< Deuteronomy 27 >
1 And Moses and [the] elderly of Israel command the people, saying, “Keep all the command which I am commanding you today;
梅瑟與以色列的長老吩咐人民說:「你們應遵守我今天吩咐你們的一切命令。
2 and it has been, in the day that you pass over the Jordan to the land which your God YHWH is giving to you, that you have raised up great stones for yourself, and plastered them with plaster,
在你們過約但河,進入上主你的天主賜給你的土地的那一天,應豎立幾塊大石,塗上石灰;
3 and written on them all the words of this law in your passing over, so that you go into the land which your God YHWH is giving to you—a land flowing with milk and honey, as YHWH, God of your fathers, has spoken to you.
在你過河進入上主你的天主賜給你的地方,即上主你祖先的天主許給你的流奶流蜜的地方之後,要立即將這法律的一切話刻在上面。
4 And it has been, in your passing over the Jordan, you raise up these stones which I am commanding you today, in Mount Ebal, and you have plastered them with plaster,
所以,你們一過了約但河,就該照我今日吩咐你們的,在厄巴耳山上豎立這些石頭,塗上石灰;
5 and built an altar there to your God YHWH, an altar of stones; you do not wave iron over them.
並在那裏給上主你的天主建築一座祭壇,一座未用斧鑿的石頭修的祭壇;
6 You build the altar of your God YHWH [with] complete stones, and have caused burnt-offerings to ascend on it to your God YHWH,
應用未加入人工的石頭建築上主你的天主的祭壇,在上面給上主你的天主奉獻全燔祭,
7 and sacrificed peace-offerings, and eaten there, and rejoiced before your God YHWH,
祭獻和平祭,並在那裏設宴,在上主你的天主面前歡樂。
8 and written on the stones all the words of this law, well engraved.”
在這些石頭上,應清清楚楚刻上這法律的一切話。」
9 And Moses speaks—the priests, the Levites, also—to all Israel, saying, “Keep silent and hear, O Israel: This day you have become a people for your God YHWH;
梅瑟和肋未司祭對全以色列人說:「以色列人! 你們應靜默細聽:你今天既成了上主你的天主的人民,
10 and you have listened to the voice of your God YHWH, and done His commands and His statutes which I am commanding you today.”
就應聽從上主你的天主的話,遵行我今日給你吩咐的上主的誡命和法令。」
11 And Moses commands the people on that day, saying,
梅瑟在那一天又吩咐人民說:「
12 “These stand on Mount Gerizzim to bless the people, in your passing over the Jordan: Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin.
你們過了約但河以後,應站在革黎斤山上祝福人民的,是西默盎、肋未、猶大、依撒加爾、若瑟和本雅明;
13 And these stand, for the reviling, on Mount Ebal: Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.”
站在厄巴耳山上宣布詛咒的,是勒烏本、加得、阿協爾、則步隆、丹和納斐塔里。
14 And the Levites have answered and said to every man of Israel [with] a loud voice:
肋未人應大聲向所有的以色列人喊說:
15 “Cursed [is] the man who makes a carved and molten image, an abomination [to] YHWH, work of the hands of a craftsman, and has put [it] in a secret place.” And all the people have answered and said, “Amen.”
那製造上主所憎惡的雕像或鑄像,並將匠人的作品,放在暗處的人,是可咒罵的。全體人民應答說:阿們。
16 “Cursed [is] he who is making light of his father and his mother.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
蔑視父親和母親的,是可咒罵的。全體人民應答說:阿們。
17 “Cursed [is] he who is removing his neighbor’s border.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
移動鄰人地界的,是可咒罵的。全體人民應答說:阿們。
18 “Cursed [is] he who is causing the blind to err in the way.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
領瞎子走錯路的,是可咒罵的。全體人民應答說:阿們。
19 “Cursed [is] he who is turning aside the judgment of fatherless, sojourner, and widow.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
侵犯外方人、孤兒和寡婦權利的,是可咒罵的。全體人民應答說:阿們。
20 “Cursed [is] he who is lying with his father’s wife, for he has uncovered his father’s skirt.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
與父親的妻子同寢的,是可咒罵的,因為他揭開了父親的衣襟。全體人民應答說:阿們。
21 “Cursed [is] he who is lying with any beast.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
與獸交合的,是可咒罵的。全體人民應答說:阿們。
22 “Cursed [is] he who is lying with his sister, daughter of his father or daughter of his mother.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
與同父異母,或同母異父的姊妹同寢的,是可咒罵的。全體人民應答說:阿們。
23 “Cursed [is] he who is lying with his mother-in-law.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
與岳母同寢的,是可咒罵的。全體人民應答說:阿們。
24 “Cursed [is] he who is striking his neighbor in secret.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
暗殺鄰人的,是可咒罵的。全體人民應答說:阿們。
25 “Cursed [is] he who is taking a bribe to strike a person, innocent blood.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
接受賄賂去殺害無辜的,是可咒罵的。全體人民應答說:阿們。
26 “Cursed [is] he who does not establish the words of this law, to do them.” And all the people have said, “Amen.”
不堅持這法律的話而執行的,是可咒罵的。全體人民應答說:阿們。
