< Deuteronomy 11 >
1 “And you have loved your God YHWH, and kept His charge, and His statutes, and His judgments, and His commands, [for] all the days;
Idai Jehovha Mwari wenyu uye muchengete zvaakatema, mitemo yake, nemirayiro yake uye nezvaakarayira, nguva dzose.
2 and you have known today—for it is not your sons who have not known and who have not seen the discipline of your God YHWH, His greatness, His strong hand, and His outstretched arm;
Murangarire nhasi kuti vana venyu havasivo vakaona uye vakaziva kuranga kwaJehovha Mwari wenyu: noukuru hwake, noruoko rwake rune simba, noruoko rwake rwakatambanudzwa;
3 and His signs and His doings which He has done in the midst of Egypt, to Pharaoh king of Egypt and to all his land;
nezviratidzo zvaakaita uye zvinhu zvaakaita pakati peIjipiti, nokuna Faro mambo weIjipiti uye nokunyika yake yose;
4 and that which He has done to the force of Egypt, to its horses, and to its chariot, when He has caused the waters of the Red Sea to flow against their faces in their pursuing after them, and YHWH destroys them, to this day;
zvaakaita kuhondo yavaIjipita, nokumabhiza nengoro dzayo, mafukidzirwo avakaitwa nemvura yomuGungwa Dzvuku pavakanga vachikuteverai, uye kuuyisa kwakaita Jehovha kuparadzwa pamusoro pavo zvachose.
5 and that which He has done to you in the wilderness until your coming to this place;
Havasi vana venyu vakaona zvaakakuitirai murenje kusvikira masvika panzvimbo ino,
6 and that which He has done to Dathan and to Abiram, sons of Eliab, sons of Reuben, when the earth has opened her mouth and swallows them, and their houses, and their tents, and all that lives which is at their feet, in the midst of all Israel—
uye nezvaakaita kuna Dhatani naAbhiramu vanakomana vaEriabhi muRubheni, apo nyika yakashamisa muromo wayo ikavamedza ivo nevedzimba dzavo, namatende avo nezvipenyu zvose zvakanga zviri zvavo, pakati pavaIsraeri vose.
7 but [it is] your eyes which are seeing all the great work of YHWH which He has done.
Asi aiva meso enyu akaona zvinhu zvose izvi zvakaitwa naJehovha.
8 And you have kept all the command which I am commanding you today, so that you are strong, and have gone in, and possessed the land to where you are passing over to possess it,
Naizvozvo chengetai mirayiro yose yandinokupai nhasi, kuti muve nesimba rokupinda nokutora nyika yamuri kuyambuka Jorodhani kuti mundoita yenyu,
9 and so that you prolong days on the ground which YHWH has sworn to your fathers to give to them and to their seed—a land flowing with milk and honey.
uye kuti mazuva enyu ave mazhinji munyika iyo Jehovha akapikira kumadzitateguru enyu kuti achavapa ivo nezvizvarwa zvavo, nyika inoyerera mukaka nouchi.
10 For the land to where you are going in to possess it is not as the land of Egypt from where you have come out, where you sow your seed and have watered with your foot, as a garden of the green herb;
Nyika yamuri kupinda kundotora haina kufanana nenyika yeIjipiti, uko kwamakabva, uko kwamaidyara mbeu dzenyu muchidiridza netsoka sezvinoitwa mubindu romuriwo.
11 but the land to where you are passing over to possess it [is] a land of hills and valleys—it drinks water of the rain of the heavens—
Asi nyika yamuri kuyambuka Jorodhani kundotora kuti ive yenyu inyika yamakomo nemipata zvinonwa mvura kubva kudenga.
12 a land which your God YHWH is searching; the eyes of your God YHWH [are] continually on it, from the beginning of the year even to the latter end of the year.
Inyika inochengetwa naJehovha Mwari wenyu; meso aJehovha Mwari wenyu anoramba akaitarira kubva pakutanga kwegore kusvikira pakupera kwegore.
13 And it has been, if you listen diligently to My commands which I am commanding you today, to love your God YHWH, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul,
Saka kana mukateerera mirayiro yandinokupai nhasi makatendeka, mukada Jehovha Mwari wenyu uye mukamushumira nomwoyo wenyu wose uye nomweya wenyu wose,
14 then I have given the rain of your land in its season—autumn rain and spring rain—and you have gathered your grain, and your new wine, and your oil,
ipapo ndichanayisa mvura panyika yenyu nemwaka wayo, mvura yamasutso neyomunakamwe, kuitira kuti mugone kukohwa zviyo zvenyu newaini itsva namafuta.
15 and I have given herbs in your field for your livestock, and you have eaten and been satisfied.
Ndichameresa uswa hwemombe dzenyu kumafuro uye muchadya muchiguta.
16 Take heed to yourselves lest your heart be enticed, and you have turned aside, and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them,
Chenjerai kuti murege kunyengerwa mumwoyo yenyu kuti mutsauke muchinamata vamwe vamwari uye nokuvapfugamira.
