Deuteronomy 3
1 “And we turn and go up the way to Bashan, and Og king of Bashan comes out to meet us, he and all his people, to the battle [at] Edrei.

2 And YHWH says to me, Do not fear him, for I have given him, and all his people, and his land into your hand, and you have done to him as you have done to Sihon king of the Amorite who is dwelling in Heshbon.

3 And our God YHWH indeed gives Og king of Bashan and all his people into our hands, and we strike him until there has been no remnant left to him;

4 and we capture all his cities at that time; there has not been a city which we have not taken from them—sixty cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.
Alal-na khopi somgup ijousoh kei tauvin, hichu Argob gamkai Bashan lenggam pumpi ahi. Khopi khat jeng cha jong asohcha tapoi.
5 All these [are] cities fortified with high walls, double gates, and bar, apart from very many cities of the open place;
Hiche khopi ho jouse chu akimvel aboncha pal phatah a kigen le kelkot phatah a kisem soh kei ahi. Chule kho phabep akimvela pal kigen lou jong ilo tauvin ahi.
6 and we devote them, as we have done to Sihon king of Heshbon, devoting [the] men, the women, and the infants of every city;
Hesbon lengpa Sihon isuhgam bang uvin, Bashan lenggam pumpi jong abonchan ijousoh hel tauvin ahi. Khopi tin’a mihem jouse ithat soheki uvin numei chapang jaona pasal jouse ahi.
7 and all the livestock, and the spoil of the cities, we have spoiled for ourselves.
Khopi jousea gancha ho ihinghoi uvin, thil ijakai manlu jouse jong ichom tauvin ahi.
8 And at that time we take the land out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorite, which is beyond the Jordan, from the Brook of Arnon to Mount Hermon
Amor mite lengpa lalna gam lhumlam Jordan vadung jong ilo’uvin, hichu Arnon Gorge apat Hermon molsang changei ahi.
9 (Sidonians call Hermon Sirion, and the Amorites call it Senir),
(Sidon mite chun Hermon molsang chu Sirion tin akou un chule Amor miten Senir tin akou uve.)
10 all the cities of the plain, and all Gilead, and all Bashan, as far as Salchah and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan.
Tun eihon Gilead le Bashan gamkai pumpi ijousoh tauvin, Og lengpa gamvai pohna Salecah le Edrei changeiyin ijousoh hel tauvin ahi.
11 For only Og king of Bashan had been left of the remnant of the Rephaim; behold, his bedstead [is] a bedstead of iron. Is it not in Rabbath of the sons of Ammon? Its length [is] nine cubits and its breadth [is] four cubits, by the cubit of a man.

12 And this land, [which] we had possessed at that time, from Aroer, which [is] by the Brook of Arnon, and the half of Mount Gilead and its cities, I have given to the Reubenite and to the Gadite;
Hiche gam pumpi chu ilo tauvin ahileh, keiman Reuben le Gad insung ading in Aroer apat Arnon Gorge changei in chule Gilead gam kehkhat le khopi phabep jaonan kapedoh tan ahi.
13 and the rest of Gilead and all Bashan, the kingdom of Og, I have given to the half tribe of Manasseh; all the region of Argob, with all Bashan—it is called the land of [the] Rephaim.
Manasseh chilhahte ding in, Gilead gam kehkhat le Bashan gam pumpi Og lengpa lalna gam chu ka pedoh tan ahi. (Hiche hi Bashan gam Argob gamkai pumpi hi Rephaim tia kihe ahi).
14 Jair son of Manasseh has taken all the region of Argob, as far as the border of Geshuri and Maachathi ([namely] Bashan), and calls them by his own name, Havoth-Jair, to this day.
Manasseh insunga lamkai amin Jair, ama hin Bashan, Argob gamkai pumpi ajousoh hel in, Geshur mite le Maacah mite gamgi changei ahi. Jair chun hiche gam chu ama min aputsah in, Jair khopi asah tan, tuni chan in Jair tin akihe jing na laiyin ahi.
15 And I have given Gilead to Machir.

