< Deuteronomy 27 >
1 And Moses and [the] elderly of Israel command the people, saying, “Keep all the command which I am commanding you today;

2 and it has been, in the day that you pass over the Jordan to the land which your God YHWH is giving to you, that you have raised up great stones for yourself, and plastered them with plaster,
“Ne ètso Yɔdan tɔsisi la, eye nèɖo Ŋugbedodonyigba la dzi la, ɖe kpe gãwo tso tɔsisi la me, eye nàtsɔ wo awɔ ŋkuɖodzikpe enumake ɖe tɔsisi la ƒe akpa kemɛ le Ebal to la gbɔ. Si akalo na kpeawo,
3 and written on them all the words of this law in your passing over, so that you go into the land which your God YHWH is giving to you—a land flowing with milk and honey, as YHWH, God of your fathers, has spoken to you.
eye nàŋlɔ Mawu ƒe seawo katã ɖe kpeawo dzi, gbe si gbe nèɖo tɔ la godo be nàyi anyigba si Yehowa, wò Mawu la le na wò ge la dzi, anyigba si dzi ‘notsi kple anyitsi bɔ ɖo,’ abe ale si Yehowa, fofowòwo ƒe Mawu la do ŋugbee ene.
4 And it has been, in your passing over the Jordan, you raise up these stones which I am commanding you today, in Mount Ebal, and you have plastered them with plaster,
“Ne ètso Yɔdan tɔsisi la la, ɖo kpe siawo ɖe Ebal to la dzi, abe ale si megblɔ na wò ene, eye nàsi akalo na wo.
5 and built an altar there to your God YHWH, an altar of stones; you do not wave iron over them.
Tu vɔsamlekpui ɖe afi ma na Yehowa, wò Mawu la kple kpe siwo womefu kple gakpo o.
6 You build the altar of your God YHWH [with] complete stones, and have caused burnt-offerings to ascend on it to your God YHWH,
Tu vɔsamlekpui la kple kpe siwo womekpa o, eye nàsa numevɔ na Yehowa, wò Mawu la ɖe vɔsamlekpui la dzi.
7 and sacrificed peace-offerings, and eaten there, and rejoiced before your God YHWH,
“Sa ŋutifafavɔ hã ɖe edzi, eye nàɖu nu kple dzidzɔ le afi ma le Yehowa wò Mawu ƒe ŋkume.
8 and written on the stones all the words of this law, well engraved.”
Ŋlɔ se siawo katã, ɖe sia ɖe me nakɔ nyuie ɖe ŋkuɖodzikpe sia dzi.”
9 And Moses speaks—the priests, the Levites, also—to all Israel, saying, “Keep silent and hear, O Israel: This day you have become a people for your God YHWH;
Mose kple nunɔla siwo nye Levitɔwo gblɔ nya siawo na Israelviwo katã be, “O! Israel, ɖo to! Egbe la, èzu Yehowa, wò Mawu la ƒe dukɔ,
10 and you have listened to the voice of your God YHWH, and done His commands and His statutes which I am commanding you today.”
eya ta ele be nàdze se siwo katã mede na wò la dzi wɔwɔ gɔme egbea.”
11 And Moses commands the people on that day, saying,
Mose de se siawo na Israelviwo gbe ma gbe ke.
12 “These stand on Mount Gerizzim to bless the people, in your passing over the Jordan: Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin.
“Ne mietso Yɔdan tɔsisi la, eye mieɖo ŋugbedodonyigba la dzi la, ame siwo atsi tsitre ɖe Gerizim to la dzi, ayra dukɔ la woe nye Simeon, Levi, Yuda, Isaka, Yosef kple Benyamin ƒe dzidzimeviwo,
13 And these stand, for the reviling, on Mount Ebal: Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.”
eye Ruben, Gad, Aser, Zebulon, Dan, Naftali ƒe dzidzimeviwo atsi tsitre ɖe Ebal to la dzi aƒo fi ade ameawo.
