< Exodus 15 >

1 Then Moses sings—and the sons of Israel—this song to YHWH, and they speak, saying, “I sing to YHWH, For triumphing He has triumphed; The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea.
Ngakho uMosi labako-Israyeli basebehlabelela lelihubo kuThixo: “Ngizamhlabelela uThixo ngoba uphakeme kakhulu. Ibhiza lomgadi walo ukuphosele ngamandla olwandle.
2 My strength and song is YAH, And He is become my salvation: This [is] my God, and I glorify Him; God of my father, and I exalt Him.
UThixo ungamandla ami lehubo lami; useyikusindiswa kwami. UnguNkulunkulu wami, ngizamdumisa; uNkulunkulu kababa ngizamphakamisa.
3 YHWH [is] a man of battle; YHWH [is] His Name.
UThixo ulibutho; nguThixo ibizo lakhe.
4 Chariots of Pharaoh and his force He has cast into the sea; And the choice of his captains Have sunk in the Red Sea!
Izinqola zikaFaro lempi yakhe ukuphosele ngamandla olwandle. Izikhulu zikaFaro ezithenjiweyo, zigalule oLwandle oluBomvu.
5 The depths cover them; They went down into the depths as a stone.
Inziki zamanzi zibagubuzele; batshona ekujuleni njengelitshe.
6 Your right hand, O YHWH, Has become honorable in power; Your right hand, O YHWH, Crushes an enemy.
Isandla sakho sokunene, Oh Thixo, saba lamandla obukhosi. Isandla sakho sokunene, Oh Thixo, sasihlikiza isitha.
7 And in the abundance of Your excellence You throw down Your withstanders, You send forth Your wrath—It consumes them as stubble.
Ebukhulwini bobukhosi bakho wabasakazela phansi abakuphikisayo. Wavulela ulaka lwakho oluvuthayo, lwabatshisa njengencwathi.
8 And by the wind of Your anger Waters have been heaped together; Flowings have stood as a heap; Depths have been congealed In the heart of a sea.
Ngokuphefumula kwamakhala akho amanzi aqoqana aba yinqwaba. Amanzi ageleza ngenhlokomo ema enza udonga; amanzi azikileyo ajiya enzikini yolwandle.
9 The enemy said, I pursue, I overtake; I apportion spoil; My soul is filled with them; I draw out my sword; My hand destroys them—

Kodwa wena wavuthela ngomoya wokuphefumula kwakho, ulwandle lwabasibekela. Batshona njengomnuso emanzini esabekayo.
11 Who [is] like You among the gods, O YHWH? Who [is] like You—honorable in holiness—Fearful in praises—doing wonders?
Ngubani kubonkulunkulu bonke onjengawe, Thixo? Ngubani onjengawe, olobukhosi ebungcweleni bakhe, owesabekayo ngenkazimulo, owenza izimangaliso?
12 You have stretched out Your right hand—Earth swallows them!

17 You bring them in, and plant them In a mountain of Your inheritance, A fixed place for Your dwelling You have made, O YHWH; A sanctuary, O Lord, Your hands have established;
Uzabangenisa ubahlanyele entabeni yelifa lakho, indawo, Oh Thixo, owayenzela ukuthi uhlale kuyo, indawo engcwele, Oh Thixo, eyamiswa ngezandla zakho.
18 YHWH reigns—[for] all time and forever!”
UThixo uzabusa kuze kube nini lanini.”
19 For the horse of Pharaoh has gone in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and YHWH turns back the waters of the sea on them, and the sons of Israel have gone on dry land in the midst of the sea.
Kwathi lapho amabhiza kaFaro, izinqola kanye labagadi bamabhiza sebengenile olwandle, uThixo wawabuyisa amanzi alo phezu kwabo, kodwa abako-Israyeli bona bazihambela badabula ulwandle phezu komhlabathi owomileyo.
20 And Miriam the inspired one, sister of Aaron, takes the timbrel in her hand, and all the women go out after her, with timbrels and with choruses;

26 and He says, “If you really listen to the voice of your God YHWH, and do that which is right in His eyes, and have listened to His commands, and kept all His statutes, none of the sickness which I laid on the Egyptians do I lay on you, for I, YHWH, am healing you.”
Wathi, “Nxa lilalela kakuhle ilizwi likaThixo uNkulunkulu wenu, lenze okulungileyo kuye, lilandele imilayo yakhe njalo ligcine lezimiso zakhe, kangisoze ngilehlisele iziga lezo engazehlisela amaGibhithe; ngoba nginguThixo olisilisayo.”
