Exodus 15
1 Then Moses sings—and the sons of Israel—this song to YHWH, and they speak, saying, “I sing to YHWH, For triumphing He has triumphed; The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea.
മോശെയും യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളും അന്നു യഹോവെക്കു സങ്കീൎത്തനം പാടി ചൊല്ലിയതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: ഞാൻ യഹോവെക്കു പാട്ടുപാടും, അവൻ മഹോന്നതൻ: കുതിരയെയും അതിന്മേൽ ഇരുന്നവനെയും അവൻ കടലിൽ തള്ളിയിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
2 My strength and song is YAH, And He is become my salvation: This [is] my God, and I glorify Him; God of my father, and I exalt Him.
എന്റെ ബലവും എന്റെ ഗീതവും യഹോവയത്രേ; അവൻ എനിക്കു രക്ഷയായ്തീൎന്നു. അവൻ എന്റെ ദൈവം; ഞാൻ അവനെ സ്തുതിക്കും; അവൻ എന്റെ പിതാവിൻ ദൈവം; ഞാൻ അവനെ പുകഴ്ത്തും.
3 YHWH [is] a man of battle; YHWH [is] His Name.
യഹോവ യുദ്ധവീരൻ; യഹോവ എന്നു അവന്റെ നാമം.
4 Chariots of Pharaoh and his force He has cast into the sea; And the choice of his captains Have sunk in the Red Sea!
ഫറവോന്റെ രഥങ്ങളെയും സൈന്യത്തെയും അവൻ കടലിൽ തള്ളിയിട്ടു; അവന്റെ രഥിപ്രവരന്മാർ ചെങ്കടലിൽ മുങ്ങിപ്പോയി.
5 The depths cover them; They went down into the depths as a stone.
ആഴി അവരെ മൂടി; അവർ കല്ലുപോലെ ആഴത്തിൽ താണു.
6 Your right hand, O YHWH, Has become honorable in power; Your right hand, O YHWH, Crushes an enemy.
യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ ബലത്തിൽ മഹത്വപ്പെട്ടു; യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ ശത്രുവിനെ തകൎത്തുകളഞ്ഞു.
7 And in the abundance of Your excellence You throw down Your withstanders, You send forth Your wrath—It consumes them as stubble.
നീ എതിരാളികളെ മഹാപ്രഭാവത്താൽ സംഹരിക്കുന്നു; നീ നിന്റെ ക്രോധം അയക്കുന്നു; അതു അവരെ താളടിയെപ്പോലെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
8 And by the wind of Your anger Waters have been heaped together; Flowings have stood as a heap; Depths have been congealed In the heart of a sea.
നിന്റെ മൂക്കിലെ ശ്വാസത്താൽ വെള്ളം കുന്നിച്ചുകൂടി; പ്രവാഹങ്ങൾ ചിറപോലെ നിന്നു; ആഴങ്ങൾ കടലിന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ ഉറെച്ചുപോയി.
9 The enemy said, I pursue, I overtake; I apportion spoil; My soul is filled with them; I draw out my sword; My hand destroys them—
ഞാൻ പിന്തുടരും, പിടിക്കും, കൊള്ള പങ്കിടും; എന്റെ ആശ അവരാൽ പൂൎത്തിയാകും; ഞാൻ എന്റെ വാൾ ഊരും; എന്റെ കൈ അവരെ നിഗ്രഹിക്കും എന്നു ശത്രു പറഞ്ഞു.
10 You have blown with Your wind The sea has covered them; They sank as lead in mighty waters.
നിന്റെ കാറ്റിനെ നീ ഊതിച്ചു, കടൽ അവരെ മൂടി; അവർ ഈയംപോലെ പെരുവെള്ളത്തിൽ താണു.
11 Who [is] like You among the gods, O YHWH? Who [is] like You—honorable in holiness—Fearful in praises—doing wonders?
യഹോവേ, ദേവന്മാരിൽ നിനക്കു തുല്യൻ ആർ? വിശുദ്ധിയിൽ മഹിമയുള്ളവനേ, സ്തുതികളിൽ ഭയങ്കരനേ, അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ പ്രവൎത്തിക്കുന്നവനേ, നിനക്കു തുല്യൻ ആർ?
12 You have stretched out Your right hand—Earth swallows them!
നീ വലങ്കൈ നീട്ടി, ഭൂമി അവരെ വിഴുങ്ങി.
13 You have led forth in Your kindness The people whom You have redeemed. You have led on in Your strength To Your holy habitation.
നീ വീണ്ടെടുത്ത ജനത്തെ ദയയാൽ നടത്തി; നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനിവാസത്തിലേക്കു നിന്റെ ബലത്താൽ അവരെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.
14 Peoples have heard, they are troubled; Pain has seized inhabitants of Philistia.
ജാതികൾ കേട്ടു നടങ്ങുന്നു. ഫെലിസ്ത്യനിവാസികൾക്കു ഭീതിപിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
15 Then chiefs of Edom have been troubled; Mighty ones of Moab—Trembling seizes them! All inhabitants of Canaan have melted!
എദോമ്യപ്രഭുക്കന്മാർ ഭ്രമിച്ചു; മോവാബ്യമുമ്പന്മാൎക്കു കമ്പം പിടിച്ചു; കനാന്യനിവാസികളെല്ലാം ഉരുകിപ്പോകുന്നു.
16 Terror and dread fall on them; By the greatness of Your arm They are still as a stone, Until Your people pass over, O YHWH; Until the people pass over Whom You have purchased.
