< Daniel 7 >
1 In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel has seen a dream, and the visions of his head on his bed, then he has written the dream, the chief of the things he has said.
Babilon siangpahrang Belshazzar a bawinae apasuek kum vah, Daniel teh a i lahunnah, mang a sak teh vision a hmu e naw hah a thut e teh,
2 Daniel has answered and said, “I was seeing in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of the heavens are coming forth to the Great Sea;
Kai Daniel ni karum vah ka hmu e vision teh, kalvan takin pali touh koe e kahlînaw teh tuipui van vah buet touh hoi buet touh a kâhmang awh.
3 and four great beasts are coming up from the sea, diverse from one another.
Reikâvan hoeh e sarang pali touh teh tuipui thung hoi a tâco awh. Apasueke sarang teh sendek hoi a kâvan. Mataw rathei hai a tawn.
4 The first [is] like a lion, and it has an eagle’s wings. I was seeing until its wings have been plucked, and it has been lifted up from the earth, and on feet as a man it has been caused to stand, and a heart of man is given to it.
Ka khet lahun nah ahnie ratheinaw teh koung a phawk pouh awh. Talai dawk hoi amahoima a kâtawm teh, tami patetlah khok hoi a kangdue teh, tami lungthin a tawn,
5 And behold, another beast, a second, like to a bear, and to the same authority it has been raised, and three ribs [are] in its mouth, between its teeth, and thus they are saying to it, Rise, consume much flesh.
Apâhni e sarang teh tavom hoi a kâvan. Avang lae khok hoi a kangdue teh, a kâko dawk nâhru kathum touh a rakoung. Thaw nateh a moi moikapap cat haw atipouh awh.
6 After this I was seeing, and behold, another like a leopard, and it has four wings of a bird on its back, and the beast has four heads, and dominion is given to it.
Bout ka khet boteh, kaisi hoi kâvan e sarang buet touh a kamnue. A hnukthun vah rathei pali touh ao. Lû pali touh a tawn. Uknae kâ hai a tawn.
7 After this I was seeing in the visions of the night, and behold, a fourth beast, terrible and fearful, and exceedingly strong; and it has very great iron teeth, it has consumed, indeed, it breaks small, and it has trampled the remnant with its feet; and it [is] diverse from all the beasts that [are] before it; and it has ten horns.
Tangmin vah bout ka hmu e vision teh, a tha kaawm poung niteh, takikathopounge apalinae sarang teh a kamnue. Kalenpounge sumhâ a tawn. Vekrasen lah a kei a ca teh, a canawi e hah a khok hoi a coungroe. Ahni teh, ahmaloe e sarangnaw hoi kâvan hoeh. Ki hra touh a tawn.
8 I was considering about the horns, and behold, another horn, a little one, has come up between them, and three of the first horns have been eradicated from before it, and behold, eyes as the eyes of man [are] in this horn, and a mouth speaking great things.
Hote kinaw hah ka khet lahunnah, kinaw e alungui vah, alouke ki buet touh bout a cawn. Hote kica e hmalah hmaloe e ki kathum touh teh a tangpha khuehoi phawk lah ao. Hote kica teh tami e mit patet e mit a tawn, puenghoi lawk dei thainae pahni hai a tawn.
9 I was seeing until thrones have been thrown down, and the Ancient of Days is seated, His garment [is] white as snow, and the hair of His head [is] as pure wool, His throne flames of fire, its wheels burning fire.
Ka khet lahun navah, bawitungkhungnaw hah ka hmu. A kum kacue e buet touh a tahung. A khohna e teh tâmai patetlah a pangaw. A sam teh tumuen patetlah a pangaw. Tungkhung teh hmaito lah ao. Tungkhung khok teh ka kang lahun e hmai lah ao.
10 A flood of fire is proceeding and coming forth from before Him, one million serve Him and one hundred million rise up before Him, judgment has been set, and the scrolls have been opened.
A minhmai dawk hoi hmaiang a tâco. Touklek thai hoeh e naw ni a thaw a tawk awh teh, touklek thai hoeh e naw ni a hmalah a kangdue awh. Lawkceng hanelah cauknaw hah kadai lah ao.
11 I was seeing, then, because of the voice of the great words that the horn is speaking, I was seeing until the beast is slain, and his body has been destroyed, and given to the burning fire;
Hatnavah, kica ni puenghoi dei e lawk dawk ka khet navah, hote sarang hah a thei awh teh, a tak hah hmai hoi a sawi awh teh, a raphoe awh.
12 and the rest of the beasts have caused their dominion to pass away, and a prolongation in life is given to them, until a season and a time.
Alouke sarang teh uknaeram kâ tawn awh hoeh eiteh, atueng khoe e a pha hoehnahlan totouh a hring awh.
13 I was seeing in the visions of the night, and behold, [One] like a Son of Man was coming with the clouds of the heavens, and to the Ancient of Days He has come, and before Him they have brought Him near.
Hote tangmin e vision dawk teh, tami hoi kâvan e buet touh tâmai a kâcui teh a kum kacue e koe a tho. A kum kacue e hmalah ahni hah a thokhai awh.
14 And to Him is given dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, and all peoples, nations, and languages serve Him, His dominion [is] a continuous dominion, that does not pass away, and His kingdom that which is not destroyed.
