< Deuteronomy 27 >
1 And Moses and [the] elderly of Israel command the people, saying, “Keep all the command which I am commanding you today;

2 and it has been, in the day that you pass over the Jordan to the land which your God YHWH is giving to you, that you have raised up great stones for yourself, and plastered them with plaster,

3 and written on them all the words of this law in your passing over, so that you go into the land which your God YHWH is giving to you—a land flowing with milk and honey, as YHWH, God of your fathers, has spoken to you.

4 And it has been, in your passing over the Jordan, you raise up these stones which I am commanding you today, in Mount Ebal, and you have plastered them with plaster,

5 and built an altar there to your God YHWH, an altar of stones; you do not wave iron over them.

6 You build the altar of your God YHWH [with] complete stones, and have caused burnt-offerings to ascend on it to your God YHWH,

7 and sacrificed peace-offerings, and eaten there, and rejoiced before your God YHWH,

8 and written on the stones all the words of this law, well engraved.”

9 And Moses speaks—the priests, the Levites, also—to all Israel, saying, “Keep silent and hear, O Israel: This day you have become a people for your God YHWH;

10 and you have listened to the voice of your God YHWH, and done His commands and His statutes which I am commanding you today.”

11 And Moses commands the people on that day, saying,

12 “These stand on Mount Gerizzim to bless the people, in your passing over the Jordan: Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin.

13 And these stand, for the reviling, on Mount Ebal: Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.”

14 And the Levites have answered and said to every man of Israel [with] a loud voice:

15 “Cursed [is] the man who makes a carved and molten image, an abomination [to] YHWH, work of the hands of a craftsman, and has put [it] in a secret place.” And all the people have answered and said, “Amen.”
“Okwongʼ ngʼat moloso kido milamo, kata nyiseche mopa, ma en gima mono e nyim Jehova Nyasaye, tij lwedo mar japecho kendo mochungi kama opondo.” Eka ji duto nodwok niya, “Amin!”
16 “Cursed [is] he who is making light of his father and his mother.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Okwongʼ ngʼat ma ok oluoro wuon kata min.” Eka ji duto nodwok niya, “Amin!”
17 “Cursed [is] he who is removing his neighbor’s border.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Okwongʼ ngʼat masudo tongʼ mar jakiepe.” Eka ji duto nodwok niya, “Amin!”
18 “Cursed [is] he who is causing the blind to err in the way.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Okwongʼ ngʼat ma wito muofu e yo.” Eka ji duto nodwok niya, “Amin!”
19 “Cursed [is] he who is turning aside the judgment of fatherless, sojourner, and widow.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Okwongʼ ngʼat maketho buch japiny moro, nyathi kich kod dhako ma chwore otho.” Eka ji duto nodwok niya, “Amin!”
20 “Cursed [is] he who is lying with his father’s wife, for he has uncovered his father’s skirt.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Okwongʼ ngʼat ma terore gi chi wuon, nimar odwanyo kitanda wuon.” Eka ji duto nodwok niya, “Amin!”
21 “Cursed [is] he who is lying with any beast.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Okwongʼ ngʼat ma oterore gi chiayo.” Eka ji duto nodwok niya, “Amin!”
22 “Cursed [is] he who is lying with his sister, daughter of his father or daughter of his mother.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Okwongʼ ngʼat ma terore gi nyamin kata nyar wuon kata nyar min mare.” Eka ji duto nodwok niya, “Amin!”
23 “Cursed [is] he who is lying with his mother-in-law.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Okwongʼ ngʼat ma oterore gi mar-mare.” Eka ji duto nodwok niya, “Amin!”
24 “Cursed [is] he who is striking his neighbor in secret.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Okwongʼ ngʼat ma onego nyawadgi lingʼ-lingʼ.” Eka ji duto nodwok niya, “Amin!”
25 “Cursed [is] he who is taking a bribe to strike a person, innocent blood.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Okwongʼ ngʼat ma okawo asoya mondo oneg ngʼat maonge ketho.” Eka ji duto nodwok niya, “Amin!”
26 “Cursed [is] he who does not establish the words of this law, to do them.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
“Okwongʼ ngʼat ma ok orito weche mag chikni kata luwogi ka ojiwogi.” Eka ji duto nodwok niya, “Amin!”
