Ephesians 2
1 Also you—being dead in trespasses and sins,

2 in which you once walked according to the age of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience, (aiōn g165)
kunis isuma isin yeroo jireenya addunyaa kanaatii fi bulchaa mootummaa qilleensaa jechuunis hafuura amma iyyuu warra hin ajajamne keessatti hojjetu duukaa buutanitti keessa jiraachaa turtanii dha. (aiōn g165)
3 among whom we also all walked once in the desires of our flesh, doing the wishes of the flesh and of the thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath—as also the others,
Hundi keenyas yeroo tokko dharraa foon keenyaa guutaa, hawwii fi yaada isaa duukaa buʼaa isaan gidduu jiraanne. Uumama keenyaanis akkuma warra kaanii dheekkamsa jala turre.
4 but God, being rich in kindness, because of His great love with which He loved us,
Garuu Waaqni araaraan guutame sun sababii jaalala guddaa nuu qabuuf,
5 even being dead in the trespasses, made us alive together with the Christ (by grace you are saved),
yeroo nu irra daddarbaa keenyaan duunee turretti illee Kiristoos wajjin jiraattota nu taasise; isinis ayyaanaan fayyina argattan.
6 and raised [us] up together, and sat [us] together in the heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus,
Waaqnis Kiristoos wajjin duʼaa nu kaase; karaa Kiristoos Yesuusiinis isa wajjin iddoo samii irra nu teessise;
7 that He might show, in the ages that are coming, the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus, (aiōn g165)
innis bara dhufuuf jiru keessa badhaadhummaa ayyaana isaa kan gita hin qabne sana arjummaa karaa Kiristoos Yesuusiin nuuf qabu argisiisuuf jedhee waan kana godhe. (aiōn g165)
8 for by grace you are saved, through faith, and this [is] not of yourselves—[it is] the gift of God,
Isinis ayyaanaan karaa amantiitiin fayyitaniirtuutii; kunis kennaa Waaqaati malee hojii ofii keessanii miti;
9 not of works, that no one may boast;
akka namni tokko iyyuu of hin jajneefis kun hojiidhaan miti.
10 for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus on good works, which God prepared before, that we may walk in them.
Nu hojii harka isaatii; hojii gaarii Waaqni duraan dursee akka nu hojjennuuf qopheesse sana akka hojjennuufis karaa Kiristoos Yesuusiin uumamne.
11 For this reason, remember, that you [were] once the nations in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that called Circumcision in the flesh made by hands,
Kanaaf isin warri durumaa dhalootaan Namoota Ormaa taatan akka warra dhagna qabaa harka namaatiin dhagna namaa irratti hojjetamuun, “Nu warra dhagna qabatee dha” ofiin jedhan biratti “Warra dhagna hin qabatin” jedhamtanii waamamtan sana yaadadhaa;
12 that you were at that time apart from Christ, having been alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope, and without God in the world;
isin akka yeroo sana Kiristoos irraa cittanii, lammummaa Israaʼel keessaa baafamtanii, kakuu waadaatiifis keessumoota taatanii, abdii malee, Waaqa malees addunyaa keessa turtan yaadadhaa.
13 but now, in Christ Jesus, you being once far off became near in the blood of the Christ,
Amma garuu isin warri yeroo tokko fagoo turtan Kiristoos Yesuusiin dhiiga Kiristoosiin dhiʼeeffamtaniirtu.
14 for He is our peace, who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of the partition of hostility,
Kiristoos nagaa keenyaatii; innis dallaa diinummaa kan gargar baasu sana diigee jara lamaanuu tokko godheera;
15 the enmity in His flesh, having done away [with] the Law of the commands in ordinances, that He might create the two into one new man in Himself, making peace,

16 and might reconcile both in one body to God through the Cross, having slain the enmity by it,

17 and having come, He proclaimed good news—peace to you—the far-off and the near,
Innis dhufee isin warra fagoo turtanitti nagaa, warra dhiʼoo turanittis nagaa lallabe.
18 because through Him we have the access—we both—in one Spirit to the Father.
Nu lamaanuu karaa isaatiin Hafuura tokkicha sanaan akka itti Abbaa bira geenyu qabnaatii.
19 Then, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens of the holy ones, and of the household of God,
Kanaafuu isin siʼachi saba Waaqaa wajjin lammii fi miseensota warra mana Waaqaa jiraataniiti malee ormaa fi alagoota miti;
20 being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being chief corner-[stone],
isin hundee ergamootaa fi raajotaa irratti ijaaramtaniirtu; Kiristoos Yesuus ofii isaatii mataa dhagaa golee ti.
21 in whom all the building fitly framed together increases to a holy temple in the LORD,
Karaa isaas ijaarsi sun guutuun tokkummaan wal qabatee mana qulqullummaa qulqulluu taʼuuf Gooftaadhaan guddata.
22 in whom you also are built together, for a habitation of God in the Spirit.
Isinis isumaan mana Waaqni Hafuura isaatiin keessa jiraatu taatanii tokkummaadhaan ijaaramaa jirtu.
