< Deuteronomy 15 >
1 “At the end of seven years you make a release,
E giko mar higa mar abiriyo gope duto nyaka we.
2 and this [is] the matter of the release: every owner of a loan [is] to release his hand which he lifts up against his neighbor, he does not exact of his neighbor and of his brother, but has proclaimed a release to YHWH;
Ma e kaka onego time: Ngʼato ka ngʼato nyaka we gope ma ja-Israel wadgi nigo. Ok onego okaw chudo kuom ja-Israel kata wadgi nikech ndalo mar weyo gowi e nyim Jehova Nyasaye oselandi.

Jopinje mamoko to unyalo nyiso mondo ochulu gope ma gin-go, to gowi moro amora ma ja-Israel wadu nigo to nyaka iwene.
4 except there is an end [when] no poor [are] with you; for YHWH greatly blesses you in the land which your God YHWH is giving to you [for] an inheritance to possess it,
Kata kamano, ngʼat modhier ok onego bedi e dieru, nikech piny ma Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasachu miyou kod jou mondo ukaw kaka girkeni obiro gwedho,

mana ka urito chike duto mag Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasachu, kendo urito buchene duto ma amiyou kawuono.
6 For your God YHWH has blessed you as He has spoken to you; and you have lent [to] many nations, but you have not borrowed; and you have ruled over many nations, but they do not rule over you.
Kuom mano Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasachu biro gwedhou kaka osewacho, kendo ubiro olo ogendini mangʼeny mwandu to un ok unuol kuomgi. Ubiro bedo gi loch kuom pinje mamoko to un onge manobed kod loch kuomu.
7 When there is with you any poor of one of your brothers, in one of your cities, in your land which your God YHWH is giving to you, you do not harden your heart, nor shut your hand from your needy brother;
Ka nitie jachan e kind owete moa e mier mag piny ma Jehova Nyasaye nomiu, to kik ubed gi chuny mapek kata lep ma wuoyo marach ewi owadu modhierno.
8 for you certainly open your hand to him, and certainly lend him sufficiency for his lack which he lacks.
To beduru mangʼwon kendo uholgi gimoro amora magidwaro.
9 Take heed to yourself lest there be a worthless word in your heart, saying, The seventh year [is] near, the year of release; and your eye is evil against your needy brother, and you do not give to him, and he has called to YHWH concerning you, and it has been sin in you;
Kata bedni higa mar abiriyo chiegni chopo to kik ubed gi ich lit mutamru olo owadu man-gi dwaro. Ka mano otimore, to owaduno nyalo mako bura e nyim Jehova Nyasaye mi ubed joketho.

Chiwreuru gi chuny man thuolo, to ka utimo kamano to Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasachu biro gwedho tijeu duto kod gimoro amora ma udwaro timo.
11 because the poor does not cease out of the land, therefore I am commanding you, saying, You certainly open your hand to your brother, to your poor and to your needy one in your land.
Joma ochando nobedie e pinyu ndalo duto. Kuom mano achikou mondo ubed gi chuny ma thuolo kuom oweteu, joma odhier kod joma ochando e pinyu.
12 When your brother is sold to you, a Hebrew or a Hebrewess, and he has served you [for] six years, then in the seventh year you send him away free from you.
Ka ja-Hibrania wadu madichwo kata madhako ochiwore mondo ingʼiewe kendo otini kuom higni auchiel, to e higa mar abiriyo nyaka iweye obed thuolo.
13 And when you send him away free from you, you do not send him away empty;
Kendo ka iweye mondo odhi ka en thuolo, to kik igole odhi gi lwete nono.
14 you certainly adorn him from your flock, and from your threshing-floor, and from your wine-vat; you give to him [from] that which your God YHWH has blessed you [with],
Kowe mabup gi chuny ma thuolo kimiye jamni, kar dino cham kod divai. Bedne mangʼwon kendo imiye kaluwore gi kaka Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasachi osegwedhi.
15 and you have remembered that you have been a servant in the land of Egypt, and your God YHWH ransoms you; therefore I am commanding you this thing today.
Paruru nine un wasumbini e piny Misri to Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasachu noresou. Mano emomiyo amiyou chikni kawuono.
16 And it has been, when he says to you, I do not go out from you, because he has loved you and your house, because [it is] good for him with you,
Ka jatichni owacho niya, “Ok adwar weyi,” nikech oheri kod jo-dalani duto kendo owinjo maber ka odak kodu,
17 then you have taken the awl, and have put [it] through his ear, and through the door, and he has been a perpetual servant to you; and you also do so to your handmaid.
to kaw riwi kendo ituchgo ite kiteno e dhoot mondo koro obed misumbani nyaka chiengʼ tim kamano bende nyaka ne jatichni madhako.
18 It is not hard in your eyes in your sending him away free from you; for [his worth has been] double the hire of a hired worker [when] he has served you six years; and your God YHWH has blessed you in all that you do.
Kik bedni matek weyo misumbani thuolo nimar higni auchiel mosebedo oromo chudo nyadiriyo maromre kod ngʼatno ma biro tiyoni ndalo. Kitimo kamano to Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasachi nogwedh gik moko duto mitimo.
19 Every firstling that is born in your herd and in your flock—you sanctify the male to your God YHWH; you do not work with the firstling of your ox, nor shear the firstling of your flock;

E higa ka higa in kod joodi onego uchamgi e nyim Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasachu kama en owuon noyier.
21 And when there is a blemish in it, [or it is] lame or blind, [or has] any evil blemish, you do not sacrifice it to your God YHWH;
Ka chiayo moro nigi songa, ongʼol kata en muofu kata ka en gi mbala moro amora to ok onego utim kode misango ne Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasachu.
22 you eat it within your gates, the unclean and the clean alike, as the roe and as the deer.
Onego uchame e miechu uwuon. Joma ok ler gi jomaler nyalo chame mana kaka gichamo mwanda kata nyakech.
23 Only, you do not eat its blood—you pour it on the earth as water.”
