Deuteronomy 34

1 And Moses goes up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, the top of Pisgah, which [is] on the front of Jericho, and YHWH shows him all the land—Gilead to Dan,

۱ و موسی از عربات موآب، به کوه نبو، برقله فسجه که در مقابل اریحاست برآمد، و خداوند تمامی زمین را، از جلعاد تا دان، به او نشان داد.

2 and all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah to the Western Sea,

۲ و تمامی نفتالی و زمین افرایم ومنسی و تمامی زمین یهودا را تا دریای مغربی.

3 and the south, and the circuit of the Valley of Jericho, the city of palms, to Zoar.

۳ وجنوب را و میدان دره اریحا را که شهر نخلستان است تا صوغر.

4 And YHWH says to him, “This [is] the land which I have sworn to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, I give it to your seed; I have caused you to see with your eyes, but you do not pass over there.”

۴ و خداوند وی را گفت: «این است زمینی که برای ابراهیم و اسحاق و یعقوب قسم خورده، گفتم که این را به ذریت تو خواهم داد، تو را اجازت دادم که به چشم خود آن راببینی لیکن به آنجا عبور نخواهی کرد.»

5 And Moses, servant of the Lord, dies there in the land of Moab, according to the command of YHWH;

۵ پس موسی بنده خداوند در آنجا به زمین موآب برحسب قول خداوند مرد.

6 and He buries him in a valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth-Peor, and no man has known his burying place to this day.

۶ و او را در زمین موآب در مقابل بیت فعور، در دره دفن کرد، واحدی قبر او را تا امروز ندانسته است.

7 And Moses [is] a son of one hundred and twenty years when he dies; his eye has not become dim, nor has his moisture fled.

۷ و موسی چون وفات یافت، صد و بیست سال داشت، و نه چشمش تار، و نه قوتش کم شده بود.

8 And the sons of Israel lament Moses in the plains of Moab [for] thirty days; and the days of weeping [and] mourning for Moses are completed.

۸ وبنی‌اسرائیل برای موسی در عربات موآب سی روز ماتم گرفتند. پس روزهای ماتم و نوحه گری برای موسی سپری گشت.

9 And Joshua son of Nun is full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him, and the sons of Israel listen to him, and do as YHWH commanded Moses.

۹ و یوشع بن نون از روح حکمت مملو بود، چونکه موسی دستهای خود را بر او نهاده بود، وبنی‌اسرائیل او را اطاعت نمودند، و برحسب آنچه خداوند به موسی‌امر فرموده بود، عمل کردند.

10 And there has not arisen a prophet in Israel like Moses anymore, whom YHWH has known face to face,

۱۰ و نبی‌ای مثل موسی تا بحال در اسرائیل برنخاسته است که خداوند او را روبرو شناخته باشد.

11 in reference to all the signs and the wonders which YHWH sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,

۱۱ در جمیع آیات و معجزاتی که خداونداو را فرستاد تا آنها را در زمین مصر به فرعون و جمیع بندگانش و تمامی زمینش بنماید.

12 and in reference to all the strong hand and to all the great fear which Moses did before the eyes of all Israel.

۱۲ و درتمامی دست قوی، و جمیع آن هیبت عظیم که موسی در نظر همه اسرائیل نمود.
