Ephesians 1
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, to the holy ones who are in Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
Paulus, Apostel Christus Jesus' durch Gottes Willen an die Heiligen (in Ephesus), welche sind gläubig an Christus Jesus.
2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!
Gnade euch und Friede von Gott unserem Vater und dem Herrn Jesus Christus.
3 Blessed [is] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who blessed us in every spiritual blessing in the heavenly [places] in Christ,
Gepriesen ist Gott der Vater unseres Herrn Jesus Christus, der uns gesegnet hat mit jedem geistlichen Segen in der Himmelswelt in Christus, dem gemäß,
4 according as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, for our being holy and unblemished before Him, in love,
daß er uns erwählt hat in ihm vor Grundlegung der Welt, heilig und unsträflich zu sein vor ihm in Liebe,
5 having foreordained us to the adoption of sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
indem er uns voraus bestimmte zur Sohnschaft, durch Jesus Christus bei ihm, nach dem Gutdünken seines Willens,
6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, in which He made us accepted in the beloved,
zum Lobe der Herrlichkeit seiner Gnade, mit welcher er uns begnadigt hat in dem Geliebten,
7 in whom we have the redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of the trespasses, according to the riches of His grace,
in welchem wir haben die Erlösung durch sein Blut, die Vergebung der Fehltritte nach dem Reichtum seiner Gnade,
8 in which He abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence,
die er ausgoß über uns mit aller Weisheit und Einsicht,
9 having made known to us the secret of His will, according to His good pleasure, that He purposed in Himself,
indem er uns kund machte das Geheimnis seines Willens, gemäß seinem Wohlgefallen wie er es sich vorsetzte
10 in regard to the dispensation of the fullness of the times, to bring into one the whole in the Christ, both the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth—in Him;
für die Anordnung der Fülle der Zeit, unter ein Haupt zu fassen das All im Christus, was im Himmel sowohl als was auf Erden ist, in ihm,
11 in whom also we obtained an inheritance, being foreordained according to the purpose of Him who is working all things according to the counsel of His will,
in welchem wir auch unser Los erhalten haben als Vorausbestimmte nach dem Vorsatz dessen, der alles wirkt gemäß der Neigung seines Willens,
12 for our being to the praise of His glory, [even] those who first hoped in the Christ,
daß wir seien zum Lobe seiner Herrlichkeit, die wir zuvorgehofft haben im Christus,
13 in whom you also, having heard the word of the truth—the good news of your salvation—in whom also having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of the promise,
in welchem auch ihr, da ihr das Wort der Wahrheit hörtet, das Evangelium von eurem Heile - in welchem ihr auch gläubig wurdet, und so versiegelt wurdet mit dem heiligen Geiste der Verheißung,
14 which is a deposit of our inheritance, to the redemption of the acquired possession, to the praise of His glory.
der da ist das Angeld unseres Erbes, für Erlösung des Eigentums, zum Lobe seiner Herrlichkeit.
15 Because of this I also, having heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and the love to all the holy ones,
Darum auch ich, nachdem ich gehört von dem Glauben, der bei euch ist, an den Herrn Jesus und der Liebe gegen alle Heilige,
16 do not cease giving thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers,
lasse ich nicht nach in Danksagung für euch, durch Erwähnung in meinem Gebet,
17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of the glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the recognition of Him,
auf daß der Gott unseres Herrn Jesus Christus, der Vater der Herrlichkeit, euch gebe einen Geist der Weisheit und Offenbarung durch seine Erkenntnis,
18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, for your knowing what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the holy ones,
erleuchtet die Augen eures Herzens, daß ihr wisset, welches ist die Hoffnung seiner Berufung, welches der Reichtum der Herrlichkeit seines Erbes bei den Heiligen,
19 and what the exceeding greatness of His power to us who are believing, according to the working of the power of His might,
und welches die überwältigende Größe seiner Macht für uns, die wir glauben nach der Wirkung der Gewalt seiner Stärke,
20 which He worked in the Christ, having raised Him out of the dead, and sat [Him] at His right hand in the heavenly [places],
die er gewirkt hat an Christus, da er ihn von den Toten auferweckte, und ihn setzte zu seiner Rechten in der Himmelswelt,
21 far above all principality, and authority, and might, and lordship, and every name named, not only in this age, but also in the coming one; (aiōn g165)
hoch über alle Herrschaft und Macht und Gewalt und Hoheit und alle Namen, die genannt werden, nicht nur in dieser sondern auch in der zukünftigen Welt, (aiōn g165)
22 and He put all things under His feet, and gave Him—head over all things to the Assembly,
und hat ihm alles unter die Füße gethan, und ihn zum Haupte gegeben über alles der Gemeinde,
23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who is filling all in all.
die da ist sein Leib, die Fülle dessen, der alles in allen erfüllt.
