Exodus 12
1 And YHWH speaks to Moses and to Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,
| خداوند در سرزمین مصر به موسی و هارون فرمود: |
2 “This month [is] the chief of months to you—it [is] the first of the months of the year to you;
| «از این پس باید این ماه برای شما اولین و مهمترین ماه سال باشد. |
3 speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth of this month they take to themselves, each man, a lamb for the house of the fathers, a lamb for a house.
| پس به تمام قوم اسرائیل بگویید که هر سال در روز دهم همین ماه، هر خانواده‌ای از ایشان یک بره یا یک بزغاله تهیه کند. طوری که یک حیوان برای یک خانواده باشد. |
4 And if the household is too few for a lamb, then he has taken, he and his neighbor who is near to his house, for the number of persons, each according to his eating you count for the lamb.
| اگر تعداد افراد خانواده‌ای کم باشد می‌تواند با خانوادهٔ کوچکی در همسایگی خود شریک شود، یعنی هر خانواده به تعداد افرادش به همان مقداری که خوراکش می‌باشد، سهم قیمت بره را بپردازد. |
5 A lamb, a perfect one, a male, a son of a year, let [it] be to you; you take [it] from the sheep or from the goats.
| این حیوان، خواه گوسفند و خواه بز، باید نر و یک ساله و بی‌عیب باشد. |
6 And it has become a charge to you, until the fourteenth day of this month, and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel has slaughtered it between the evenings;
| «از این حیوان خاص تا عصر روز چهاردهم این ماه خوب مراقبت کنید. سپس همهٔ قوم اسرائیل بره‌های خود را ذبح کنند. |
7 and they have taken of the blood, and have put [it] on the two doorposts, and on the lintel over the houses in which they eat it.
| و خون آنها را روی تیرهای عمودی دو طرف در و سر در خانه‌هایشان که در آن گوشت بره را می‌خورند، بپاشند. |
8 And they have eaten the flesh in this night, a roast with fire; they eat it with unleavened things and bitters;
| در همان شب، گوشت را بریان کنند و با نان فطیر (نان بدون خمیرمایه) و سبزیهای تلخ بخورند. |
9 you do not eat of it raw, or boiled in water at all, but a roast with fire, its head with its legs, and with its innards;
| گوشت را نباید خام یا آب‌پز بخورند، بلکه همه را بریان کنند حتی کله و پاچه و دل و جگر آن را. |
10 and you do not leave of it until morning, and that which is remaining of it until morning you burn with fire.
| تمام گوشت باید تا صبح خورده شود، و اگر چیزی از آن باقی ماند آن را بسوزانند. |
11 And thus you eat it: your loins girded, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand, and you have eaten it in haste; it is YHWH’s Passover,
| «قبل از خوردن بره، کفش به پا کنید، چوبدستی به دست گیرید و خود را برای سفر آماده کنید، و بره را با عجله بخورید. این آیین، پِسَح خداوند خوانده خواهد شد. |
12 and I have passed over through the land of Egypt during this night, and have struck every firstborn in the land of Egypt, from man even to beast, and I do judgments on all the gods of Egypt; I [am] YHWH.
| چون من که خداوند هستم، امشب از سرزمین مصر گذر خواهم کرد و تمام پسران نخست‌زادۀ مصری‌ها و همهٔ نخست‌زاده‌های حیوانات ایشان را هلاک خواهم نمود و خدایان آنها را مجازات خواهم کرد. |
13 And the blood has become a sign for you on the houses where you [are], and I have seen the blood, and have passed over you, and a plague is not on you for destruction in My striking in the land of Egypt.
| خونی که شما روی تیرهای در خانه‌های خود می‌پاشید، نشانه‌ای بر خانه‌هایتان خواهد بود. من وقتی خون را ببینم از شما خواهم گذشت و فقط مصری‌ها را هلاک می‌کنم. |
14 And this day has become a memorial to you, and you have kept it [for] a celebration to YHWH throughout your generations—a continuous statute; you keep it [for] a celebration.
