons of Israel, twelve according to their names, [as] engravings of a signet, each with his name; they are for the twelve tribes.
২১এই পাথরগুলি ইস্রায়েলীয়দের বারোটি নামানুযায়ী সাজানো হবে; এই গুলি একটি আংটির উপর খোদাই করা প্রত্যেক পাথরে ঐ বারো বংশের জন্য এক এক ছেলের নাম থাকবে।
22 And you have made wreathed chains on the breastplate, [the] work of thick bands of pure gold;
২২আর তুমি খাঁটি সোনা দিয়ে বুকপাটার উপরে পাতার আকৃতি মালার মত পাকান দুটি শিকল তৈরী করে দেবে।
23 and you have made two rings of gold on the breastplate, and have put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate;
২৩আর বুকপাটার ওপরে সোনার দুটি বালা তৈরী করে দেবে এবং অবশ্যই বুকপাটার দুই মাথায় ঐ দুটি বালা বেঁধে বাঁধে দেবে।
24 and you have put the two thick bands of gold on the two rings at the ends of the breastplate;
২৪আর বুকপাটার দুই প্রান্তে অবস্থিত দুটি বালার মধ্যে পাকান সোনার ঐ দুটি শিকল রাখবে।
25 and you put the two ends of the two thick bands on the two filigrees, and you have put [them] on the shoulders of the ephod toward the front of its face.
২৫আর পাকান শিকলের দুটি শেষ প্রান্ত সেই দুটি পাতা কাটা শিকলে বেঁধে দেবে। তারপর এফোদের সামনে দুটি কাঁধের ফিতার উপরে ঐগুলি লাগিয়ে দেবে।
26 And you have made two rings of gold, and have set them on the two ends of the breastplate, on its border, which [is] toward the side of the ephod within it;
২৬তুমি অবশ্যই সোনার দুটি বালা তৈরী করে বুকপাটার দুই মাথায় এফোদের সামনের দিকে ভিতরের অংশে রাখবে।
27 and you have made two rings of gold, and have put them on the two shoulders of the ephod, from beneath, in front of its face, close by its joining, above the girdle of the ephod,
২৭তুমি আরও দুটি সোনার বলা তৈরী করবে এবং এফোদের দুই কাঁধের ফিতের নীচে এফোদের সামনের অংশে সুক্ষ্মভাবে বোনা কোমরবন্ধনীর উপরে তা লাগিয়ে দেবে।
28 and they bind the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a ribbon of blue, to be above the girdle of the ephod, and the breastplate is not loosed from the ephod.
২৮তাতে বুকপাটা যেন এফোদের সুক্ষ্মভাবে বোনা কোমরবন্ধনীর উপরে থাকে, এফোদ থেকে যেন খসে না পড়ে, এই জন্য তারা সেই বালাতে নীলসুতো দিয়ে এফোদের বালার সঙ্গে বুকপাটা বেঁধে রাখবে।
29 And Aaron has borne the names of the sons of Israel in the breastplate of judgment, on his heart, in his going into the holy place, for a memorial before YHWH continually.
২৯যখন হারোণ পবিত্র জায়গায় যাবে, তখন তিনি সদাপ্রভুর সামনে সব দিন মনে করে দেবার জন্য সে বিচারের জন্য বুকপাটাতে ইস্রায়েলের বারোটি ছেলের নাম নিজের হৃদয়ের উপরে বহন করবে।
30 And you have put the Lights and the Perfections into the breastplate of judgment, and they have been on the heart of Aaron, in his going in before YHWH, and Aaron has borne the judgment of the sons of Israel on his heart before YHWH continually.
৩০আর বিচারের জন্য সেই বুকপাটায় তুমি ঊরীম ও তুম্মীম [দীপ্তি ও সিদ্ধতা] দেবে; তাতে হারোণ যখন সদাপ্রভুর সামনে যাবে, তখন হারোণের হৃদয়ের উপরে সেই বিচারের জন্য বুকপাটা থাকবে এবং হারোণ সদাপ্রভুর সামনে ইস্রায়েলীয়দের বিচারের বুকপাটাটি সবদিন নিজের হৃদয়ের উপরে বহন করবে।
31 And you have made the upper robe of the ephod completely of blue,
৩১আর তুমি এফোদের সব পরিচ্ছদ নীল রঙের করবে।
32 and the opening for his head has been in its midst; there is a border for its opening all around—the work of a weaver—[and] there is as the opening of a [linen] habergeon for it; it is not torn.