17 and the anger of YHWH has burned against you, and He has restrained the heavens and there is no rain, and the ground does not give her increase, and you have perished quickly from off the good land which YHWH is giving to you.
Ipapo kutsamwa kwaJehovha kuchapfuta pamusoro penyu, uye achapfiga denga kuti mvura iregere kunaya uye nyika icharega kubereka zvibereko zvayo, uye imi muchakurumidza kuparara kubva panyika yakanaka yamunopiwa naJehovha.
18 And you have placed these words of mine on your heart and on your soul, and have bound them for a sign on your hand, and they have been for frontlets between your eyes;
Isai mashoko angu aya mumwoyo yenyu nepfungwa dzenyu; asungirei pamaoko enyu sezviratidzo uye muasungire pahuma dzenyu.
19 and you have taught them to your sons by speaking of them in your sitting in your house, and in your going in the way, and in your lying down, and in your rising up,
Adzidzisei kuvana venyu, muchitaura pamusoro pawo pamunogara pasi uye nepamunenge muchifamba panzira, pamunorara pasi uye nepamunomuka.
20 and have written them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates,
Anyorei pamagwatidziro emikova yedzimba dzenyu uye napamasuo enyu,
21 so that your days are multiplied, and the days of your sons, on the ground which YHWH has sworn to your fathers to give to them, as the days of the heavens above the earth.
kuitira kuti mazuva enyu namazuva avana venyu awande panyika yakapikirwa madzitateguru enyu naJehovha kuti achavapa, awande samazuva ayo denga richava pamusoro penyika.
22 For if you diligently keep all this command which I am commanding you to do—to love your God YHWH, to walk in all His ways, and to cleave to Him—
Kana mukachenjerera kuchengeta mirayiro yangu iyi yandinokupai kuti mutevere, kuti mude Jehovha Mwari wenyu, kuti mufambe munzira dzake dzose nokubatirira paari,
23 then YHWH has dispossessed all these nations from before you, and you have possessed nations greater and mightier than you.
ipapo Jehovha achadzinga ndudzi dzose pamberi penyu, uye muchatorera nyika ndudzi dzakakura uye dzine simba kukupfuurai.
24 Every place on which the sole of your foot treads is yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the Euphrates River, even to the Western Sea, is your border.
Nzvimbo ipi neipi yamuchatsika netsoka dzenyu ichava yenyu: Nyika yenyu ichabva kurenje ichisvika kuRebhanoni, uye ichabva kuRwizi Yufuratesi ichisvika kugungwa rokumavirazuva.
25 No man stations himself in your presence; your God YHWH puts your dread and your fear on the face of all the land on which you tread, as He has spoken to you.
Hakuna munhu achagona kumira kuti akurwisei. Jehovha Mwari wenyu sezvaakakuvimbisai, achaita kuti vanhu vakutyei uye vagokuvhundukai munyika yose, kwose kwose kwamunoenda.
26 See, today I am setting before you a blessing and a reviling:
Tarirai, nhasi ndiri kuisa pamberi penyu kuropafadzwa nokutukwa,
27 the blessing when you listen to the commands of your God YHWH which I am commanding you today;
kuropafadzwa kana muchiteerera mirayiro yaJehovha Mwari wenyu yandinokupai nhasi;
28 and the reviling if you do not listen to the commands of your God YHWH, and have turned aside from the way which I am commanding you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.
kutukwa kana mukasateerera mirayiro yaJehovha Mwari wenyu uye mukatsauka kubva panzira yandinokurayirai nhasi muchitevera vamwe vamwari, avo vamusati maziva.
29 And it has been, when your God YHWH brings you into the land to where you are going in to possess it, that you have given the blessing on Mount Gerizim and the reviling on Mount Ebal;
Kana Jehovha Mwari wenyu akuendesai munyika yamuri kupinda kuti muitore, munofanira kudaidzira kuropafadzwa kuzhinji paGomo reGerizimu, uye kutukwa kuzhinji paGomo reEbhari.
30 are they not beyond the Jordan, behind the way of the going in of the sun, in the land of the Canaanite who is dwelling in the plain opposite Gilgal, near the oaks of Moreh?
Sezvamunoziva, makomo aya ari mhiri kweJorodhani, nechokumavirira kwomugwagwa, makananga kumavirazuva, pedyo nemiti mikuru yeMore, munyika yavaKenani vagere muArabha pedyo neGirigari.
31 For you are passing over the Jordan to go in to possess the land which your God YHWH is giving to you; and you have possessed it, and dwelt in it,
Mava kuda kuyambuka Jorodhani kuti mupinde uye mutore nyika yamuri kupiwa naJehovha Mwari wenyu. Kana muchinge maitora uye mava kugaramo,
32 and observed to do all the statutes and the judgments which I am setting before you today.”
chenjerai kuti muteerere mitemo nemirayiro yose yandiri kuisa pamberi penyu nhasi.