16 And to the Reubenite and to the Gadite I have given from Gilead even to the Brook of Arnon, the middle of the valley and the border, even to the Brook of Jabbok, the border of the sons of Ammon,
Chule keiman Reuben le Gad insunga ding in Gilead gam phabep jong kapen ahi. Arnon Gorge lhanglam lailung apat Ammon mite chenna Jabbok vadung chan ahi.
17 and the plain, and the Jordan, and the border, from Chinnereth even to the Sea of the Plain (the Salt Sea), under the Springs of Pisgah, at the [sun]-rising.
Jordan phaicham Galilee dillen lhanglam San dung, apat Jordan vadung gamgi changei ahi. Hichu solam Pisgah toh kimat ahitai.
18 And at that time I command you, saying, Your God YHWH has given this land to you to possess it; you pass over armed before your brothers the sons of Israel, all the sons of might.
Hiche phatlai chun keiman ama insung cheh, lhumlam Jordan a cheng ding in thupeh ka neiyin ahi: Hiche gam pumpi hi Pakai, Pathen in nangho napehsau hijongleh, na gal-miteuvin na sopite ho chenna Jordan gam aho pauva galkai diu ahi.
19 Only your wives, and your infants, and your livestock—I have known that you have much livestock—dwell in your cities which I have given to you,
Chule najiteu, nachateu chule na gancha jouseo jaona keiman kapeh khopi hoa cheng diu ahi.
20 until YHWH gives rest to your brothers like yourselves, and they also have possessed the land which your God YHWH is giving to them beyond the Jordan; then you have each turned back to his possession which I have given to you.
Pakaiyin Israel mite dinga kivenbitna gam napedoh tauvin, chuin amahon Jordan vadung changeiyin aching uvin, chuin nangho nabon chauvin Pakaiyin na pehnau gam achun nacheng khom tauvin ahi.
21 And I have commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Your eyes are seeing all that which your God YHWH has done to these two kings—so YHWH does to all the kingdoms to where you are passing over;
Hichun keiman Joshua henga thupeh hicheng hi kaneiyin: Nanghon hiche leng teni chunga Pakai natoh abonchan namusoh tauvin. Pakaiyin lhumlam gamkai Jordan chengsea angaiya bang banga na atoh ding ahi.
22 do not fear them, for your God YHWH—He is fighting for you.
Hijeh chun hiche nam mite khu kicha hih in, Pakaiyin nangma dinga gal asat ding ahi.
23 And to YHWH I beg for grace at that time, saying,
Chuin keima Pakai henga katao vin hiti hin kaseiye.
24 Lord YHWH, You have begun to show Your servant Your greatness and Your strong hand; for who [is] a god in the heavens or in earth who does according to Your works and according to Your might?
O Thanei chungnung Pakai, nangman keima nasohpa henga naban thahat naki lahsah in ka musoh tai. Koiham pathen dang van leh leiset a hitobang thil kidang bol thei ding?
25 Please let me pass over and see the good land which [is] beyond the Jordan, this good hill-country, and Lebanon.
Nalung ahileh, Jordan hi nei galkai sah in lang, gamhoi tah Lebanon molsang ho nei musah tan, ati.
26 And YHWH shows Himself angry with me for your sake, and has not listened to me, and YHWH says to me, Enough of you; do not add to speak to Me about this thing anymore;
Hinlah nangho jeh in Pakai ka henga alungphamo tan, ka taona angaisah tapoi. Chuin aman aseiyin, aphatai! Imadang seibe datan, ati.
27 go up [to] the top of Pisgah, and lift up your eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and see with your eyes, for you do not pass over this Jordan;
Pisgah molchunga kaltouvin lang, gam jouse gavetan, amavang Jordan vadung na galkai lou ding ahi.
28 and charge Joshua, and strengthen him, and harden him, for he passes over before this people, and he causes them to inherit the land which you see.
Nangma khel in, Joshua thaneina pen lang hilchah jotan, ajeh chu Joshua in mipi aboncha Jordan chan agalkai pia, alam kai ding ahi. Masanga namu gam jouse aboncha aman mipi apeh ding ahi.
29 And we dwell in a valley opposite Beth-Peor.”
Chuin Beth-peor kiti muna chun kaum tauvin ahi.
