< Exodus 22 >
1 When a man steals an ox or sheep, and has slaughtered it or sold it, he repays [with] five of the herd for the ox, and four of the flock for the sheep.
Haddii nin dibi ama lax xado, oo uu qasho ama iibiyo, waa inuu shan dibi dibigii ku magdhabo, laxdiina afar laxaad.
2 If in the breaking through, the thief is found, and he has been struck and has died, there is no blood for him;
Haddii tuug la helo isagoo guri u dhacaya, oo inta wax lagu dhufto uu dhinto, markaas kii dilay dhiig eed kuma laha.
3 if the sun has risen on him, blood [is] for him, he certainly repays; if he has nothing, then he has been sold for his theft;
Haddiise qorraxdu u soo baxdo, markaas dhiigga eed buu ku leeyahay. Waa inuu u soo celiyaa, hadduusanse waxba haysan, de markaas waa in isaga la iibiyaa tuugnimadiisii aawadeed.
4 if the theft is certainly found alive in his hand, whether ox, or donkey, or sheep—he repays double.
Haddiise wuxuu xaday iyagoo nool gacantiisa laga helo, ama dibi ha noqdo amase dameer, amase lax, waa inuu labanlaab u bixiyaa.
5 When a man depastures a field or vineyard, and has sent out his beast, and it has pastured in the field of another, he repays [with] the best of his field, and the best of his vineyard.
Haddii nin beer canab ah ama beer kale xoolo daajiyo, oo uu neefkiisa ku sii daayo si uu nin kale beertiis u daaqo, de markaas waa inuu meesha beertiisa ugu wanaagsan iyo meesha beertiisa canabka ah ugu wanaagsan ugu magdhabaa.
6 When fire goes forth and has found thorns, and a stack, or the standing grain, or the field has been consumed, he who causes the burning certainly repays.
Haddii dab baxo, oo uu qodxanta qabsado, oo uu wada gubo xidhmooyinka sarreenka ah ama sarreenka weli baalka ku yaal, ama beerta oo dhan, markaas kii dabka shiday waa inuu magdhabaa.
7 When a man gives silver or vessels to his neighbor to keep, and it has been stolen out of the man’s house; if the thief is found, he repays double.
Haddii nin deriskiisa lacag ama alaab ammaano ugu dhiibto, oo ninka gurigiisii laga xado, oo markaas tuuggii la helo, waa inuu labanlaab u magdhabaa.
8 If the thief is not found, then the master of the house has been brought near to God [to see] whether he has not put forth his hand against the work of his neighbor.
Haddiise aan tuuggii la helin, markaas waa in ninkii guriga lahaa xaakinnada u soo dhowaadaa si loo caddeeyo inuu alaabtii deriskiisa fartiisa saaray iyo in kale.
9 For every matter of transgression, for ox, for donkey, for sheep, for raiment, for any lost thing of which it is said that it is his, the matter of them both comes to God; he whom God condemns repays double to his neighbor.
Waayo, wax kasta oo xadgudub ah ama ha noqdo dibi aawadiis, ama dameer aawadiis, ama lax aawadeed, ama dhar aawadiis, ama wax kasta oo baadi ah, haddii la leeyahay, Waa kan, waa in labada qolo arrintooda xaakinnada la hor keenaa. Oo midkii xaakinnadu ku xukumaan waa inuu deriskiisa labanlaab ugu magdhabaa.
10 When a man gives to his neighbor a donkey, or ox, or sheep, or any beast to keep, and it has died, or has been hurt, or taken captive, [with] none seeing—
Haddii nin deriskiisa ammaano ugu dhiibto dameer ama dibi, ama lax amase neef uun, markaas hadduu dhinto, ama wax gaadhaan, ama la kaxaysto iyadoo aan la arkayn,
11 an oath of YHWH is between them both, that he has not put forth his hand against the work of his neighbor, and its owner has accepted, and he does not repay;
markaas waa in dhaartii Rabbiga la dhex dhigaa labadooda, si loo caddeeyo inuu fartiisa saaray xoolihii deriskiisa iyo in kale, oo kii lahaana waa inuu aqbalaa, oo waxbana loo magdhabi maayo.
12 but if it is certainly stolen from him, he repays to its owner;
Laakiinse haddii laga xado, waa inuu isagu qofkii lahaa u magdhabaa.
13 if it is certainly torn, he brings it in [as] a witness; he does not repay the torn thing.
Haddiise dugaag bakhtiisto, waa inuu marag ahaan u keenaa, oo wixii dugaaggu bakhtiistay waxba ka magdhabi maayo.
