Exodus 15
1 Then Moses sings—and the sons of Israel—this song to YHWH, and they speak, saying, “I sing to YHWH, For triumphing He has triumphed; The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea.
तब मोशेह तथा इस्राएलियों ने याहवेह के लिए यह गीत गाया: “मैं याहवेह के लिए गीत गाऊंगा, क्योंकि वे अति महान परमेश्वर हैं. घोड़ों एवं चालकों को उन्होंने समुद्र में डाल दिया.
2 My strength and song is YAH, And He is become my salvation: This [is] my God, and I glorify Him; God of my father, and I exalt Him.
“याहवेह मेरा बल और मेरा गीत हैं, वही मेरा उद्धार बना हैं. यही हैं मेरे परमेश्वर, मैं उनकी स्तुति करूंगा; मेरे पिता के परमेश्वर, उनकी मैं प्रशंसा करूंगा,
3 YHWH [is] a man of battle; YHWH [is] His Name.
याहवेह योद्धा हैं और उनका नाम याहवेह है.
4 Chariots of Pharaoh and his force He has cast into the sea; And the choice of his captains Have sunk in the Red Sea!
याहवेह ने फ़रोह के रथों एवं उसकी सेना को समुद्र में फेंक दिया; उसके सभी अधिकारी लाल सागर में डूब गए,
5 The depths cover them; They went down into the depths as a stone.
वे पत्थर के समान गहराइयों में डूब गये, और गहरा पानी ने उन्हें ढंक दिया.
6 Your right hand, O YHWH, Has become honorable in power; Your right hand, O YHWH, Crushes an enemy.
हे याहवेह, आपका दायां हाथ सामर्थ्य से भरा है. और आपका बायां हाथ शत्रु को चूर-चूर कर देता है.
7 And in the abundance of Your excellence You throw down Your withstanders, You send forth Your wrath—It consumes them as stubble.
“शत्रुओं को अपने बड़े पराक्रम से आप पराजित कर देते हैं, जो आपके विरुद्ध सिर उठाते हैं; आप उन पर अपना क्रोध प्रकट करते हैं. और उन्हें भूसे के समान जला देते है.
8 And by the wind of Your anger Waters have been heaped together; Flowings have stood as a heap; Depths have been congealed In the heart of a sea.
आपके नथुनों की सांस से समुद्र का जल इकट्ठा हो गया और जल का बहाव रुक जाता है. बढ़ता पानी दीवार की तरह उठ खड़ा हुआ, समुद्र के हृदय में गहरा जल जमा हो गया!
9 The enemy said, I pursue, I overtake; I apportion spoil; My soul is filled with them; I draw out my sword; My hand destroys them—
शत्रु ने कहा था, ‘मैं पीछा करूंगा, मैं उन्हें पकड़ लूंगा और लूटकर चीज़ों को बांट लूंगा तब मुझे तसल्ली मिलेगी, मैं तलवार निकालूंगा और अपने हाथ से उन्हें नष्ट कर दूंगा.’
10 You have blown with Your wind The sea has covered them; They sank as lead in mighty waters.
आपने अपना सांस फूंका तब सागर ने उन्हें ढंक लिया. वे महा समुद्र में सीसे के समान डूब गए.
11 Who [is] like You among the gods, O YHWH? Who [is] like You—honorable in holiness—Fearful in praises—doing wonders?
हे याहवेह, देवताओं में आपके तुल्य कौन है? कौन है आपके समान, पवित्रता में सर्वोपरि, स्तुति के योग्य और अनोखे काम करनेवाले?
12 You have stretched out Your right hand—Earth swallows them!
“आपने अपना दायां हाथ बढ़ाया और पृथ्वी ने उन्हें निगल लिया.
13 You have led forth in Your kindness The people whom You have redeemed. You have led on in Your strength To Your holy habitation.
आपने अपनी कृपा से छुड़ाए हुए लोगों को चलाया, आप अपने सामर्थ्य से उन्हें अपनी पवित्रता के स्थान में ले गए.
14 Peoples have heard, they are troubled; Pain has seized inhabitants of Philistia.
देश-देश के लोग यह सब सुनकर घबरा जाएंगे; फिलिस्तीनियों पर डर छा जाएगा,
15 Then chiefs of Edom have been troubled; Mighty ones of Moab—Trembling seizes them! All inhabitants of Canaan have melted!
एदोम के प्रधान निराश हो जायेंगे; मोआब के ताकतवर कांपने लगेंगे; कनान के निवासी उदास हो जाएंगे.