ഭയവും ഭീതിയും അവരുടെമേൽ വീണു, നിൻഭുജമാഹാത്മ്യത്താൽ അവർ കല്ലുപോലെ ആയി; അങ്ങനെ, യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ജനം കടന്നു, നീ സമ്പാദിച്ച ജനം കടന്നു പോയി.
17 You bring them in, and plant them In a mountain of Your inheritance, A fixed place for Your dwelling You have made, O YHWH; A sanctuary, O Lord, Your hands have established;
നീ അവരെ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്നൊരുക്കിയ സ്ഥാനത്തു, യഹോവേ, നിന്നവകാശപൎവ്വതത്തിൽ നീ അവരെ നട്ടു, കൎത്താവേ, തൃക്കൈ സ്ഥാപിച്ച വിശുദ്ധ മന്ദിരത്തിങ്കൽ തന്നേ.
18 YHWH reigns—[for] all time and forever!”
യഹോവ എന്നും എന്നേക്കും രാജാവായി വാഴും.
19 For the horse of Pharaoh has gone in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and YHWH turns back the waters of the sea on them, and the sons of Israel have gone on dry land in the midst of the sea.
എന്നാൽ ഫറവോന്റെ കുതിര അവന്റെ രഥവും കുതിരപ്പടയുമായി കടലിന്റെ നടുവിൽ ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നപ്പോൾ യഹോവ കടലിലെ വെള്ളം അവരുടെ മേൽ മടക്കി വരുത്തി; യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോ കടലിന്റെ നടുവിൽ ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലത്തുകൂടി കടന്നുപോന്നു.
20 And Miriam the inspired one, sister of Aaron, takes the timbrel in her hand, and all the women go out after her, with timbrels and with choruses;
അഹരോന്റെ സഹോദരി മിൎയ്യാം എന്ന പ്രവാചകി കയ്യിൽ തപ്പു എടുത്തു, സ്ത്രീകൾ എല്ലാവരും തപ്പുകളോടും നൃത്തങ്ങളോടും കൂടെ അവളുടെ പിന്നാലെ ചെന്നു.
21 and Miriam answers to them: “Sing to YHWH, For triumphing He has triumphed; The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!”
മിൎയ്യാം അവരോടും പ്രതിഗാനമായി ചൊല്ലിയതു: യഹോവെക്കു പാട്ടുപാടുവിൻ, അവൻ മഹോന്നതൻ: കുതിരയെയും അതിന്മേൽ ഇരുന്നവനെയും അവൻ കടലിൽ തള്ളിയിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
22 And Moses causes Israel to journey from the Red Sea, and they go out to the wilderness of Shur, and they go three days in the wilderness, and have not found water,
അനന്തരം മോശെ യിസ്രായേലിനെ ചെങ്കടലിൽനിന്നു പ്രയാണം ചെയ്യിച്ചു; അവർ ശൂർമരുഭൂമിയിൽ ചെന്നു, മൂന്നു ദിവസം മരുഭൂമിയിൽ വെള്ളം കിട്ടാതെ സഞ്ചരിച്ചു.
23 and they come to Marah, and have not been able to drink the waters of Marah, for they [are] bitter; therefore [one] has called its name Marah.
മാറയിൽ എത്തിയാറെ, മാറയിലെ വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പാൻ അവൎക്കു കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല; അതു കൈപ്പുള്ളതായിരുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ടു അതിന്നു മാറാ എന്നു പേരിട്ടു.
24 And the people murmur against Moses, saying, “What do we drink?”
അപ്പോൾ ജനം: ഞങ്ങൾ എന്തു കുടിക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു മോശെയുടെ നേരെ പിറുപിറുത്തു.
25 And he cries to YHWH, and YHWH shows him a tree, and he casts [it] into the waters, and the waters become sweet. He has made a statute for them there, and an ordinance, and He has tried them there,
അവൻ യഹോവയോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു; യഹോവ അവന്നു ഒരു വൃക്ഷം കാണിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു. അവൻ അതു വെള്ളത്തിൽ ഇട്ടപ്പോൾ വെള്ളം മധുരമായി തീൎന്നു. അവിടെവെച്ചു അവൻ അവൎക്കു ഒരു ചട്ടവും പ്രമാണവും നിയമിച്ചു; അവിടെവെച്ചു അവൻ അവരെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു:
26 and He says, “If you really listen to the voice of your God YHWH, and do that which is right in His eyes, and have listened to His commands, and kept all His statutes, none of the sickness which I laid on the Egyptians do I lay on you, for I, YHWH, am healing you.”
നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ വാക്കു നീ ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ കേട്ടു അവന്നു പ്രസാദമുള്ളതു ചെയ്കയും അവന്റെ കല്പനകളെ അനുസരിച്ചു അവന്റെ സകലവിധികളും പ്രമാണിക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ ഞാൻ മിസ്രയീമ്യൎക്കു വരുത്തിയ വ്യാധികളിൽ ഒന്നും നിനക്കു വരുത്തുകയില്ല; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കുന്ന യഹോവ ആകുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.
27 And they come to Elim, and there [are] twelve fountains of water, and seventy palm trees; and they encamp there by the waters.
പിന്നെ അവർ ഏലീമിൽ എത്തി; അവിടെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു നീരുറവും എഴുപതു ഈത്തപ്പനയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവർ അവിടെ വെള്ളത്തിന്നരികെ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.
