< Deuteronomy 26 >

1 “And it has been, when you come into the land which your God YHWH is giving to you [for] an inheritance, and you have possessed it and dwelt in it,
Nangho Pakai, Pathen in napehnau gamsunga nachenlut tenguleh,
2 that you have taken from the first of all the fruits of the ground, which you bring in out of your land which your God YHWH is giving to you, and have put [it] in a basket, and gone to the place which your God YHWH chooses to cause His Name to dwell there.
Pakai, Pathen in napeh'u, nalou lhosoh-gau masa akona phabep khat nakoidoh diu, hichengse chu pucha sunga nakoi khom diu, chuteng Pakai, Pathen in adeilhenna mun achu nachea'uva naga lhut diu ahi.
3 And you have come to the priest who is in those days, and have said to him, I have declared to your God YHWH today that I have come into the land which YHWH has sworn to our fathers to give to us;
Hiche laimuna thempu natongpa koma chu nache uva, hitia hi ahenga nagasei diu ahi. Tunin keiman Pakai, Pathen henga ka phondoh ahitai, ajeh chu Pakai, Pathen in ipului khang uva pat aki tepna gamsunga keima ka hung lhung tai, tia nasei diu ahi.
4 and the priest has taken the basket out of your hand and placed it before the altar of your God YHWH.
Hiteng chule, Thempu pan jong na pocha uchu na doplhah peh diu, hichu Pakai, Pathen maicham maiya nagakoi peh diu ahi.
5 And you have answered and said before your God YHWH, My father [is] a perishing Aramean! And he goes down to Egypt, and sojourns there with few men, and becomes a great, mighty, and populous nation there;
Nanghon Pakai, Pathen henga hitia hi nasei diu, keima pupa chu Ram mi anahin, hiche muna chu khopem ahin, ami jeng jong lhomcha bou ahi. Chomlou kah in Egypt gamsunga nam lentah ahung hidoh tan, ahung hatdoh jeng tan ahileh mihem jeng jong tampi ahung hidoh tan ahi.
6 and the Egyptians do us evil, and afflict us, and put hard service on us;
Chujouvin Egypt miten ei sugim lheh jeng tauvin, gentheina tin chang eithoh sah uvin, soh le kol in hinkho iman sah uvin ahi.
7 and we cry to YHWH, God of our fathers, and YHWH hears our voice, and sees our affliction, and our labor, and our oppression;
Chuin kapu, kapa luiteu khanga pat, Pathen henga chun ka tao un, Pakaiyin ka taonau awgin ajatan ahileh, ka thoh gimna jouseu le gim hesoh a ka umna jouseu amusoh kei tan ahi.
8 and YHWH brings us out from Egypt by a strong hand, and by an outstretched arm, and by great fear, and by signs, and by wonders,
Chutah chun Pakaiyin athahat apan in, abanjang thahat apantan, kichat umtah leh melchihna kidang tamtah tothon Egypt gamsunga kon chun Pathen in eihin puidoh tauvin ahi.
9 and He brings us to this place, and gives this land to us—a land flowing with milk and honey.
Hichea kon chun eihin pui galkai uvin ahileh, khoiju le bongnoi lonna gamsunga chun ka hung galkai lhung tauvin ahi.
10 And now, behold, I have brought in the first of the fruits of the ground which you have given to me, O YHWH. (And you have placed it before your God YHWH, and bowed yourself before your God YHWH,
Tun Pakai vetan, nagman nei peh'u leiset gamasa chengse kahin lhut tai. Chuteng leh Pakai, Pathen angsunga hi natun doh diu, Pakai, Pathen chu chibai naboh diu ahi.
11 and rejoiced in all the good which your God YHWH has given to you and to your house—you, and the Levite, and the sojourner who [is] in your midst.)
Pakai, Pathen akona thilpeh jouse hin kipana nachan sah diu, nangho nahiu vin, Levi mite ahin chule nalah uva hung kholjin miho jouse jaona na kipa soh kei diu ahi.
12 When you complete to tithe all the tithe of your increase in the third year, the year of the tithe, then you have given to the Levite, to the sojourner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, and they have eaten within your gates and been satisfied,
Chule hopsom pehna dinga, kum thum sunga peh ding dol chengse nasim toh soh kei diu, hichengse chu Levi mite ahin, nulou palou, meithai ho dinga na khindoh ding, na khopi sung'uva cheng jousen aneh uva va sohkei diu ahi.
13 and you have said before your God YHWH, I have put away the separated thing out of the house, and have also given it to the Levite, and to the sojourner, and to the orphan, and to the widow, according to all Your command which You have commanded me; I have not passed over from Your commands, nor have I forgotten.
Chule Pakai, Pathen angsunga nasei diu, ka insunga kon in ijakai atheng jouse chu ka koidoh soh kei tan ahi. Hiti chun, athil theng jouse akon chun Levi mite, kholjin mi, nulou, palou chule chaga hole meithai ho kape tan ahi. Na thupeh abonchan ka subukim soh keiyun ahi.
14 I have not eaten of it in my affliction, nor have I put away of it for uncleanness, nor have I given of it for the dead; I have listened to the voice of my God YHWH; I have done according to all that You have commanded me;
Kaboi pet tah jeng in jong hopsom ka mangcha hih nai, atheng lou dinmuna kaum laiyin jong hopsom neocha jong ka kilah hih uve, hopsom kiti hi mithi opnan jong thilpeh a kamang khapouvin, keiho hin Pakai thupeh abonchan kajui jing un, nangma thupeh bang bang in ijakai ka bol kimsoh keiyun ahi.
15 look from Your holy habitation, from the heavens, and bless Your people Israel and the ground which You have given to us, as You have sworn to our fathers—a land flowing [with] milk and honey.
Na umna muntheng laiya kon chun neihin vetan, chule nami Israelte napehna gamsunga hin phatthei lhingset hin boh tauvin, ajeh chu hiche gamsung hi khoiju leh bongnoi lonna gam ahin, kapu kappa teu khang apat eipeh sau ana hitai, tia nasei ding ahi.
16 This day your God YHWH is commanding you to do these statutes and judgments; and you have listened and done them with all your heart and with all your soul.
Hijeh chun Pakai, Pathen in tuni hin nanghon hiche chondan josue hi na jui diuvin nape tauve. Hicheng ho jouse hi nahinkho lhum keiyuva natoh doh nadiuva limgeh chaa naum diu ahi.
17 Today you have proclaimed YHWH to be to you for God, that [you are] to walk in His ways, and to keep His statutes, and His commands, and His judgments, and to listen to His voice.
Ajeh chu nanghon hiche hi tunia, Pakai thudola naphon doh'u ahitan, nangho dia tonsot Pathen ahijing in, ama lampi jinga na lamlhah diu chule achonna dan jouse le athupeh aboncha najui kimsoh kei diu ahi.
18 And today YHWH has proclaimed you to be to Him for a people, a peculiar treasure, as He has spoken to you, that [you are] to keep all His commands,
Pakaiyin hiti hin aseiyin, na chung chang thua aphongdoh in, nang hohi aman aphondoh banga amite mong mong ama dia lhentum chu nahi diu, athupeh jouse hi nanit bukim soh kei diu ahi.
19 so as to make you highest above all the nations whom He has made for a praise, and for a name, and for beauty, and for your being a holy people to your God YHWH, as He has spoken.”
Chuteng Pakaiyin, asemsa vannoi leiset mite lah a choi-atna dim, jabolna dimset a natun doh diu ahitai. Pakaiyin aseidohsa bang banga nang hohi nam thengte nahi jing diu ahi.