| «هر سال به یادبود این واقعه برای خداوند جشن بگیرید. این آیین تا ابد برای تمام نسلهای آینده خواهد بود. |
15 Seven days you eat unleavened things; only—in the first day you cause leaven to cease out of your houses; for anyone eating anything fermented from the first day until the seventh day, indeed, that person has been cut off from Israel.
| در این جشن که هفت روز طول می‌کشد باید فقط نان فطیر بخورید. در روز اول، خمیرمایه را از خانهٔ خود بیرون ببرید، زیرا اگر کسی در مدت این هفت روز نان خمیرمایه‌دار بخورد از میان قوم اسرائیل منقطع خواهد شد. |
16 And in the first day [is] a holy convocation, and in the seventh day you have a holy convocation; any work is not done in them, only that which is eaten by any person—it alone is done by you,
| در روز اول و هفتم این جشن، باید تمام قوم به طور دسته جمعی خدا را عبادت کنند. در این دو روز به‌جز تهیهٔ خوراک کار دیگری نکنید. |
17 and you have observed the Unleavened Things, for in this very day I have brought out your hosts from the land of Egypt, and you have observed this day throughout your generations—a continuous statute.
| «این عید که همراه نان فطیر جشن گرفته می‌شود، به شما یادآوری خواهد کرد که من در چنین روزی شما را از مصر بیرون آوردم. پس برگزاری این جشن بر شما و نسلهای آیندهٔ شما تا به ابد واجب خواهد بود. |
18 In the first [month], on the fourteenth day of the month, in the evening, you eat unleavened things until the twenty-first day of the month, at evening;
| از غروب روز چهاردهم تا غروب روز بیست و یکم این ماه باید نان بدون خمیرمایه بخورید. |
19 seven days leaven is not found in your houses, for anyone eating anything fermented—that person has been cut off from the congregation of Israel, among the sojourners or among the natives of the land;
| در این هفت روز نباید اثری از خمیرمایه در خانه‌های شما باشد. در این مدت اگر کسی نان خمیرمایه‌دار بخورد، باید از میان قوم اسرائیل منقطع شود. رعایت این قوانین حتی برای غریبه‌ها نیز که در میان شما ساکن هستند واجب خواهد بود. |
20 you do not eat anything fermented—in all your dwellings you eat [only] unleavened things.”
| باز تأکید می‌کنم که در این هفت روز نان خمیرمایه‌دار نخورید. فقط نان فطیر بخورید.» |
21 And Moses calls for all [the] elderly of Israel and says to them, “Draw out and take for yourselves [from] the flock, for your families, and slaughter the Passover-sacrifice;
| آنگاه موسی، مشایخ قوم را نزد خود خواند و به ایشان گفت: «بروید و بره‌هایی برای خانواده‌هایتان بگیرید و برای عید پِسَح آنها را قربانی کنید. |
22 and you have taken a bunch of hyssop, and have dipped [it] in the blood which [is] in the basin, and have struck [it] on the lintel, and on the two doorposts, from the blood which [is] in the basin, and you, you do not go out—each from the opening of his house—until morning.
| خون بره را در یک تشت بریزید و بعد با گیاه زوفا خون را روی تیرهای دو طرف در و سر در خانه‌هایتان بپاشید. هیچ‌کدام از شما نباید در آن شب از خانه بیرون رود. |
23 And YHWH has passed on to strike the Egyptians, and has seen the blood on the lintel, and on the two doorposts, and YHWH has passed over the opening, and does not permit the destruction to come into your houses to strike.
| آن شب خداوند از سرزمین مصر عبور خواهد کرد تا مصری‌ها را بکشد. ولی وقتی خون را روی تیرهای دو طرف در و سر در خانه‌هایتان ببیند از آنجا می‌گذرد و به”هلاک کننده“اجازه نمی‌دهد که وارد خانه‌هایتان شده، شما را بکشد. |
24 And you have observed this thing for a statute to you and to your sons for all time;
| برگزاری این مراسم برای شما و فرزندانتان یک فریضۀ ابدی خواهد بود. |
25 and it has been, when you come to the land which YHWH gives to you as He has spoken, that you have kept this service;
| وقتی به آن سرزمینی که خداوند وعدهٔ آن را به شما داده، وارد شدید، عید پِسَح را جشن بگیرید. |
26 and it has come to pass, when your sons say to you, What [is] this service you have?
