< Deuteronomy 27 >

1 And Moses and [the] elderly of Israel command the people, saying, “Keep all the command which I am commanding you today;
Mose àti àwọn àgbàgbà Israẹli pàṣẹ fún àwọn ènìyàn pé, “Pa gbogbo àṣẹ tí mo fún ọ lónìí mọ́.
2 and it has been, in the day that you pass over the Jordan to the land which your God YHWH is giving to you, that you have raised up great stones for yourself, and plastered them with plaster,
Nígbà tí o bá ti kọjá a Jordani sí inú ilẹ̀ tí Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ ń fún ọ, gbé kalẹ̀ lára àwọn òkúta ńlá àti aṣọ ìlekè rẹ pẹ̀lú ẹfun.
3 and written on them all the words of this law in your passing over, so that you go into the land which your God YHWH is giving to you—a land flowing with milk and honey, as YHWH, God of your fathers, has spoken to you.
Kí ìwọ kí ó kọ gbogbo ọ̀rọ̀ òfin yìí sára wọn nígbà tí ìwọ bá ti ń rékọjá láti wọ ilẹ̀ tí Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ ń fún ọ, ilẹ̀ tí ó ń sàn fún wàrà àti oyin, gẹ́gẹ́ bí Olúwa Ọlọ́run àwọn baba yín ti ṣèlérí fún ọ.
4 And it has been, in your passing over the Jordan, you raise up these stones which I am commanding you today, in Mount Ebal, and you have plastered them with plaster,
Àti nígbà tí o bá ti kọjá a Jordani, kí o gbé òkúta yìí kalẹ̀ sórí i Ebali, bí mo ti pa à láṣẹ fún ọ lónìí, kí o sì wọ̀ wọ́n pẹ̀lú ẹfun.
5 and built an altar there to your God YHWH, an altar of stones; you do not wave iron over them.
Kọ́ pẹpẹ síbẹ̀ fún Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ, pẹpẹ òkúta. Má ṣe lo ohun èlò irin lórí wọn.
6 You build the altar of your God YHWH [with] complete stones, and have caused burnt-offerings to ascend on it to your God YHWH,
Kí ìwọ kí ó mọ pẹpẹ pẹ̀lú òkúta àìgbẹ́ fún Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ, kí ìwọ kí ó sì máa rú ẹbọ sísun ni orí rẹ̀ fún Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ.
7 and sacrificed peace-offerings, and eaten there, and rejoiced before your God YHWH,
Rú ẹbọ àlàáfíà níbẹ̀ kí o jẹ wọ́n, kí o sì yọ̀ níwájú Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ.
8 and written on the stones all the words of this law, well engraved.”
Kí o sì kọ gbogbo àwọn ọ̀rọ̀ òfin yìí ketekete sórí òkúta tí ó ti gbé kalẹ̀.”
9 And Moses speaks—the priests, the Levites, also—to all Israel, saying, “Keep silent and hear, O Israel: This day you have become a people for your God YHWH;
Nígbà náà ni Mose àti àwọn àlùfáà tí wọ́n jẹ́ ọmọ Lefi, sọ fún Israẹli pé, “Ẹ dákẹ́ ẹ̀yin Israẹli, kí ẹ sì fetísílẹ̀! O ti wá di ènìyàn Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ báyìí.
10 and you have listened to the voice of your God YHWH, and done His commands and His statutes which I am commanding you today.”
Gbọ́rọ̀ sí Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ kí o sì tẹ̀lé àṣẹ àti òfin rẹ̀ tí mo ń fi fún ọ lónìí.”
11 And Moses commands the people on that day, saying,
Ní ọjọ́ kan náà Mose pàṣẹ fún àwọn ènìyàn pé.
12 “These stand on Mount Gerizzim to bless the people, in your passing over the Jordan: Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin.
Nígbà tí ìwọ bá ti kọjá a Jordani, àwọn ẹ̀yà yìí yóò dúró lórí òkè Gerisimu láti súre fún àwọn ènìyàn: Simeoni, Lefi, Juda, Isakari, Josẹfu àti Benjamini.
13 And these stand, for the reviling, on Mount Ebal: Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.”
Àwọn ẹ̀yà yìí yóò dúró lórí òkè Ebali láti gé ègún: Reubeni, Gadi, àti Aṣeri, àti Sebuluni, Dani, àti Naftali.
