< Ephesians 5 >
1 Become, then, followers of God, as beloved children,
Nakhoina Tengban Mapugi nungsiraba machasing oiba maramna nakhoina mahakki matou loubiyu.
2 and walk in love, as the Christ also loved us, and gave Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a refreshing fragrance,
Christtana eikhoibu nungsibiba amadi Tengban Mapubu pelhanba manam nungsiba katnapot amadi iratpot amagum eikhoigidamak mahakki punsi pithokpa adugumna nakhoina nungsibada chatlu.
3 and whoredom, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, do not let it even be named among you, as is proper to holy ones;
Adubu nakhoigi mathakta nupa nupi lannaba, nattraga sengdabagi nattraga kaarambagi maramda misingna hainahannabagi maram amata piganu, maramdi asising asi Tengban Mapugi asengba misinggidamak matik chade.
4 also filthiness, and foolish talking, or jesting—the things not fit—but rather thanksgiving;
Aduga amotpa wangang, apangba wangang amadi phattaba phagi-jugaigi wa-ngang asi nakhoigidamak matik chade. Adugi mahutta nakhoina Tengban Mapubu thagatlu.
5 for you know this, that every whoremonger, or unclean, or covetous person, who is an idolater, has no inheritance in the kingdom of the Christ and God.
Nakhoina soidana khanggadaba adudi lamchat motpa, sengdaba aduga kaaramba (maramdi kaaramba haibasi lai muri latpagi masak amani) kanagumba amatanasu Christtagi amadi Tengban Mapugi ningthou leibakta phangpham thokpa kari amata leite.
6 Let no one deceive you with vain words, for because of these things comes the anger of God on the sons of the disobedience;
Mi kana amatana nakhoibu apangba waheina namthak toudasanu maramdi asigumbasing asigi maramna Tengban Mapugi asaoba adu haiba indabasing adugi mathakta lak-i.
7 do not become, then, partakers with them,
Maram aduna asigumba mising asiga saruk phangminnaganu.
8 for you were once darkness, and now light in the LORD; walk as children of light,
Nakhoi matam amada amambana thallami, adubu houjikti nakhoina Ibungoda mangal oire. Maram aduna nakhoina mangalgi machasinggumna hing-u.
9 for the fruit of the light [is] in all goodness, and righteousness, and truth,
Maramdi aphaba, achumba chatpa amadi achumbagi marang kaiba mahei purakpa adu mangal asinani.
10 proving what is well-pleasing to the LORD;
Aduga karina Ibungobu pelhanbage haibadu khangnanaba hotnou.
11 and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of the darkness and rather even convict,
Misingna touba amambagi oiba kannadaba thabaksing aduda yaoruganu, madugi mahutta makhoibu phongdok-u.
12 for it is a shame even to speak of the things done by them in secret,
Haiba indabasing aduna lonna touba thabaksing adugi maramda panba phaoba tasengna yamna ikainingngaini.
13 and all the things reproved by the light are revealed, for everything that is revealed is light;
Adubu pumnamak mangalda phongdokpa matamda makhoigi asengba machattu sengna phongdokpigani.
14 for this reason it says, “Arouse yourself, you who are sleeping, and arise out of the dead, and the Christ will shine on you.”
Maramdi pumnamakpu uba ngamhalliba adu mangalnani. Maram aduna asumna hai, “Tumliba nahak hougatlo, Asibadagi nahak hougatlo, Aduga Christtana nahakki nathakta nganbigani.”
15 See, then, how exactly you walk, not as unwise, but as wise,
Maram aduna nakhoina karamna hinglibage haibadu cheksillu. Nakhoina apangba misingumna hingganu adubu asingba misinggumna hing-u.
16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil;
Nakhoida leiba khudongchaba khudingmakpu heisingna sijinnahou maramdi matam asi phatte.
17 do not become fools because of this, but—understanding what [is] the will of the LORD,
Maram aduna apangba oiganu adubu Ibungona nakhoida touhanningba adu karino haibadu khangnaba hotnou.