| هرگاه فرزندانتان مناسبت این جشن را از شما بپرسند، |
27 That you have said, It [is] a sacrifice of Passover to YHWH, who passed over the houses of the sons of Israel in Egypt, in His striking the Egyptians, and our houses He delivered.”
| بگویید: عید پِسَح را برای خداوند به مناسبت آن شبی جشن می‌گیریم که او از مصر عبور کرده، مصری‌ها را کشت، ولی وقتی به خانه‌های ما اسرائیلی‌ها رسید از آنها گذشت و به ما آسیبی نرساند.» قوم اسرائیل روی بر خاک نهاده، خداوند را سجده نمودند. |
28 And the people bow and pay respect, and the sons of Israel go and do as YHWH commanded Moses and Aaron; so they have done.
| سپس همان‌طور که خداوند به موسی و هارون دستور داده بود، عمل کردند. |
29 And it comes to pass, at midnight, that YHWH has struck every firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who is sitting on his throne, to the firstborn of the captive who [is] in the prison-house, and every firstborn of beasts.
| نیمه‌شب، خداوند تمام پسران نخست‌زادۀ مصر را کشت، از پسر فرعون که جانشین او بود گرفته تا پسر غلامی که در سیاهچال زندانی بود. او حتی تمام نخست‌زاده‌های حیوانات ایشان را نیز از بین برد. |
30 And Pharaoh rises by night, he and all his servants, and all the Egyptians, and there is a great cry in Egypt, for there is not a house where there is not [one] dead,
| در آن شب فرعون و درباریان و تمام اهالی مصر از خواب بیدار شدند و ناله سر دادند، به طوری که صدای ناله و شیون آنها در سراسر مصر پیچید، زیرا خانه‌ای نبود که در آن کسی نمرده باشد. |
31 and he calls for Moses and for Aaron by night and says, “Rise, go out from the midst of my people, both you and the sons of Israel, and go, serve YHWH according to your word;
| فرعون در همان شب موسی و هارون را فرا خواند و به ایشان گفت: «هر چه زودتر از سرزمین مصر بیرون بروید و بنی‌اسرائیل را هم با خود ببرید. بروید و همان‌طور که خواستید خداوند را عبادت کنید. |
32 take both your flock and your herd as you have spoken, and go; then you have also blessed me.”
| گله‌ها و رمه‌های خود را هم ببرید. ولی پیش از اینکه بروید برای من نیز دعا کنید.» |
33 And the Egyptians are urgent on the people, hastening to send them away out of the land, for they said, “We are all dead”;
| اهالی مصر نیز به قوم اسرائیل اصرار می‌کردند تا هر چه زودتر از مصر بیرون بروند. آنها به بنی‌اسرائیل می‌گفتند: «تا همهٔ ما را به کشتن نداده‌اید از اینجا بیرون بروید.» |
34 and the people take up their dough before it is fermented, their kneading-troughs [are] bound up in their garments on their shoulder.
| پس قوم اسرائیل تغارهای پر از خمیر بی‌مایه را درون پارچه پیچیدند و بر دوش خود بستند، |
35 And the sons of Israel have done according to the word of Moses, and they ask for vessels of silver and vessels of gold, and garments, from the Egyptians;
| و همان‌طور که موسی به ایشان گفته بود از همسایه‌های مصری خود لباس و طلا و نقره خواستند. |
36 and YHWH has given the grace of the people in the eyes of the Egyptians, and they cause them to ask, and they spoil the Egyptians.
| خداوند بنی‌اسرائیل را در نظر اهالی مصر محترم ساخته بود، به طوری که هر چه از آنها خواستند به ایشان دادند. به این ترتیب آنها ثروت مصر را با خود بردند. |
37 And the sons of Israel journey from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, apart from infants;
| در همان شب بنی‌اسرائیل از رَمِسیس کوچ کرده، روانهٔ سوکوت شدند. تعداد ایشان به غیر از زنان و کودکان قریب به ششصد هزار مرد بود که پیاده در حرکت بودند. از قومهای دیگر نیز در میان آنها بودند که همراه ایشان از مصر بیرون آمدند. گله‌ها و رمه‌های فراوانی هم به همراه ایشان خارج شدند. |
38 and a great rabble has also gone up with them, and flock and herd—very much livestock.