Kho tangkuem kaawm e lawk cawngca kapan e tami pueng hah uk sak hanelah, ahni koe uknaeram kâ, lawkcengnae hoi bawilennae hah poelah ao. A uknaeram teh akangning, a ram teh rawk thai mahoeh.
15 My spirit has been pierced—I, Daniel—in the midst of the sheath, and the visions of my head trouble me;
Kai Daniel teh hote vision ni ka lungthin dawk runae na poe teh, ka muitha teh a cingou.
16 I have drawn near to one of those standing, and the certainty I seek from him of all this; and he has spoken to me, indeed, the interpretation of the things he has caused me to know:
Ateng kangdout e buet touh koe ka cei teh, atu e ka hmu e naw hah bangtelamaw telah ka pacei.
17 These great beasts, that [are] four, [are] four kings, they rise up from the earth;
Ahni ni hete sarang pali touh teh talai van ka tâcawt hane ram pali touh hah doeh.
18 and the saints of the Most High receive the kingdom, and they strengthen the kingdom for all time, even for all time and all ages.
Hatei, a lathueng poung e Cathut e tami kathoungnaw ni hote uknaeram coe awh vaiteh, a yungyoe a pang awh han telah atipouh.
19 Then I wished for certainty concerning the fourth beast, that was diverse from them all, exceedingly fearful; its teeth of iron, and its nails of bronze, it has devoured, it breaks small, and it has trampled the remnant with its feet;
Hat toteh, alouke sarangnaw hlak taki hoe ka tho niteh, sumhâ hoi rahum khokpatin ka tawn niteh, vekrasen lah a kei a ca teh, canawi e hah a khok hoi ka coungroe e sarang teh bangmouh a deingai nah aw tie thoseh,
20 and concerning the ten horns that [are] in its heads, and of the other that came up, and before which three have fallen, even of that horn that has eyes, and a mouth speaking great things, and whose appearance [is] great above its companions.
A lû dawk e ki hra touh teh bangmouh a dei ngai na aw tie hai thoseh, a hnukkhu ka cawn niteh, ahmaloe e ki kathum touh hah din ka phawng niteh, puenghoi lawk dei thainae pahni hoi mit ka tawn e, a huinaw hlak taranhawinae minhmai ka tawn e ki hateh bangmouh a deingai nah tie hah panue han ka ngai.
21 I was seeing, and this horn is making war with the saints, and has prevailed over them,
Ka khet lahun navah, a kum kacue e buet touh a tho teh,
22 until the Ancient of Days has come, and judgment is given to the saints of the Most High, and the time has come, and the saints have strengthened the kingdom.
a lathueng poung e Cathut e tami kathoungnaw koe uknaeram teh poe lah ao. Hahoi, uknaeram pang hanelah tami kathoungnaw hanelah khoe e atueng teh a pha.
23 Thus he said: The fourth beast is the fourth kingdom in the earth, that is diverse from all kingdoms, and it consumes all the earth, and treads it down, and breaks it small.
Ahni ni, apalinae sarang teh talai van kaawm e ram puenghoi hai kâvan hoeh e apalinae uknaeram doeh. Hete ni talai uknaeram pueng vekrasen lah kei vaiteh a coungroe han.
24 And the ten horns out of the kingdom [are] ten kings, they rise, and another rises after them, and it is diverse from the former, and it humbles three kings;
Hote uknaeram dawk hoi ka cawn e ki hra touh hateh, ka tho hane siangpahrang hra touh hah doeh. Ahnimouh hnukkhu alouke siangpahrang a tho han. Ahmaloe e siangpahrangnaw hoi kâvan hoeh. Ahmaloe e siangpahrang kathum touh hah a pabo han.
25 and it speaks words as an adversary of the Most High, and it wears out the saints of the Most High, and it hopes to change seasons and law; and they are given into its hand, until a time, and times, and a division of a time.
A lathueng poung e Cathut hah taran vaiteh, puenghoi lawk a dei han. Atueng hoi kâlawk hah pathai hanlah a panki han. Atueng buet touh, atueng kahni touh, atueng tangawn totouh kâ a tawn han.
26 And judgment is set, and they cause his dominion to pass away, to perish, and to be destroyed—to the end;
Hathnukkhu lawkcengnae ao han. Hattoteh kâ a tawnnae takhoe pouh lah awm vaiteh, khoeroe raphoe lah ao han.
27 and the kingdom, and the dominion, even the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heavens, is given to the people—the saints of the Most High, His kingdom [is] a continuous kingdom, and all dominions serve and obey Him.
Kalvan rahim kâtawnnae, uknaeram, hoi lentoenae naw teh, a Lathueng Poung e Cathut e a tami kathoungnaw koe uknaeram poe lah ao han.
28 Here [is] the end of the matter. I, Daniel, [am] greatly troubled [by] my thoughts, and my countenance is changed on me, and I have kept the matter in my heart.”
Het totouh heh, deicainae doeh toe. Kai Daniel teh ka lung a puen teh, ka minhmai pan hoeh. Hatei nakunghai, ka hmu e visionnaw hah ka lung thungvah ka pâkuem.