14 And when a man asks for [anything] from his neighbor, and it has been hurt or has died—its owner not being with it—he certainly repays;
Oo haddii nin deriskiisa neef ka ammaahdo, oo ay wax gaadhaan amaba uu dhinto, isagoo aan ninkii lahaa la joogin, kaasu hubaal waa inuu magdhabaa.
15 if its owner [is] with it, he does not repay—if it [is] a hired thing, it has come for its hire.
Haddiise kii lahaa la joogay, waa inuusan waxba ka magdhabin, oo hadduu kiro ahaa, kiradiisii waa laga xisaabay.
16 And when a man entices a virgin who [is] not betrothed, and has lain with her, he certainly endows her to himself for a wife;
Oo haddii nin sasabto gabadh bikrad ah oo aan doonanayn, oo uu iyada la seexdo, de markaas waa inuu yarad ka bixiyo oo uu guursadaa iyada.
17 if her father utterly refuses to give her to him, he weighs out money according to the dowry of virgins.
Haddiise aabbeheed innaba u diido inuu isaga siiyo, de markaas waa inuu bixiyaa intii gabadh bikrad ah yaradkeedu yahay.
18 You do not keep a witch alive.
Saaxirad inay sii noolaato waa inaadan u fasaxin.
19 Whoever lies with a beast is certainly put to death.
Ku alla kii neef u galmooda, hubaal waa in la dilaa.
20 He who is sacrificing to a god, except to YHWH alone, is devoted.
Kii wax u bixiya ilaah kale oo aan Rabbiga keligiis ah ahayn, kaas waa in dhammaantiis la baabbi'iyaa.
21 And you do not oppress a sojourner, nor crush him, for you have been sojourners in the land of Egypt.
Oo qariib waa inaadan xumayn, ama waa inaadan dulmin, waayo, idinba qariib baad ku ahaydeen dalkii Masar.
22 You do not afflict any widow or orphan;
Waa inaydnaan dhibin carmal, ama ilmo agoon ah.
23 if you really afflict him, surely if he cries to Me at all, I certainly hear his cry;
Oo si kasta ha noqotee haddii aad iyaga dhibtid, oo ay ii qayshadaan hubaal qayladooda waan maqli doonaa,
24 and My anger has burned, and I have slain you by the sword, and your wives have been widows, and your sons orphans.
oo aad baan u cadhoon doonaa, oo markaasaan seef idinku dili doonaa, kolkaasaa naagihiinnu waxay noqon doonaan carmallo, carruurtiinnuna agoon.
25 If you lend money [to] My poor people [who are] with you, you are not as a usurer to him; you do not lay usury on him;
Oo haddaad lacag ammaahisid dadkayga masaakiinta ah oo kula jooga, waa inaadan ku noqon sidii mid dayn ku leh ama waa inaadan waxba kor saarin.
26 if you take the garment of your neighbor in pledge at all, you return it to him during the going in of the sun:
Haddaad deriskaaga dharkiisa rahmad uga qaadatid waa inaad u celisaa intaan qorraxdu dhicin,
27 for it is his only covering, it [is] his garment for his skin; wherein does he lie down? And it has come to pass, when he cries to Me, that I have heard, for I [am] gracious.
waayo, kaasu waa kan qudh ah oo uu isa saari jiray, oo waa dharkii uu huwan jiray, oo muxuu ku seexan doonaa? Oo waxaa dhici doonta in markuu ii qayshado, aan maqli doono, waayo, anigu waan raxmad badnahay.
28 You do not revile God, and you do not curse a prince among your people.
Waa inaadan xaakinnada caayin, mid dadkaaga u taliyana ha habaarin.
29 You do not delay your fullness and your liquids; you give the firstborn of your sons to Me;
Waa inaadan ka raagin inaad wax ka bixiso midhahaaga badan iyo dheecaanka macsaraddaada. Oo curadyada dadkaagana waa inaad aniga i siisaa.
30 so you do to your ox [and] to your sheep; it is with its mother [for] seven days, on the eighth day you give it to Me.
Oo sidaas oo kalena waa inaad ka yeeshaa dibiyadaada iyo idahaaga; toddoba maalmood waa inuu hooyadiis la joogaa, maalinta siddeedaadna waa inaad ii bixisaa.
31 And you are holy men to Me, and you do not eat flesh torn in the field, you cast it to a dog.
Oo waa inaad dad quduus ah ii ahaataan, oo sidaas daraaddeed waa inaydnaan cunin hilib neef oo dugaag berrinka ku bakhtiistay, laakiinse waa inaad eeyaha u tuurtaan.