14 And the Levites have answered and said to every man of Israel [with] a loud voice:
Àwọn ẹ̀yà Lefi yóò ké sí gbogbo ènìyàn Israẹli ní ohùn òkè:
15 “Cursed [is] the man who makes a carved and molten image, an abomination [to] YHWH, work of the hands of a craftsman, and has put [it] in a secret place.” And all the people have answered and said, “Amen.”
“Ègún ni fún ọkùnrin náà tí ó fín ère tàbí gbẹ́ òrìṣà ohun tí ó jẹ́ ìríra níwájú Olúwa, iṣẹ́ ọwọ́ oníṣọ̀nà tí ó gbé kalẹ̀ ní ìkọ̀kọ̀.” Nígbà náà ni gbogbo ènìyàn wọ̀nyí yóò wí pé, “Àmín!”
16 “Cursed [is] he who is making light of his father and his mother.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Ègún ni fún ọkùnrin náà tí ó dójútì baba tàbí ìyá rẹ̀.” Nígbà náà ni gbogbo ènìyàn wọ̀nyí yóò wí pé, “Àmín!”
17 “Cursed [is] he who is removing his neighbor’s border.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Ègún ni fún ọkùnrin náà tí ó yí òkúta ààlà aládùúgbò o rẹ̀.” Nígbà náà ni gbogbo ènìyàn wọ̀nyí yóò wí pé, “Àmín!”
18 “Cursed [is] he who is causing the blind to err in the way.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Ègún ni fún ọkùnrin náà tí ó ṣi afọ́jú lọ́nà ní ojú ọ̀nà.” Nígbà náà ni gbogbo ènìyàn wọ̀nyí yóò wí pé, “Àmín!”
19 “Cursed [is] he who is turning aside the judgment of fatherless, sojourner, and widow.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Ègún ni fún ọkùnrin náà tí ó yí ìdájọ́ po fún àlejò, aláìní baba tàbí opó.” Nígbà náà ni gbogbo ènìyàn wọ̀nyí yóò wí pé, “Àmín!”
20 “Cursed [is] he who is lying with his father’s wife, for he has uncovered his father’s skirt.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Ègún ni fún ọkùnrin náà tí ó dùbúlẹ̀ pẹ̀lú ìyàwó baba rẹ̀, nítorí ó ti dójúti ibùsùn baba rẹ̀.” Nígbà náà ni gbogbo ènìyàn wọ̀nyí yóò wí pé, “Àmín!”
21 “Cursed [is] he who is lying with any beast.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Ègún ni fún ọkùnrin náà tí ó ní ìbálòpọ̀ pẹ̀lú ẹranko.” Nígbà náà ni gbogbo ènìyàn wọ̀nyí yóò wí pé, “Àmín!”
22 “Cursed [is] he who is lying with his sister, daughter of his father or daughter of his mother.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Ègún ni fún ọkùnrin náà tí ó dùbúlẹ̀ pẹ̀lú arábìnrin rẹ̀, ọmọbìnrin baba rẹ̀ tàbí ọmọbìnrin ìyá rẹ̀.” Nígbà náà ni gbogbo ènìyàn wọ̀nyí yóò wí pé, “Àmín!”
23 “Cursed [is] he who is lying with his mother-in-law.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Ègún ni fún ọkùnrin náà tí ó dùbúlẹ̀ pẹ̀lú ìyá ìyàwó o rẹ̀.” Nígbà náà ni gbogbo ènìyàn wọ̀nyí yóò wí pé, “Àmín!”
24 “Cursed [is] he who is striking his neighbor in secret.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Ègún ni fún ọkùnrin náà tí ó pa aládùúgbò rẹ̀ ní ìkọ̀kọ̀.” Nígbà náà ni gbogbo ènìyàn wọ̀nyí yóò wí pé, “Àmín!”
25 “Cursed [is] he who is taking a bribe to strike a person, innocent blood.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Ègún ni fún ọkùnrin náà tí ó gba àbẹ̀tẹ́lẹ̀ láti pa ènìyàn láìjẹ̀bi.” Nígbà náà ni gbogbo ènìyàn wọ̀nyí yóò wí pé, “Àmín!”
26 “Cursed [is] he who does not establish the words of this law, to do them.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Ègún ni fún ọkùnrin náà tí kò gbé ọ̀rọ̀ òfin yìí ró nípa ṣíṣe wọ́n.” Nígbà náà ni gbogbo ènìyàn wọ̀nyí yóò wí pé, “Àmín!”