39 And they bake unleavened cakes with the dough which they have brought out from Egypt, for it has not fermented; for they have been cast out of Egypt, and have not been able to delay, and also they have not made provision for themselves.
| وقتی سر راه برای غذا خوردن توقف کردند، از همان خمیر فطیر که آورده بودند، نان پختند. از این جهت خمیر را با خود آورده بودند چون با شتاب از مصر بیرون آمدند و فرصتی برای پختن نان نداشتند. |
40 And the dwelling of the sons of Israel [in] which they have dwelt in Egypt [is] four hundred and thirty years;
| بنی‌اسرائیل مدت چهارصد و سی سال در مصر زندگی کرده بودند. |
41 and it comes to pass, at the end of four hundred and thirty years—indeed, it comes to pass on this very same day—all the hosts of YHWH have gone out from the land of Egypt.
| در آخرین روز چهارصد و سی‌امین سال بود که لشکریان خداوند از سرزمین مصر بیرون آمدند. |
42 It [is] a night of watchings to YHWH, to bring them out from the land of Egypt; it [is] this night of watchings to YHWH to all the sons of Israel throughout their generations.
| خداوند آن شب را برای رهایی آنها از سرزمین مصر در نظر گرفته بود و قوم اسرائیل می‌بایست نسل اندر نسل، همه ساله در آن شب به یاد رهایی خود از دست مصری‌ها، برای خداوند جشن بگیرند. |
43 And YHWH says to Moses and Aaron, “This [is] a statute of the Passover; any son of a stranger does not eat of it;
| آنگاه خداوند به موسی و هارون مقررات آیین پِسَح را چنین تعلیم داد: «هیچ بیگانه‌ای نباید از گوشت برهٔ پِسَح بخورد. |
44 and any man’s servant, the purchase of money, when you have circumcised him—then he eats of it;
| اما غلامی که خریداری و ختنه شده باشد می‌تواند از آن بخورد. |
45 a settler or hired servant does not eat of it;
| خدمتکار و میهمان غیریهودی نباید از آن بخورند. |
46 it is eaten in one house, you do not carry out of the house [any] of the flesh outside, and you do not break a bone of it;
| تمام گوشت بره را در همان خانه‌ای که در آن نشسته‌اید بخورید. آن گوشت را از خانه نباید بیرون ببرید. هیچ‌یک از استخوانهای آن را نشکنید. |
47 all the congregation of Israel keeps it.
| تمام قوم اسرائیل باید این مراسم را برگزار نمایند. |
48 And when a sojourner sojourns with you, and has made a Passover to YHWH, every male of his [is] to be circumcised, and then he comes near to keep it, and he has been as a native of the land, but any uncircumcised one does not eat of it;
| «اگر غریبه‌هایی در میان شما زندگی می‌کنند و مایلند این آیین را برای خداوند نگاه دارند، باید مردان و پسران ایشان ختنه شوند تا اجازه داشته باشند مثل شما در این آیین شرکت کنند. اما شخص ختنه نشده هرگز نباید از گوشت برهٔ قربانی بخورد. |
49 one law is to a native, and to a sojourner who is sojourning in your midst.”
| تمام مقررات این جشن شامل حال غریبه‌هایی نیز که ختنه شده‌اند و در میان شما ساکنند، می‌شود.» |
50 And all the sons of Israel do as YHWH commanded Moses and Aaron; so they have done.
| قوم اسرائیل تمام دستورها خداوند را که توسط موسی و هارون به ایشان داده شده بود، به کار بستند. |
51 And it comes to pass on this very same day, YHWH has brought out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt by their hosts.
| در همان روز خداوند تمام بنی‌اسرائیل را از مصر بیرون آورد. |
