< Deuteronomy 13 >

1 “When a prophet or a dreamer of a dream arises in your midst, and he has given a sign or wonder to you,
No adda iti tumakder kadakayo a maysa a profeta wenno mangilawlawag kadagiti tagtagainep, ken no ikkannakayo iti maysa a pagilasinan wenno nakaskasdaaw,
2 and the sign and the wonder has come to pass, which he has spoken of to you, saying, Let us go after other gods (which you have not known) and serve them,
ket no mapasamak ti pagilasinan wenno nakaskasdaaw, nga insaona kadakayo ket kunaenna, 'Intayo sumurot kadagiti sabali a dios, a saanyo pay a naam-ammo, ket agdayawtayo kadakuada,'
3 you do not listen to the words of that prophet or to that dreamer of the dream, for your God YHWH is trying you to know whether you are loving your God YHWH with all your heart and with all your soul;
saanyo a denggen dagiti sasao dayta a profeta, wenno dayta a mangilawlawag kadagiti tagtagainep; ta susuotennakayo ni Yahweh a Diosyo tapno maammoanna no ay-ayatenyo isuna iti isu-amin a puso ken kararuayo.
4 you walk after your God YHWH, and you fear Him, and you keep His commands, and you listen to His voice, and you serve Him, and you cleave to Him.
Magnakayo a sumurot kenni Yahweh a Diosyo, dayawenyo isuna, salimetmetanyo dagiti bilbilinna, ken agtulnogkayo iti timekna, agdaydayaw ken kumpetkayo kenkuana.
5 And that prophet or that dreamer of the dream is put to death, for he has spoken apostasy against your God YHWH (who is bringing you out of the land of Egypt, and has ransomed you out of a house of servants), to drive you out of the way in which your God YHWH has commanded you to walk, and you have put away evil from your midst.
Mapapatayto dayta a profeta wenno mangilawlawag kadagiti tagtagainep, gapu ta nagsao isuna iti panagsukir kenni Yahweh a Diosyo, a nangiruar kadakayo iti daga ti Egipto, ken ti nangsubbot kadakayo manipud iti balay ti pannakaadipen. Tartarigagayan dayta a profeta nga ilisidakayo iti dalan nga imbilin ni Yahweh a Diosyo a pagnaanyo. Isu nga ikkatenyo ti kinadakes kadakayo.
6 When your brother, son of your mother, or your son, or your daughter, or the wife of your bosom, or your friend who [is] as your own soul, moves you in secret, saying, Let us go and serve other gods (which you have not known, you and your fathers,
Kas pangarigan, ti kabsatyo a lallaki, nga anak a lalaki ni nanangyo, wenno ti anakyo a lalaki wenno babai, wenno ti asawa a babai iti barukongyo, wenno ti gayyemyo nga isu ket kasla bukodyo a kararua, ket sililimed a mangsugsog kadakayo ken ibagbagana, 'Intayo agdayaw kadagiti sabali a dios a saanyo nga am-ammo, uray dakayo wenno dagiti kapuonanyo—
7 of the gods of the peoples who [are] around you, who are near to you, or who are far off from you, from the end of the earth even to the [other] end of the earth),
siasinoman kadagiti dios dagiti tattao iti aglawlawyo, iti asidegyo, wenno adayo kadakayo, manipud iti maysa a pungto agingga iti sabali a pungto ti daga.'
8 you do not consent to him, nor listen to him, nor does your eye have pity on him, nor do you spare, nor do you cover him over.
Saankayo nga umanamong wenno dumngeg kenkuana. Wenno maasian ti matayo kenkuana, wenno isakit wenno ilemmengyo isuna.
9 But you surely kill him; your hand is on him in the first place to put him to death, and the hand of all the people last;
Ngem ketdi, awan duadua a papatayenyo isuna; dagiti imayo ti umuna a mangpapatay kenkuana, ket kalpasanna ti ima dagiti amin a tattao.
10 and you have stoned him with stones and he has died, for he has sought to drive you away from your God YHWH, who is bringing you out of the land of Egypt, out of a house of servants;
Papatayenyo isuna babaen iti panangbato, gapu ta pinadasnaka nga iyadayo manipud kenni Yahweh a Diosyo, a nangiruar kadakayo iti daga ti Egipto, iti balay ti pannakaadipen.
11 and all Israel hears and fears, and does not add to do like this evil thing in your midst.
Mangngegto amin ti Israel ket agbutengda, ket saandan nga ituloy ti agaramid kadagitoy a kita ti kinadangkes kadakayo.
12 When you hear [someone] in one of your cities, which your God YHWH is giving to you to dwell there, saying,
No makangngegyo ti siasinoman a mangibagbaga maipanggep iti maysa kadagiti siudadyo, nga it-ited ni Yahweh a Diosyo a pagnaedanyo:
13 Men, sons of worthlessness, have gone out of your midst, and they force away the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods (which you have not known),
Pimmanaw ti sumagmamano kadagiti nadangkes a kakaduayo ken iyaw-awanda dagiti agnanaed iti siudadda ken kunada, 'Mapantayo ket agdaydayaw kadagiti sabali a dios a saanyo pay nga am-ammo.'
14 then you have inquired, and searched, and asked diligently, and behold, [if] truth, the thing is established; this abomination has been done in your midst—
Kalpasanna, sukimatenyo dagiti pammaneknek, palutpotenyo, ken amirisenyo a naimbag. No pudno ken sigurado a naaramid ti makarimon a banag kadakayo—
15 you surely strike the inhabitants of that city by the mouth of the sword, devoting it and all that [is] in it, even its livestock, by the mouth of the sword.
ket awan duadua a rautenyonto dagiti agnanaed iti dayta a siudad babaen iti tadem ti kampilanyo, naan-anay a dadaelenyo daytoy ken dagiti amin a tattao nga adda ditoy, karaman dagiti tarakenda, babaen iti tadem ti kampilan.
16 And you gather all its spoil into the midst of its broad place, and have completely burned the city and all its spoil with fire for your God YHWH, and it has been a continuous heap, it is not built anymore;
Urnongenyo amin dagiti nasamsam iti tengnga iti dalanda ken puoranyo ti siudad, kasta met dagiti amin a nasamsamna—para kenni Yahweh a Diosyo. Agbalinto a gabsuon ti pannadadael ti siudad iti agnanayon, masapul a saanen a pulos a maipatakder manen.
17 and nothing from any of that [which is] devoted stays in your hand, so that YHWH turns back from the fierceness of His anger, and has given mercies to you, and loved you, and multiplied you, as He has sworn to your fathers,
Masapul nga awan ti dumket iti imayo kadagiti banbanag a nailasin a madadael. Masapul a daytoy ti mapasamak, tapno ibabawinto ni Yahweh ti kinauyong ti ungetna, kaasiannakayo, makipagrikna kadakayo, ken paadoenna ti bilangyo, kas insapatana kadagiti ammayo.
18 because you listen to the voice of your God YHWH, to keep all his commands which I am commanding you today, to do that which [is] right in the eyes of your God YHWH.”
Aramidennanto daytoy gapu ta dumdumngegkayo iti timek ni Yahweh a Diosyo, tapno salimetmetanyo amin dagiti bilinna nga ibilbilinko kadakayo ita nga aldaw, nga aramidenyo ti umno kadagiti mata ni Yahweh a Diosyo.