16 Terror and dread fall on them; By the greatness of Your arm They are still as a stone, Until Your people pass over, O YHWH; Until the people pass over Whom You have purchased.
याहवेह, जब तक आपकी प्रजा वहां से निकल न जाए, जब तक आपके द्वारा बचाये हुए लोग वहां से आ न जाए तब तक उनमें डर बना रहेगा; आपके बाहों की ताकत से वे अब पत्थर समान बन जाएंगे;
17 You bring them in, and plant them In a mountain of Your inheritance, A fixed place for Your dwelling You have made, O YHWH; A sanctuary, O Lord, Your hands have established;
आप उन्हें लाकर अपने पहाड़ पर बसाएंगे. उस स्थान पर, हे याहवेह, जो आपने अपने लिए अलग किया है; वही पवित्र स्थान, जिसे आपने अपने हाथों से बनाया है.
18 YHWH reigns—[for] all time and forever!”
“याहवेह का राज्य सदा-सर्वदा स्थिर रहेगा.”
19 For the horse of Pharaoh has gone in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and YHWH turns back the waters of the sea on them, and the sons of Israel have gone on dry land in the midst of the sea.
जब फ़रोह के घोड़े, उसके रथों तथा चालकों के साथ सब समुद्र में डूब गए और याहवेह समुद्र के जल को उनके ऊपर ले आए—लेकिन इस्राएली समुद्र के बीच से सूखी भूमि पर चलते हुए निकल गए.
20 And Miriam the inspired one, sister of Aaron, takes the timbrel in her hand, and all the women go out after her, with timbrels and with choruses;
तब अहरोन की बहन मिरियम ने, जो नबिया थी, खंजरी उठाई और उसके साथ सभी स्त्रियां अपने-अपने हाथों में खंजरी लेकर नाचने लगीं.
21 and Miriam answers to them: “Sing to YHWH, For triumphing He has triumphed; The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!”
मिरियम खुशी से गाने लगी, “याहवेह का गीत गाओ, क्योंकि वे अति महान हैं; उन्होंने तो घोड़ों को चालकों सहित समुद्र में डूबा दिया.”
22 And Moses causes Israel to journey from the Red Sea, and they go out to the wilderness of Shur, and they go three days in the wilderness, and have not found water,
फिर मोशेह इस्राएलियों को लाल सागर से शूर के निर्जन देश में ले गए. वे तीन दिन पानी ढूंढ़ते रहे, किंतु उन्हें कहीं भी पानी का सोता नहीं दिखा.
23 and they come to Marah, and have not been able to drink the waters of Marah, for they [are] bitter; therefore [one] has called its name Marah.
वे माराह नामक स्थान पर पहुंचे, किंतु माराह का पानी कड़वा था; इस कारण इस स्थान का नाम माराह पड़ा;
24 And the people murmur against Moses, saying, “What do we drink?”
इसलिये लोग मोशेह पर बड़बड़ाने लगे. वे कहने लगे, “हम क्या पिएंगे?”
25 And he cries to YHWH, and YHWH shows him a tree, and he casts [it] into the waters, and the waters become sweet. He has made a statute for them there, and an ordinance, and He has tried them there,
मोशेह ने याहवेह को पुकारा और याहवेह ने उन्हें एक लकड़ी का टुकड़ा दिखाया. जब मोशेह ने उस पेड़ को पानी में डाला, पानी मीठा बन गया. उसी जगह याहवेह ने उनके लिए एक नियम और विधि बनाई.
26 and He says, “If you really listen to the voice of your God YHWH, and do that which is right in His eyes, and have listened to His commands, and kept all His statutes, none of the sickness which I laid on the Egyptians do I lay on you, for I, YHWH, am healing you.”
याहवेह ने उनसे कहा, “यदि तुम याहवेह, तुम्हारे परमेश्वर के वचन को पूरे मन से मानोगे और सही काम करोगे, उनकी बातों पर ध्यान दोगे तथा उनके सब नियमों को मानोगे तो मिस्रियों के साथ घटित, ऐसी कोई परेशानी तुम पर नहीं आने दूंगा; क्योंकि मैं याहवेह राफ़ा हूं, अर्थात् चंगा करनेवाला हूं.”
27 And they come to Elim, and there [are] twelve fountains of water, and seventy palm trees; and they encamp there by the waters.
तब वे एलिम नामक स्थान पर पहुंचे, जहां बारह झरने तथा सत्तर खजूर के पेड़ थे. इस्राएलियों ने जल के स्रोतों के पास ही अपना पड़ाव डाला.
