< Deuteronomy 28 >
1 “And it has been, if you listen diligently to the voice of your God YHWH, to observe to do all His commands which I am commanding you today, that your God YHWH has made you highest above all the nations of the earth,

47 Because that you have not served your God YHWH with joy and with gladness of heart, because of the abundance of all things—

48 you have served your enemies, whom YHWH sends against you, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in lack of all things; and He has put a yoke of iron on your neck until He has destroyed you.

56 The tender woman in you, and the delicate, who has not tried the sole of her foot to place on the ground because of delicateness and because of tenderness—her eye is evil against the husband of her bosom, and against her son, and against her daughter,
Palungsawk moe, poek naem pongah, long cawh vai ai nongpata doeh caak han tawn ai pongah, a palung ih sava, a capa hoi a canu nuiah poeksethaih palungthin to tawn tih,

63 And it has been, as YHWH has rejoiced over you to do you good and to multiply you, so YHWH rejoices over you to destroy you and to lay you waste; and you have been pulled away from off the ground to where you are going in to possess it;
Nang khosak na hoih moe, nang pung tahang naah, Angraeng anghoe baktih toengah, Angraeng loe nang to amrosak moe, tidoeh tawn ai ah ohsak hanah doeh anghoe; qawktoep han na caehhaih prae thung hoiah anih mah nang to amrosak tih.

To pacoengah Angraeng mah, long boenghaih maeto bang hoi kalah maeto bang khoek to, kaminawk salakah na haek o boih tih; to ahmuen ah nangmah hoi nam panawk mah panoek o vai ai ih, thing hoi sak moe, thlung hoiah sak ih kalah sithawnawk to na bok o tih.
65 And you do not rest among those nations, indeed, there is no resting place for the sole of your foot, and YHWH has given to you a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and grief of soul there;
Nang loe to prae kaminawk salakah anghakhaih na hnu mak ai; na khokpadae suekhaih kakhawt anghakhaih ahmuen mataeng doeh na tawn mak ai; toe Angraeng mah to ahmuen ah tasoehhaih palungthin, mik thazokhaih hoi palungsethaih to na paek tih.

67 in the morning you say, O that it were evening! And in the evening you say, O that it were morning! (From the fear of your heart, with which you are afraid, and from the sight of your eyes which you see.)
Zithaih palungthin, mik hoi hnuk ih hmuen mah zithaih to paek pongah, khawnthaw ah niduem lai nasoe, tiah na thui ueloe, duembang ah khodai lai nasoe, tiah na thui tih.
68 And YHWH has brought you back to Egypt in ships, by the way of which I said to you, You do not add to see it anymore; and you have sold yourselves to your enemies there, for menservants and for maidservants, and there is no buyer.”
Hae loklam na hnu let mak ai boeh, tiah kang thuih ih loklam hoiah, Angraeng mah nang to, Izip prae ah palong pui hoiah na thak let tih, to prae ah misong nongpa hoi misong nongpata ah oh hanah, nangcae to misanawk khaeah na zaw tih; toe mi mah doeh nangcae to qan mak ai.