14 And the Levites have answered and said to every man of Israel [with] a loud voice:
Ekema Levitɔwo atsi tsitre ɖe akpa eveawo dome ado ɣli agblɔ na Israel dukɔ blibo la be,
15 “Cursed [is] the man who makes a carved and molten image, an abomination [to] YHWH, work of the hands of a craftsman, and has put [it] in a secret place.” And all the people have answered and said, “Amen.”
“Ame sia ame si awɔ legba, eye wòasubɔe nenye le ɣaɣlaƒe hã, nenye aklamakpakpɛ loo alo nu si wololõ ga tsɔ wɔe, esi mawu siwo katã wowɔ kple asi nye nu si Yehowa lé fui ta la, Mawu ƒe fiƒode nava nu siawo wɔlawo dzi.” Eye ameawo katã ado ɣli be, “Amen!”
16 “Cursed [is] he who is making light of his father and his mother.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Mawu ƒe fiƒode nava ame sia ame si ado vlo fofoa alo dadaa la dzi.” Eye ameawo katã ado ɣli be, “Amen!”
17 “Cursed [is] he who is removing his neighbor’s border.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Mawu ƒe fiƒode nava ame sia ame si aɖɔli teƒe na liƒoti le eya ŋutɔ ƒe anyigba kple nɔvia tɔ dome la dzi.” Eye ameawo katã ado ɣli be, “Amen; neva eme nenema!”
18 “Cursed [is] he who is causing the blind to err in the way.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Mawu ƒe fiƒode nava ame sia ame si awɔ ŋkuagbãtɔ aɖe ƒe numakpɔmakpɔ ŋu dɔ wòazu viɖe na eya ŋutɔ la dzi.” Eye ameawo katã ado ɣli be, “Amen; neva eme nenema!”
19 “Cursed [is] he who is turning aside the judgment of fatherless, sojourner, and widow.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Mawu ƒe fiƒode nava ame sia ame si aba amedzro, tsyɔ̃evi kple ahosi aɖe la dzi.” Eye ameawo katã ado ɣli be, “Amen; neva eme nenema!”
20 “Cursed [is] he who is lying with his father’s wife, for he has uncovered his father’s skirt.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Mawu ƒe fiƒode nava ame sia ame si awɔ ahasi kple fofoa srɔ̃wo dometɔ ɖeka la dzi, elabena fofoa tɔe.” Eye ameawo katã ado ɣli be, “Amen; neva eme nenema!”
21 “Cursed [is] he who is lying with any beast.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Mawu ƒe fiƒode nava ame sia ame si adɔ lã aɖe gbɔ la dzi.” Eye ameawo katã ado ɣli be, “Amen; neva eme nenema!”
22 “Cursed [is] he who is lying with his sister, daughter of his father or daughter of his mother.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Mawu ƒe fiƒode nava ŋutsu si adɔ eya ŋutɔ nɔvinyɔnu, eɖanye fofovia alo dadavia gbɔ la dzi.” Eye ameawo katã ado ɣli be, “Amen; neva eme nenema!”
23 “Cursed [is] he who is lying with his mother-in-law.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Mawu ƒe fiƒode nava ame sia ame si ade asi lɔ̃xoa ŋu la dzi.” Eye ameawo katã ado ɣli be, “Amen; neva eme nenema!”
24 “Cursed [is] he who is striking his neighbor in secret.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Mawu ƒe fiƒode nava ame sia ame si awu nɔvia le adzame la dzi.” Eye ameawo katã ado ɣli be, “Amen: neva eme nenema!”
25 “Cursed [is] he who is taking a bribe to strike a person, innocent blood.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Mawu ƒe fiƒode nava ame sia ame si axɔ zãnu be yeawu ame maɖifɔ la dzi.” Eye ameawo katã ado ɣli be, “Amen; neva eme nenema!”
26 “Cursed [is] he who does not establish the words of this law, to do them.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Mawu ƒe fiƒode nava ame sia ame si mawɔ se siawo katã dzi o la dzi.” Eye ameawo katã agblɔ be, “Amen!”
