Deuteronomy 16
1 “Observe the month of Abib, and you have made a Passover to your God YHWH, for in the month of Abib your God YHWH has brought you out of Egypt by night;
Håll den månaden Abib, att du gör Herranom dinom Gud Passah; förty uti Abibs månad hafver Herren din Gud fört dig utur Egypten om natten.
2 and you have sacrificed a Passover to your God YHWH, of the flock and of the herd, in the place which YHWH chooses to cause His Name to dwell there.
Och du skall slagta Herranom dinom Gud Passah, får och fä, på det rum, som Herren utväljandes varder, att hans Namn der bo skall.
3 You do not eat any fermented thing with it; [for] seven days you eat unleavened things with it, bread of affliction (for you have come out of the land of Egypt in haste), so that you remember the day of your coming out of the land of Egypt all [the] days of your life;
Du skall intet syradt bröd äta i de högtidene. I sju dagar skall du äta osyradt bedröfvelsens bröd; förty med hast gick du utur Egypti land; på det att du skall ihågkomma den dagen, som du drog utur Egypti land, i alla dina lifsdagar.
4 and leaven is not seen with you in all your border [for] seven days, and there does not remain [any] of the flesh which you sacrifice at evening on the first day until morning.
I sju dagar skall intet syradt bröd sedt varda i alla dina landsändar; och skall intet af köttet, som på första dagen om aftonen slagtadt vardt, blifva qvart öfver nattena intill morgonen.
5 You are not able to sacrifice the Passover within any of your gates which your God YHWH is giving to you,
Du kan icke slagta Passah någorstädes i dinom portom, som Herren din Gud dig gifvit hafver;
6 except at the place which your God YHWH chooses to cause His Name to dwell—there you sacrifice the Passover in the evening, at the going in of the sun, the season of your coming out of Egypt;
Utan på det rum, som Herren din Gud utväljandes varder, att hans Namn der bo skall, der skall du slagta Passah, om aftonen när solen nedergången är, vid den tiden som du utur Egypten drogst.
7 and you have cooked and eaten in the place on which your God YHWH fixes, and have turned in the morning and gone to your tents;
Och du skall kokat, och ätat på det rum, som Herren din Gud utväljandes varder; och sedan om morgonen vända dig, och gå hem i dina hyddor.
8 [for] six days you eat unleavened things, and on the seventh day [is] a restraint to your God YHWH; you do no work.
I sex dagar skall du äta osyradt, och på sjunde dagen är Herrans dins Guds församling, då skall du intet arbete göra.
9 You number seven weeks for yourself; you begin to number seven weeks from the beginning of the sickle among the standing grain,
Sju veckor skall du räkna dig, och begynna räkna ifrå den dagen, när man kastar lian i sädena;
10 and you have observed the Celebration of Weeks to your God YHWH, a tribute of a free-will offering of your hand, which you give as your God YHWH blesses you.
Och skall hålla veckohögtid Herranom dinom Gud, att du gifver dina hands friviljoga gåfvo, efter som Herren din Gud dig välsignat hafver.
11 And you have rejoiced before your God YHWH, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your handmaid, and the Levite who [is] within your gates, and the sojourner, and the fatherless, and the widow, who [are] in your midst, in the place which your God YHWH chooses to cause His Name to dwell there,
Och du skall vara glad för Herranom dinom Gud, du och din son, din dotter, din tjenare, din tjenarinna, och Leviten som är i dina portar, främlingen, den faderlöse och enkan, som ibland dig äro, på det rum som Herren din Gud utväljandes varder, att hans Namn der bo skall.
12 and you have remembered that you have been a servant in Egypt, and have observed and done these statutes.
Och tänk uppå, att du hafver varit en träl i Egypten, att du håller och gör efter dessa buden.
13 You observe the Celebration of Shelters for yourself [for] seven days, in your ingathering of your threshing-floor and of your wine-vat;
Löfhyddohögtid skall du hålla i sju dagar, när du hafver insamlat af dinom loga, och af dinom press;
14 and you have rejoiced in your celebration, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your handmaid, and the Levite, and the sojourner, and the fatherless, and the widow, who [are] within your gates.
Och skall vara glad på dine högtid, du och din son, din dotter, din tjenare, din tjenarinna, Leviten, främlingen, den faderlöse och enkan, som i dina portar äro.
15 [For] seven days you celebrate before your God YHWH in the place which YHWH chooses, for your God YHWH blesses you in all your increase and in every work of your hands, and you have been only rejoicing.
I sju dagar skall du hålla den högtiden Herranom dinom Gud, på det rum som Herren din Gud dig utväljandes varder; ty Herren din Gud skall välsigna dig i allt det du inbergar, och i alla dina händers gerningar; derföre skall du vara glad.
16 Three times in a year all of your males appear before your God YHWH in the place which He chooses: in the Celebration of Unleavened Things, and in the Celebration of Weeks, and in the Celebration of Shelters; and they do not appear before YHWH empty;
Tre resor om året skall allt det mankön är ibland dig, komma fram för Herran din Gud, på det rum som han utväljandes varder, på osyrade bröds högtidene, på veckohögtidene, och på löfhyddohögtidene; icke skall han tomhändter komma fram för Herran;
17 each [gives] according to the gift of his hand, according to the blessing of your God YHWH, which He has given to you.
Hvar och en efter sine hands gåfvo, efter den välsignelse, som Herren din Gud dig gifvit hafver.
18 You set for yourself judges and authorities within all your gates which your God YHWH is giving to you, for your tribes; and they have judged the people [with] a righteous judgment.
Domare och ämbetsmän skall du sätta dig i allom dinom portom, som Herren din Gud dig gifvandes varder ibland dina slägter, att de måga döma folket med rättom dom.
19 You do not turn aside judgment; you do not discern faces, nor take a bribe, for the bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous.
Du skall icke böja rätten, och skall ock ingen person anse, eller mutor taga; förty mutor förblinda de visa, och förvända de rättfärdigas saker.
20 Righteousness—you pursue righteousness, so that you live and have possessed the land which your God YHWH is giving to you.
Du skall fara efter det rätt är; på det du må lefva, och besitta det land, som Herren din Gud dig gifvandes varder.
21 You do not plant an Asherah of any trees for yourself near the altar of your God YHWH, which you make for yourself,
Du skall icke någon lund af någrahanda trä plantera vid Herrans dins Guds altare, som du dig gör.
22 and you do not raise up any standing image for yourself which your God YHWH is hating.”
Du skall ingen stod uppresa, hvilket Herren din Gud hatar.
