Ephesians 6
1 The children: obey your parents in the LORD, for this is right;
子たる者よ、なんぢら主にありて兩親に順へ、これ正しき事なり。
2 honor your father and mother,
『なんぢの父 母を敬へ（これ約束を加へたる誡命の首なり）
3 which is the first command with a promise, “That it may be well with you, and you may live a long time on the land.”
さらばなんぢ幸福を得、また地の上に壽 長からん』
4 And the fathers: do not provoke your children, but nourish them in the instruction and admonition of the LORD.
父たる者よ、汝らの子供を怒らすな、ただ主の薫陶と訓戒とをもて育てよ。
5 The servants: obey the masters according to the flesh with fear and trembling, in the simplicity of your heart, as to the Christ;
僕たる者よ、キリストに從ふごとく畏れをののき、眞心をもて肉につける主人に從へ。
6 not with eye-service as men-pleasers, but as servants of the Christ, doing the will of God out of [your] soul,
人を喜ばする者の如く、ただ目の前の事のみを勤めず、キリストの僕のごとく心より神の御旨をおこなひ、
7 serving with goodwill, as to the LORD, and not to men,
人に事ふる如くせず、主に事ふるごとく快くつかへよ。
8 having known that whatever good thing each one may do, this he will receive from the LORD, whether servant or freeman.
そは奴隷にもあれ、自主にもあれ、各自おこなふ善き業によりて主より其の報を受くることを汝ら知ればなり。
9 And the masters! Do the same things to them, letting threatening alone, having also known that your Master is in the heavens, and favor by appearance is not with Him.
主人たる者よ、汝らも僕に對し斯く行ひて威嚇を止めよ、そは彼らと汝らとの主は天に在して、偏り視たまふことなきを汝ら知ればなり。
10 As to the rest, my brothers, be strong in the LORD, and in the power of His might;
終に言はん、汝ら主にありて其の大能の勢威に頼りて強かれ。
11 put on the whole armor of God, so you are able to stand against the schemes of the Devil,
惡魔の術に向ひて立ち得んために、神の武具をもて鎧ふべし。
12 because our wrestling is not with flesh and blood, but with the principalities, with the authorities, with the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, with the spiritual [forces] of evil in the heavenly [places]; (aiōn g165)
我らは血肉と戰ふにあらず、政治・權威、この世の暗黒を掌どるもの、天の處にある惡の靈と戰ふなり。 (aiōn g165)
13 because of this take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to resist in the day of the evil, and having done all things—to stand.
この故に神の武具を執れ、汝ら惡しき日に遭ひて仇に立ちむかひ、凡ての事を成就して立ち得んためなり。
14 Stand, therefore, having your loins girded around in truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
汝ら立つに誠を帶として腰に結び、正義を胸當として胸に當て、
15 and having the feet shod in the preparation of the good news of peace;
平和の福音の備を靴として足に穿け。
16 in all, having taken up the shield of faith, in which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one,
この他なほ信仰の盾を執れ、之をもて惡しき者の凡ての火矢を消すことを得ん。
17 and receive the helmet of the salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,
また救の冑および御靈の劍、すなはち神の言を執れ。
18 through all prayer and supplication praying at all times in the Spirit, and in this, watching in all perseverance and supplication for all the holy ones—
常にさまざまの祈と願とをなし、御靈によりて祈り、また目を覺して凡ての聖徒のためにも願ひて倦まざれ。
19 and in behalf of me, that to me may be given a word in the opening of my mouth, in freedom, to make known the secret of the good news,
又わが口を開くとき言を賜はり、憚らずして福音の奧義を示し、
20 for which I am an ambassador in a chain, that in it I may speak freely—as it is necessary for me to speak.
語るべき所を憚らず語り得るように、我がためにも祈れ、我はこの福音のために使者となりて鎖に繋がれたり。
21 And that you may know—you also—the things concerning me—what I do, Tychicus will make all things known to you, the beloved brother and faithful servant in the LORD,
愛する兄弟、主に在りて忠實なる役者テキコ、我が情況わが爲す所のことを、具に汝らに知らせん。
22 whom I sent to you for this very thing, that you might know the things concerning us, and that he might comfort your hearts.
われ彼を遣すは、我が事を汝らに知らせて、汝らの心を慰めしめん爲なり。
23 Peace to the brothers, and love, with faith, from God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ!
願はくは父なる神および主イエス・キリストより賜ふ平安と、信仰に伴へる愛と、兄弟たちに在らんことを。
24 The grace with all those loving our Lord Jesus Christ—undecayingly! Amen.
願はくは朽ちぬ愛をもて我らの主イエス・キリストを愛する凡ての者に御惠あらんことを。
