Ephesians 5
1 Become, then, followers of God, as beloved children,
అతో యూయం ప్రియబాలకా ఇవేశ్వరస్యానుకారిణో భవత,
2 and walk in love, as the Christ also loved us, and gave Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a refreshing fragrance,
ఖ్రీష్ట ఇవ ప్రేమాచారం కురుత చ, యతః సోఽస్మాసు ప్రేమ కృతవాన్ అస్మాకం వినిమయేన చాత్మనివేదనం కృత్వా గ్రాహ్యసుగన్ధార్థకమ్ ఉపహారం బలిఞ్చేశ్వరాచ దత్తవాన్|
3 and whoredom, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, do not let it even be named among you, as is proper to holy ones;
కిన్తు వేశ్యాగమనం సర్వ్వవిధాశౌచక్రియా లోభశ్చైతేషామ్ ఉచ్చారణమపి యుష్మాకం మధ్యే న భవతు, ఏతదేవ పవిత్రలోకానామ్ ఉచితం|
4 also filthiness, and foolish talking, or jesting—the things not fit—but rather thanksgiving;
అపరం కుత్సితాలాపః ప్రలాపః శ్లేషోక్తిశ్చ న భవతు యత ఏతాన్యనుచితాని కిన్త్వీశ్వరస్య ధన్యవాదో భవతు|
5 for you know this, that every whoremonger, or unclean, or covetous person, who is an idolater, has no inheritance in the kingdom of the Christ and God.
వేశ్యాగామ్యశౌచాచారీ దేవపూజక ఇవ గణ్యో లోభీ చైతేషాం కోషి ఖ్రీష్టస్య రాజ్యేఽర్థత ఈశ్వరస్య రాజ్యే కమప్యధికారం న ప్రాప్స్యతీతి యుష్మాభిః సమ్యక్ జ్ఞాయతాం|
6 Let no one deceive you with vain words, for because of these things comes the anger of God on the sons of the disobedience;
అనర్థకవాక్యేన కోఽపి యుష్మాన్ న వఞ్చయతు యతస్తాదృగాచారహేతోరనాజ్ఞాగ్రాహిషు లోకేష్వీశ్వరస్య కోపో వర్త్తతే|
7 do not become, then, partakers with them,
తస్మాద్ యూయం తైః సహభాగినో న భవత|
8 for you were once darkness, and now light in the LORD; walk as children of light,
పూర్వ్వం యూయమ్ అన్ధకారస్వరూపా ఆధ్వం కిన్త్విదానీం ప్రభునా దీప్తిస్వరూపా భవథ తస్మాద్ దీప్తేః సన్తానా ఇవ సమాచరత|
9 for the fruit of the light [is] in all goodness, and righteousness, and truth,
దీప్తే ర్యత్ ఫలం తత్ సర్వ్వవిధహితైషితాయాం ధర్మ్మే సత్యాలాపే చ ప్రకాశతే|
10 proving what is well-pleasing to the LORD;
ప్రభవే యద్ రోచతే తత్ పరీక్షధ్వం|
11 and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of the darkness and rather even convict,
యూయం తిమిరస్య విఫలకర్మ్మణామ్ అంశినో న భూత్వా తేషాం దోషిత్వం ప్రకాశయత|
12 for it is a shame even to speak of the things done by them in secret,
యతస్తే లోకా రహమి యద్ యద్ ఆచరన్తి తదుచ్చారణమ్ అపి లజ్జాజనకం|
13 and all the things reproved by the light are revealed, for everything that is revealed is light;
యతో దీప్త్యా యద్ యత్ ప్రకాశ్యతే తత్ తయా చకాస్యతే యచ్చ చకాస్తి తద్ దీప్తిస్వరూపం భవతి|
14 for this reason it says, “Arouse yourself, you who are sleeping, and arise out of the dead, and the Christ will shine on you.”
