< Ephesians 6 >
1 The children: obey your parents in the LORD, for this is right;
Hnasen he aw, nami nupaa mtheh nami ngjak vai cun khritjan mtaa kya lü akcanga nami pawh vai kunga kyaki.
2 honor your father and mother,
“Na nu ja na pa jah leisawnga” ti hin akcüka ngthupeta kya lü khyütam pi ngpüiki:
3 which is the first command with a promise, “That it may be well with you, and you may live a long time on the land.”
“Acunüng, nang cun akdawa citcawn lü na venak mdeka na sak pi saü khai ni.”
4 And the fathers: do not provoke your children, but nourish them in the instruction and admonition of the LORD.
Nupae, nami cae ami mlung a sonak vaia käh jah pawh ua. Acuna hnün üng Khritjan thumning am jah mthehmkhyah lü jah jäksawn ua.
5 The servants: obey the masters according to the flesh with fear and trembling, in the simplicity of your heart, as to the Christ;
Mpyae aw, Khritawa khut nami bikia kba mlungkyawng ngcim am bi lü nami nghngicim mahpaea pyen cän kyühkyawknak am jah kcang na u.
6 not with eye-service as men-pleasers, but as servants of the Christ, doing the will of God out of [your] soul,
A ning jah mküiei vaia a ning jah hmuh däk üng käh pawh lü Khritawa mpyaa kba Pamhnam naw i hlükaweiki ti cun mlungkyawng kcang am pawh ua.
7 serving with goodwill, as to the LORD, and not to men,
Mpya khut nami pawh üng nghngicima khut pawhkia kba am kya lü Bawipa khut pawhkia kba jekyai lü khüia.
8 having known that whatever good thing each one may do, this he will receive from the LORD, whether servant or freeman.
9 And the masters! Do the same things to them, letting threatening alone, having also known that your Master is in the heavens, and favor by appearance is not with Him.
Mahpae, nami mpyae nami jah mkyühmcik cän hawih lü akdawa ngneisak ua. Khyang naküt angteha ngthu jah mkhyah khai khankhawa ka Bawipa naw ning jah kanaki ti cun süm ua.
10 As to the rest, my brothers, be strong in the LORD, and in the power of His might;
Akpäihnaka dämduhkia a johit cun Bawipaa dä yümmatnak am nami johit ngjuktha yahnak vaia bilo ua.
11 put on the whole armor of God, so you are able to stand against the schemes of the Devil,
Khawyaia mhleimhlaknake nami jah sungkham khawh vaia Pamhnam naw a ning jah peta likcim cun jah bilo ua.
12 because our wrestling is not with flesh and blood, but with the principalities, with the authorities, with the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, with the spiritual [forces] of evil in the heavenly [places]; (aiōn )
Mimi cun naw khyang üng mi ngtuatki am ni, anghmüp k'uma veki Ngmüimkhya ksea johite, anae, jah upkie ja khankhawa veki johite cun mi jah ngtukah püikie ni. (aiōn )
13 because of this take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to resist in the day of the evil, and having done all things—to stand.
Pamhnama likcime cun atuh jah suiawi u! Khawmhnüp kse a pha law üng yea a ning tukahnak cun na sungkham khawh khai, acun üngva na nglehei cäm lü apäihnak vei cäpa na ngtu khawh khai.
14 Stand, therefore, having your loins girded around in truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
Ngthungtak cun khapata kba na kcawi khit lü ngsungpyunnak am na ngkyang khüm lü ngsüngcei lü ngdüia,
15 and having the feet shod in the preparation of the good news of peace;
Dimyenaka thangkdaw cän sang khaia yüconaka khawdawk cän ngcum ua.
16 in all, having taken up the shield of faith, in which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one,
Khawyaia kah däikia thee cän na jah hnimnak khawh vaia jumeinaka ksawi cän akcün tä se kawt ua.
17 and receive the helmet of the salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,
Küikyannaka mthi lukhum ja Ngmüimkhya naw a ning jah peta Pamhnama ngthu cän kcimsaüa kba jah taei ua.
18 through all prayer and supplication praying at all times in the Spirit, and in this, watching in all perseverance and supplication for all the holy ones—
Avan cun ktaiyünak am pawh u lü Pamhnama kpüinak pi kthähei ua. Ngmüimkhya naw lam a ning jah msüma kba akcün tä ktaiyü ua. Ahina phäha mcei lü käh ngdüm lü Pamhnama khyangea phäh angläta ktaiyü ua.
19 and in behalf of me, that to me may be given a word in the opening of my mouth, in freedom, to make known the secret of the good news,
Keia phäh pi ktaiyü u bä, Pamhnam naw a na peta ngthu cun ling lü pyen lü ngthupkia thangkdaw cun ka jah ksingsak vaia phäh ni.
20 for which I am an ambassador in a chain, that in it I may speak freely—as it is necessary for me to speak.
21 And that you may know—you also—the things concerning me—what I do, Tychicus will make all things known to you, the beloved brother and faithful servant in the LORD,
Ihawkba ka veki ti cun nami ksing vaia Bawipaa khut pawhnak am sitihki mpya, mi mhlänaka mi bena Taikikah naw ka mawng ning jah mtheh khai.
22 whom I sent to you for this very thing, that you might know the things concerning us, and that he might comfort your hearts.
23 Peace to the brothers, and love, with faith, from God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ!
24 The grace with all those loving our Lord Jesus Christ—undecayingly! Amen.
Am thi theikia mhläkphyanak am Bawi Jesuh Khritaw kphyanakiea veia Pamhnama bäkhäknak ve se.