৩২তার মাঝখানে মাথায় পরার জন্য একটি জায়গা থাকবে; গলার সেই জায়গার চারদিকে তন্তু দিয়ে শিল্পীর কাজ করা পাড় থাকবে, যাতে এটি না ছেঁড়ে।
33 And you have made on its hem pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet, on its hem all around, and bells of gold in their midst all around;
৩৩আর তুমি তার আঁচলের চারধারে নীল, বেগুনে ও লাল ডালিম করবে এবং তার চারদিকে মধ্যে মধ্যে সোনার ঘন্টা থাকবে।
34 a bell of gold and a pomegranate [and] a bell of gold and a pomegranate [are] on the hems of the upper robe all around.
৩৪ঐ পোশাকের আঁচলের চারধারে এক সোনার ঘন্টা ও একটি ডালিম এবং এক সোনার ঘন্টা ও একটি ডালিম থাকবে।
35 And it has been on Aaron to minister in, and its sound has been heard in his coming into the holy place before YHWH, and in his going out, and he does not die.
৩৫আর হারোণ পরিচর্য্যা করার জন্য সেই পোশাক পরবে; তাতে সে যখন সদাপ্রভুর সামনে পবিত্র জায়গায় প্রবেশ করবে, ও সেখান থেকে যখন বের হবে, তখন সেই ঘন্টার শব্দ শোনা যাবে; এটি হলো যাতে সে না মরে।
36 And you have made a flower of pure gold, and have engraved engravings of a signet on it: Holy to YHWH;
৩৬আর তুমি অবশ্যই খাঁটি সোনা দিয়ে একটি পাত তৈরী করবে এবং মুদ্রার মত তার ওপরে “সদাপ্রভুর উদেশ্যে পবিত্র” এই কথা খোদাই করে লিখবে।
37 and you have put it on a blue ribbon, and it has been on the turban—it is toward the front of the face of the turban;
৩৭তুমি ওই পাতটি নীলসুতো দিয়ে বেঁধে রাখবে; তা উষ্ণীষের উপরের দিকে এবং সামনের দিকে থাকবে।
38 and it has been on the forehead of Aaron, and Aaron has borne the iniquity of the holy things which the sons of Israel hallow, even all their holy gifts; and it has been on his forehead continually for a pleasing thing for them before YHWH.
৩৮আর এটি অবশ্যই হারোণের কপালের উপরে থাকবে, তাতে ইস্রায়েলীয়রা নিজেদের সব পবিত্র দানে যে সকল জিনিসগুলি পবিত্র করবে, হারোণ সেই সব পবিত্র জিনিসের অপরাধ সব দিন বহন করবে। আর তাদের উপহার যাতে সদাপ্রভু গ্রহণ করে, সেই জন্য এটি সব দিন তার কপালের উপরে থাকবে।
39 And you have embroidered the coat of linen, and have made a turban of linen, and you make a girdle—the work of an embroiderer.
৩৯আর তুমি চিত্রিত সাদা মসীনা সুতো দিয়ে অঙ্গরক্ষিণী বুনবে এবং তুমি সাদা মসীনা সুতো দিয়ে উষ্ণীষ তৈরী করবে; তুমি কোমরবন্ধনীর মত একই জিনিস দিয়ে শিল্প কাজ করবে।
40 And you make coats for the sons of Aaron, and you have made girdles for them, and you make caps for them, for glory and for beauty;
৪০আর হারোণের ছেলেদের জন্য অঙ্গ রক্ষার পোশাক ও কোমরবন্ধনী তৈরী করবে এবং চমত্কার ও সম্মানের জন্য শিরোভূষণ করে দেবে।
41 and you have clothed your brother Aaron with them, and his sons with him, and have anointed them, and have consecrated their hand, and have sanctified them, and they have been priests to Me.
৪১আর তুমি তোমার ভাই হারোণ ও তার সঙ্গে তার ছেলেদের গায়ে সেই সব পোশাক পরাবে। তুমি তাদের অভিষেক করবে এবং তাদেরকে পবিত্র করে আমার জন্য সংরক্ষণ করবে, যাতে তারা যাজকের কাজ করে আমাকে সেবা করে।
42 And make linen trousers for them to cover the naked flesh; they are from the loins even to the thighs;
৪২তুমি তাদের উলঙ্গতা আচ্ছাদন করার জন্য কোমর থেকে উরু পর্যন্ত মসীনা সুতোর জাঙ্গিয়া তৈরী করবে।
43 and they have been on Aaron and on his sons in their going into the Tent of Meeting, or in their drawing near to the altar to minister in the holy place, and they do not bear iniquity nor have they died; [it is] a continuous statute to him and to his seed after him.”
৪৩আর যখন হারোণ ও তার ছেলেরা সমাগম তাঁবুতে ঢুকবে অথবা পবিত্র স্থানে সেবা কাজ করার জন্য বেদির কাছে যাবে তখন তারা এই পোশাক অবশ্যই পরবে, যাতে তারা কোনো অপরাধ বয়ে না মরে যায়। এটা একটা হারোণ ও তার পরবর্তী বংশের জন্য চিরকালের ব্যবস্থা হবে।