ఏతత్కారణాద్ ఉక్తమ్ ఆస్తే, "హే నిద్రిత ప్రబుధ్యస్వ మృతేభ్యశ్చోత్థితిం కురు| తత్కృతే సూర్య్యవత్ ఖ్రీష్టః స్వయం త్వాం ద్యోతయిష్యతి| "
15 See, then, how exactly you walk, not as unwise, but as wise,
అతః సావధానా భవత, అజ్ఞానా ఇవ మాచరత కిన్తు జ్ఞానిన ఇవ సతర్కమ్ ఆచరత|
16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil;
సమయం బహుమూల్యం గణయధ్వం యతః కాలా అభద్రాః|
17 do not become fools because of this, but—understanding what [is] the will of the LORD,
తస్మాద్ యూయమ్ అజ్ఞానా న భవత కిన్తు ప్రభోరభిమతం కిం తదవగతా భవత|
18 and do not be drunk with wine, in which is wastefulness, but be filled in the Spirit,
సర్వ్వనాశజనకేన సురాపానేన మత్తా మా భవత కిన్త్వాత్మనా పూర్య్యధ్వం|
19 speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the LORD,
అపరం గీతై ర్గానైః పారమార్థికకీర్త్తనైశ్చ పరస్పరమ్ ఆలపన్తో మనసా సార్ద్ధం ప్రభుమ్ ఉద్దిశ్య గాయత వాదయత చ|
20 always giving thanks for all things, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to the God and Father,
సర్వ్వదా సర్వ్వవిషయేఽస్మత్ప్రభో యీశోః ఖ్రీష్టస్య నామ్నా తాతమ్ ఈశ్వరం ధన్యం వదత|
21 subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ.
యూయమ్ ఈశ్వరాద్ భీతాః సన్త అన్యేఽపరేషాం వశీభూతా భవత|
22 The wives: [subject yourselves] to your own husbands, as to the LORD,
హే యోషితః, యూయం యథా ప్రభోస్తథా స్వస్వస్వామినో వశఙ్గతా భవత|
23 because the husband is head of the wife, as also the Christ [is] head of the Assembly, and He is Savior of the body,
యతః ఖ్రీష్టో యద్వత్ సమితే ర్మూర్ద్ధా శరీరస్య త్రాతా చ భవతి తద్వత్ స్వామీ యోషితో మూర్ద్ధా|
24 but even as the Assembly is subject to Christ, so also [are] the wives [subject] to their own husbands in everything.
అతః సమితి ర్యద్వత్ ఖ్రీష్టస్య వశీభూతా తద్వద్ యోషిద్భిరపి స్వస్వస్వామినో వశతా స్వీకర్త్తవ్యా|
25 The husbands: love your own wives, as the Christ also loved the Assembly, and gave Himself for it,
అపరఞ్చ హే పురుషాః, యూయం ఖ్రీష్ట ఇవ స్వస్వయోషిత్సు ప్రీయధ్వం|
26 that He might sanctify it, having cleansed [it] with the bathing of the water in the saying,
స ఖ్రీష్టోఽపి సమితౌ ప్రీతవాన్ తస్యాః కృతే చ స్వప్రాణాన్ త్యక్తవాన్ యతః స వాక్యే జలమజ్జనేన తాం పరిష్కృత్య పావయితుమ్
27 that He might present the Assembly to Himself in glory, having no spot or wrinkle, or any of such things, but that it may be holy and unblemished;
అపరం తిలకవల్యాదివిహీనాం పవిత్రాం నిష్కలఙ్కాఞ్చ తాం సమితిం తేజస్వినీం కృత్వా స్వహస్తే సమర్పయితుఞ్చాభిలషితవాన్|
28 so ought the husbands to love their own wives as their own bodies: he who is loving his own wife—he loves himself;
తస్మాత్ స్వతనువత్ స్వయోషితి ప్రేమకరణం పురుషస్యోచితం, యేన స్వయోషితి ప్రేమ క్రియతే తేనాత్మప్రేమ క్రియతే|
29 for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and nurtures it, as also the LORD—the Assembly,
కోఽపి కదాపి న స్వకీయాం తనుమ్ ఋతీయితవాన్ కిన్తు సర్వ్వే తాం విభ్రతి పుష్ణన్తి చ| ఖ్రీష్టోఽపి సమితిం ప్రతి తదేవ కరోతి,
30 because we are members of His body, [[of His flesh, and of His bones.]]
యతో వయం తస్య శరీరస్యాఙ్గాని మాంసాస్థీని చ భవామః|
31 “For this cause will a man leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife, and the two will be into one flesh”;
ఏతదర్థం మానవః స్వమాతాపితరో పరిత్యజ్య స్వభార్య్యాయామ్ ఆసంక్ష్యతి తౌ ద్వౌ జనావేకాఙ్గౌ భవిష్యతః|
32 this secret is great, and I speak in regard to Christ and to the Assembly;
ఏతన్నిగూఢవాక్యం గురుతరం మయా చ ఖ్రీష్టసమితీ అధి తద్ ఉచ్యతే|
33 but you also, everyone in particular—let each so love his own wife as himself, and the wife—that she may revere the husband.
అతఏవ యుష్మాకమ్ ఏకైకో జన ఆత్మవత్ స్వయోషితి ప్రీయతాం భార్య్యాపి స్వామినం సమాదర్త్తుం యతతాం|
