< Deuteronomy 13 >

1 “When a prophet or a dreamer of a dream arises in your midst, and he has given a sign or wonder to you,
Aa naho miongak’ ama’o ao ty mpitoky ndra ty mpañinofy nofy mitalily viloñe ndra raha tsitantane,
2 and the sign and the wonder has come to pass, which he has spoken of to you, saying, Let us go after other gods (which you have not known) and serve them,
naho heneke i viloñey ndra i raha tsitantane natalili’ey vaho manao ty hoe re: Antao hañorike ‘ndrahare ila’e (ze tsy nifohi’ areo) naho hitoroñe iareo
3 you do not listen to the words of that prophet or to that dreamer of the dream, for your God YHWH is trying you to know whether you are loving your God YHWH with all your heart and with all your soul;
Le ko iantofa’o i mpitokiy ndra i mpañinofiy, amy t’ie fitsoha’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo, haharofoana’e he toe kokoa’ areo an-kaampon’ arofo naho an-kaliforam-pañova t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo.
4 you walk after your God YHWH, and you fear Him, and you keep His commands, and you listen to His voice, and you serve Him, and you cleave to Him.
Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo ty horihe’ areo, ie avao ty hañeveña’ areo le o lili’eo ty hambena’ areo, naho i fiarañanaña’ey ro haoñeñe, ie ty toroñe’ areo vaho ie ty vontitire’ areo.
5 And that prophet or that dreamer of the dream is put to death, for he has spoken apostasy against your God YHWH (who is bringing you out of the land of Egypt, and has ransomed you out of a house of servants), to drive you out of the way in which your God YHWH has commanded you to walk, and you have put away evil from your midst.
Aa le havetrake i mpitokiy ndra i mpañinofy nofiy, ie nivolam-piolàñe am’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo nañavotse anahareo an-tane Mitsraime añe naho nijebañe anahareo amy trañom-pañondevozañey, handronjea’e azo hisitak’ amy lala’ linili’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o hañaveloa’oy. Aa le mongoro o sata raty ama’oo.
6 When your brother, son of your mother, or your son, or your daughter, or the wife of your bosom, or your friend who [is] as your own soul, moves you in secret, saying, Let us go and serve other gods (which you have not known, you and your fathers,
Aa naho mitangogo hanigìke azo ty rahalahi’o, ke ty anan-drene’o, he ty ana-dahi’o, ke ty anak’ ampela’o, he i valy fetrehe’oy, ke i atehena’o longo-sarotsey, manao ama’o ty hoe, Antao hitoron-drahare ila’e (ze mbe lia’e tsy niisa’o ndra o roae’oo,
7 of the gods of the peoples who [are] around you, who are near to you, or who are far off from you, from the end of the earth even to the [other] end of the earth),
te mone ndrahare’ ondaty mañohok’ azoo, marine azo, ke lavitse azo, añ’olo’ ty tane toy pak’añ’ila’e añe, )
8 you do not consent to him, nor listen to him, nor does your eye have pity on him, nor do you spare, nor do you cover him over.
le ko miantok’ aze ndra mañaoñe aze, ko tretrezem-pihaino’o, ko arova’o vaho ko mañetak’ aze,
9 But you surely kill him; your hand is on him in the first place to put him to death, and the hand of all the people last;
f’ie tsy mete tsy vonoe’o le ty fità’o ro hionjoñe hamofok’ aze valoha’e ho rotsaheñe vaho ho tonjohiza’ ty fità’ ondaty iabio.
10 and you have stoned him with stones and he has died, for he has sought to drive you away from your God YHWH, who is bringing you out of the land of Egypt, out of a house of servants;
Retsaho vato hivetraha’e amy t’ie nipay hanintak’ azo am’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o nañavotse azo an-tane Mitsraime añe naho an-trañom-pañondevozañe ao,
11 and all Israel hears and fears, and does not add to do like this evil thing in your midst.
le ho janjiñe’ o ana’ Israele iabio vaho ho hembañe tsy hanao i haloloañe zay ka añivo’o ao.
12 When you hear [someone] in one of your cities, which your God YHWH is giving to you to dwell there, saying,
Aa naho janji’o ty ami’ty rova raike natolo’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o himoneña’o ty hoe,
13 Men, sons of worthlessness, have gone out of your midst, and they force away the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods (which you have not known),
Niakatse boak’ ama’ areo ao ze o ana’ i Beliale zao nitaoñe ty mpimone’ i rova’ iareoy, ami’ty hoe: Antao hitoroñe ndrahare ila’e, ze tsy nifohi’ areo.
14 then you have inquired, and searched, and asked diligently, and behold, [if] truth, the thing is established; this abomination has been done in your midst—
Le hotsohotsò, naho tsikaraho, vaho aodio. Aa naho rekets’ i sisiý te toe nanoeñe ama’o ao i hativañe zay,
15 you surely strike the inhabitants of that city by the mouth of the sword, devoting it and all that [is] in it, even its livestock, by the mouth of the sword.
le toe ho zevoñe’o an-dela-pibara o mpimone’ i rovaio, hamongorañe aze an-dela-pibara, naho ze he’e ama’e ao naho o hare iabio.
16 And you gather all its spoil into the midst of its broad place, and have completely burned the city and all its spoil with fire for your God YHWH, and it has been a continuous heap, it is not built anymore;
Le hatonto’o an-kiririsam-pivory ao o nikopahe’o iabio; le orò añ’afo i rovay naho o fonga kinopakeo, ie iaby, ho am’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o, ie ho votre kòake kitro katroke; tsy haoreñe ka.
17 and nothing from any of that [which is] devoted stays in your hand, so that YHWH turns back from the fierceness of His anger, and has given mercies to you, and loved you, and multiplied you, as He has sworn to your fathers,
Asoao tsy hipiteham-pità’o o raha navìke ho rotsaheñeo, soa te hitolik’ amy fifombo’e miforoforoy t’Iehovà, hitretreza’e, naho hiferenaiña’e vaho hamorohota’e manahake i nitsarae’e aman-droae’oy,
18 because you listen to the voice of your God YHWH, to keep all his commands which I am commanding you today, to do that which [is] right in the eyes of your God YHWH.”
naho toe tsendreñe’o ty fiarañanaña’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o, hambena’o o lili’e lilieko azo androanio, hanoe’o ty hiti’e am-pihaino’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o.
