< Exodus 24 >
1 And He said to Moses, “Come up to YHWH, you, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy from [the] elderly of Israel, and you have bowed yourselves far off”;
Moses taengah, “Namah neh Aaron, Nadab, Abihu neh Israel khuikah a hamrhoek sawmrhihte BOEIPA taengah ha mop lamtah lakhla la bakop uh saeh.
2 and Moses has drawn near to YHWH by himself; and they do not draw near, and the people do not go up with him.
Tedae Moses amah bueng te BOEIPA taengah mop saeh. Amihte mop uh boel saeh lamtah pilnam khaw a taengla cet uh boel saeh,” a ti nah.
3 And Moses comes in, and recounts to the people all the words of YHWH, and all the judgments, and all the people answer [with] one voice, and say, “All the words which YHWH has spoken we do.”
Te phoeiah Moseste cet tih BOEIPA ol boeih neh laitloeknah boeih te pilnam taengaha thui pah. Pilnam pum loh ol pakhatlaa doo uh tih, “BOEIPAloh a thui ol te boeih ngai uh sih,” a ti uh.
4 And Moses writes all the words of YHWH, and rises early in the morning, and builds an altar under the hill, and twelve standing pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel;
Moses loh BOEIPA ol te boeiha daek. Mincang ah thoo tih tlang hmuiah hmueihtuk neh Israel koca hlai nit kah kaam hlai nita suem.
5 and he sends the youths of the sons of Israel, and they cause burnt-offerings to ascend, and sacrifice sacrifices of peace-offerings to YHWH—calves.
Te phoeiah Israel ca cadong tea tueih tih hmueihhlutnah te a khuen uh. Te vaengah BOEIPA taengah rhoepnah hmueih la vaitoa nawn uh.
6 And Moses takes half of the blood and puts [it] in basins, and he has sprinkled half of the blood on the altar;
Moses loh thii rhakthuem te a loh tih baeldung dongaha khueh tih thii rhakthuemte hmueihtuka haeh thil.
7 and he takes the Scroll of the Covenant, and proclaims [it] in the ears of the people, and they say, “All that which YHWH has spoken we do, and we obey.”
Te phoeiah paipi cabua loh tih pilnam kah hna aha tae. Te dongah, “BOEIPA kah a thui boeih te ka saii uh vetih ka hnatun uh bitni,” a ti uh.
8 And Moses takes the blood and sprinkles [it] on the people, and says, “Behold, the blood of the covenant which YHWH has made with you, concerning all these things.”
Te phoeiah Moses loh thii tea loh tih pilnama haeh thil. Te vaengah, “Paipi thii he BOEIPA loh he ol cungkuem neh nangmih taengaha saii coeng ne,” a ti.
9 And Moses goes up, Aaron also, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy from [the] elderly of Israel,
Te phoeiah Moses neh Aaron, Nadab neh Abihu neh Israel kah a hamca sawmrhih rhoek te koep cet uh.
10 and they see the God of Israel, and under His feet [is] as the work of a pavement of sapphire, and as the substance of the heavens for purity;
Te vaengah Israel Pathen kah a kho hmuite minhum laiboeng kutngo bangla, vaan khocil phek laa hmuh uh.
11 and He has not put forth His hand to those of the sons of Israel who are near, and they see God, and eat and drink.
Tedae Israel ca hlangcong rhoek te a kut thueng thil pawh. Te dongah Pathena hmuh uh lalaha caak uh tiha ok uh bal pueng.
12 And YHWH says to Moses, “Come up to Me [on] the mountain and be there, and I give to you the tablets of stone, and the Law, and the command, which I have written to direct them.”
Te phoeiah BOEIPA loh Moses te, “Tlang soah kamah taengla ha luei lamtah pahoi om laeh. Amih thuinuet ham olkhueng neh olpaek ka daek thil lungto cabael te nang taengah kam pae eh?,” a ti nah.
13 And Moses rises—his minister Joshua also—and Moses goes up to the mountain of God;
Te dongah Moses neh a taengah aka thotat Joshua tah thoo tih Moseste Pathen kah tlang dongla luei.
14 and he has said to the elderly, “Abide for us in this [place] until we return to you, and behold, Aaron and Hur [are] with you—he who has matters comes near to them.”
A hamcarhoek te khaw, “Nangmih taengla ka mael hil he ah he kai n'rhing uh. Aaron neh Hur khaw nangmih taengah om ngawn he ne. U khaw Olka dongah laikung long tah amih rhoi taengla mop saeh,” a ti nah.
15 And Moses goes up to the mountain, and the cloud covers the mountain;
Moseste tlang laa luei van neh cingmai loh tlang tea thing.
16 and the glory of YHWH dwells on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covers it [for] six days, and He calls to Moses on the seventh day from the midst of the cloud.
BOEIPA kah thangpomnah tah Sinai tlang ah pai tih cingmai loh hnin rhuka dah. A hnin rhih dongah tah Moses te cingmai khui lamloha khue.
17 And the appearance of the glory of YHWH [is] as a consuming fire on the top of the mountain, before the eyes of the sons of Israel;
BOEIPA thangpomnah mueimae khaw Israel ca rhoek kah mik ah tah tlang som aka hlawp hmai bangla tueng.
18 and Moses goes into the midst of the cloud, and goes up to the mountain, and Moses is on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
Te vaengah Moseste cingmai khui la kun tih tlang la luei. Moseste tlangah khothaih sawmli neh khoyin sawmli om.
