Deuteronomy 10
1 “At that time YHWH has said to me, Hew two tablets of stone for yourself like the first, and come up to Me into the mountain, and you have made an ark of wood for yourself,
N'aquelle mesmo tempo me disse o Senhor: Alisa duas taboas de pedra, como as primeiras, e sobe a mim a este monte, e faze-te uma arca de madeira:
2 and I write on the tablets the words which were on the first tablets, which you have broken, and you have placed them in the Ark.
E n'aquellas taboas escreverei as palavras que estavam nas primeiras taboas que quebraste, e as porás na arca.
3 And I make an ark of shittim wood, and hew two tablets of stone like the first, and go up to the mountain with the two tablets in my hand.
Assim, fiz uma arca de madeira de sittim, e alisei duas taboas de pedra, como as primeiras: e subi ao monte com as duas taboas na minha mão.
4 And He writes on the tablets according to the first writing, the Ten Commandments, which YHWH has spoken to you in the mountain, out of the midst of the fire, in the day of the assembly, and YHWH gives them to me,
Então escreveu nas taboas, conforme á primeira escriptura, os dez mandamentos, que o Senhor vos fallara no dia da congregação, no monte, do meio do fogo: e o Senhor m'as deu a mim
5 and I turn and come down from the mountain, and put the tablets in the Ark which I had made, and they are there, as YHWH commanded me.
E virei-me, e desci do monte, e puz as taboas na arca que fizera: e ali estão, como o Senhor me ordenou.
6 And the sons of Israel have journeyed from Beeroth of the sons of Jaakan to Mosera; Aaron died there, and he is buried there, and his son Eleazar acts as priest in his stead.
E partiram os filhos de Israel de Beeroth-Bene-jaakan a Mosera: ali falleceu Aarão, e ali foi sepultado, e Eleazar, seu filho, administrou o sacerdocio em seu logar.
7 From there they journeyed to Gudgodah, and from Gudgodah to Jotbathah, a land of brooks of water.
D'ali partiram a Gudgod, e de Gudgod a Jotbath, terra de ribeiros de aguas.
8 At that time YHWH has separated the tribe of Levi to carry the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH, to stand before YHWH, to serve Him, and to bless in His Name to this day;
No mesmo tempo o Senhor separou a tribu de Levi, para levar a arca do concerto do Senhor, para estar diante do Senhor, para o servir, e para abençoar em seu nome até ao dia de hoje.
9 therefore there has not been a portion and inheritance for Levi with his brothers; YHWH Himself [is] his inheritance, as your God YHWH has spoken to him.
Pelo que Levi com seus irmãos não tem parte na herança: o Senhor é a sua herança, como o Senhor teu Deus lhe tem dito
10 And I have stood in the mountain, as the former days, [for] forty days and forty nights, and YHWH also listens to me at that time; YHWH has not willed to destroy you.
E eu estive no monte, como nos dias primeiros, quarenta dias e quarenta noites: e o Senhor me ouviu ainda por esta vez: não quiz o Senhor destruir-te.
11 And YHWH says to me, Rise, go to journey before the people, and they go in and possess the land which I have sworn to their fathers to give to them.
Porém o Senhor me disse: Levanta-te, põe-te a caminho diante do povo, para que entrem, e possuam a terra que jurei a seus paes dar-lhes.
12 And now, O Israel, what is your God YHWH asking from you, except to fear your God YHWH, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve your God YHWH with all your heart and with all your soul,
Agora, pois, ó Israel, que é o que o Senhor teu Deus pede de ti, senão que temas o Senhor teu Deus, que andes em todos os seus caminhos, e o ames, e sirvas ao Senhor teu Deus com todo o teu coração e com toda a tua alma
13 to keep the commands of YHWH, and His statutes which I am commanding you today, for good for you?
Para guardar os mandamentos do Senhor, e os seus estatutos, que hoje te ordeno, para o teu bem?
14 Behold, the heavens, even the heavens of the heavens, [belong] to your God YHWH, [as does] the earth and all that [is] in it.
Eis que os céus e os céus dos céus são do Senhor teu Deus, a terra e tudo o que n'ella ha.
15 Only, YHWH has delighted in your fathers, to love them, and He fixes on their seed after them—on you, out of all the peoples, as [at] this day.
Tão sómente o Senhor tomou prazer em teus paes para os amar: e a vós, semente d'elles, escolheu depois d'elles, de todos os povos, como n'este dia se vê
16 And you have circumcised the foreskin of your heart, and you do not harden your neck anymore.
Circumcidae pois o prepucio do vosso coração, e não mais endureçaes a vossa cerviz.
17 For He, your God YHWH, [is] God of the gods and Lord of the lords—the great, the mighty, and the fearful God, who does not accept by appearances, nor takes a bribe;
Pois o Senhor vosso Deus é o Deus dos deuses, e o Senhor dos senhores, o Deus grande, poderoso e terrivel, que não faz accepção de pessoas, nem acceita recompensas:
18 He is doing the judgment of fatherless and widow, and loving the sojourner, to give bread and raiment to him.
Que faz justiça ao orphão e á viuva, e ama o estrangeiro, dando-lhe pão e vestido.
19 And you have loved the sojourner, for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt.
Pelo que amareis o estrangeiro, pois fostes estrangeiros na terra do Egypto.
20 You fear your God YHWH, you serve Him, and you cleave to Him, and you swear by His Name.
Ao Senhor teu Deus temerás, a elle servirás, e a elle te chegarás, e pelo seu nome jurarás.
21 He [is] your praise, and He [is] your God, who has done these great and fearful [things] with you which your eyes have seen.
Elle é o teu louvor e o teu Deus, que te fez estas grandes e terriveis coisas que os teus olhos teem visto.
22 Your fathers went down to Egypt with seventy persons, and now your God YHWH has made you as [the] stars of the heavens for multitude.”
Com setenta almas teus paes desceram ao Egypto; e agora o Senhor teu Deus te poz como as estrellas dos céus em multidão.