18 and do not be drunk with wine, in which is wastefulness, but be filled in the Spirit,
Nakhoina yu ngaoganu maramdi maduna nakhoigi punsi manghan-gani. Madugi mahutta Thawaina thalhallu.
19 speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the LORD,
Nakhoi amaga amagagi marakta thagat isei, laison isei, amadi thawaigi oiba iseina ngangna saknou. Aduga thamoinungda Ibungobu thagatchabaga loinana isei sak-u.
20 always giving thanks for all things, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to the God and Father,
Maram pumnamakkidamak Ibungo Jisu Christtagi mingda matam pumnamakta Mapa Ibungo Tengban Mapubu thagatlu.
21 subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ.
Christtabu nakhoina kina luna chatchabagi maramna nakhoina amaga amaga makha ponnou.
22 The wives: [subject yourselves] to your own husbands, as to the LORD,
Nupisa nakhoina Ibungogi makha ponjabagumna nakhoina napuroibagi makha pollu.
23 because the husband is head of the wife, as also the Christ [is] head of the Assembly, and He is Savior of the body,
Maramdi Christtana singlupki makok oibagumna mapuroibana nupigi makokni. Aduga Christta masamak mahakki hakchang oiriba singlupki kanbiba mapuni.
24 but even as the Assembly is subject to Christ, so also [are] the wives [subject] to their own husbands in everything.
Aduga singlupna Christtagi makha ponbagumna nupisingnasu hiram khudingmakta mapuroibagi makha ponsanu.
25 The husbands: love your own wives, as the Christ also loved the Assembly, and gave Himself for it,
Mapuroibasa, Christtana singluppu nungsiba amadi mahakki punsi singlupkidamak katthokkhibagumna nakhoigi nupisingbu nungsiyu.
26 that He might sanctify it, having cleansed [it] with the bathing of the water in the saying,
Mahakna masi singluppu asengba oihannaba waheigi mapanna isingna chamthokpiduna sengdokpi.
27 that He might present the Assembly to Himself in glory, having no spot or wrinkle, or any of such things, but that it may be holy and unblemished;
Madu singluppu matik mangalgi singlup ama oina achuba amadi kusinba yaodana, amadi atoppa athiba kari amatasu yaodana, asengba amadi amakpa leitana masamakta katchanabagidamakni.
28 so ought the husbands to love their own wives as their own bodies: he who is loving his own wife—he loves himself;
Masiga chap mannana mapuroibasingsu makhoi masa masamakki hakchangbu nungsibagumna makhoigi nupisingbu nungsigadabani. Mahak masagi nupibu nungsiba mahak aduna mahak masabu nungsibani.
29 for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and nurtures it, as also the LORD—the Assembly,
Pumnamakki mathakta eikhoi kananasu keidounungda isagi hakchangbu tukkachaba toude. Madugi mahutta Christtana singlupta toubagumna eikhoina eikhoigi hachangbu yokkhatchei amadi yengsinjei.
30 because we are members of His body, [[of His flesh, and of His bones.]]
Maramdi eikhoidi mahakki hakchanggi kayatsingni.
31 “For this cause will a man leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife, and the two will be into one flesh”;
Mapugi Puyada haibagumna, “Maram asimakna nupa amana mahakki mama mapabu thadoktuna magi nupida punsin-gani. Aduga makhoi ani hakchang amata oigani.”
32 this secret is great, and I speak in regard to Christ and to the Assembly;
Masi khangbada waba athupa wani, adubu eina Christta amasung singlupki maramda haibani.
33 but you also, everyone in particular—let each so love his own wife as himself, and the wife—that she may revere the husband.
Adumakpu, mapuroiba khudingna masagi nupibu masamakpu nungsibagum nungsigadabani, aduga nupi khudingna mahakki mapuroibabu ikai khumnagadabani.
