Daniel 4
1 “Nebuchadnezzar the king to all peoples, nations, and languages, who are dwelling in all the earth: Your peace be great!
೧ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಸಕಲ ಜನಾಂಗ, ಕುಲ ಭಾಷೆಗಳವರಿಗೆ ರಾಜನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನ ಪ್ರಕಟನೆ, “ನಿಮಗೆ ಸುಖವು ಹೆಚ್ಚೆಚ್ಚಾಗಲಿ!
2 The signs and wonders that God Most High has done with me, it is good before me to show.
೨ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಿರುವ ಮಹತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಚುರಪಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬುವುದು ನನಗೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ತೋರಿಬಂದಿದೆ.
3 How great His signs! And how mighty His wonders! His kingdom [is] a continuous kingdom, and His rule [is] with generation and generation.
೩ಆತನ ಮಹತ್ತುಗಳು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಅತಿಶಯ! ಆತನ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ವಿಶೇಷ! ಆತನ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಶಾಶ್ವತರಾಜ್ಯ, ಆತನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯು ತಲತಲಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದು.”
4 I, Nebuchadnezzar, have been at rest in my house, and flourishing in my palace:
೪“ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನಾದ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಯಾಗಿದ್ದೆನು, ಹೌದು ನನ್ನ ಅರಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಖವಾಗಿದ್ದೆನು.
5 a dream I have seen, and it makes me afraid, and the conceptions on my bed, and the visions of my head, trouble me.
೫ಹೀಗಿರಲು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆದರಿಸುವ ಒಂದು ಕನಸನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆನು; ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗುಂಟಾದ ಯೋಚನೆಗಳೂ, ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದ ಸ್ವಪ್ನಗಳೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳವಳಗೊಳಿಸಿದವು.
6 And by me a decree is made, to cause all the wise men of Babylon to come up before me, that the interpretation of the dream they may cause me to know.
೬ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಕನಸಿನ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಕರೆದುತರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದೆನು.
7 Then coming up are the scribes, the enchanters, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers, and the dream I have told before them, and its interpretation they are not making known to me.
೭“ಜೋಯಿಸರು, ಮಂತ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು, ಪಂಡಿತರು, ಶಾಕುನಿಕರು, ನನ್ನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ನಾನು ಆ ಕನಸನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಲು ಅವರು ಅದರ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಲಾರದೆ ಹೋದರು.
8 And at last Daniel has come up before me, whose name [is] Belteshazzar—according to the name of my god—and in whom [is] the spirit of the holy gods, and the dream before him I have told:
೮ನನ್ನ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರು ಸೇರಿರುವ ಬೇಲ್ತೆಶಚ್ಚರನೆಂಬ ಅಡ್ಡಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದವನೂ, ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧದೇವರುಗಳ ಆತ್ಮವುಳ್ಳವನೂ ಆದ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಲು ನಾನು ಆ ಕನಸನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆನು,
9 O Belteshazzar, master of the scribes, as I have known that the spirit of the holy gods [is] in you, and no secret presses you, the visions of my dream that I have seen, and its interpretation, tell.
೯‘ಬೇಲ್ತೆಶಚ್ಚರನೇ, ಜೋಯಿಸರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನನೇ, ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಆತ್ಮವು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಯಾವ ರಹಸ್ಯವೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಅಶೋಧ್ಯವಲ್ಲವೆಂಬುದು ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತು; ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಕಂಡ ಕನಸನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನೂ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸು.
10 As for the visions of my head on my bed, I was looking, and behold, a tree in the midst of the earth, and its height [is] great:
೧೦ನಾನು ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಲಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದ ಕನಸುಗಳು ಇವೇ. ಇಗೋ, ಲೋಕದ ನಡುವೆ ಬಹು ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಒಂದು ವೃಕ್ಷವನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆನು.
11 the tree has become great, indeed, strong, and its height reaches to the heavens, and its vision to the end of the whole land;
೧೧ಆ ವೃಕ್ಷವು ಬೆಳೆದು ಬಲಗೊಂಡಿತ್ತು, ಅದರ ತುದಿಯು ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು, ಅದು ಭೂಲೋಕದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಗೂ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
12 its leaves [are] beautiful, and its budding great, and food for all [is] in it: under it the beast of the field takes shade, and in its boughs dwell the birds of the heavens, and of it are all flesh fed.
೧೨ಅದರ ಎಲೆಗಳು ಅಂದ, ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಬಹಳ, ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಕ್ಕೂ ಆಹಾರ, ನೆರಳೂ, ಭೂಜಂತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಯ, ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳು ಆಕಾಶ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೆಲೆ, ಅದು ಸಕಲ ಜೀವಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಜೀವನ.
13 I was looking, in the visions of my head on my bed, and behold, a sifter, even a holy one, from the heavens is coming down.
೧೩ನಾನು ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಲಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದ ಕನಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡಲಾಗಿ ದೇವದೂತನು ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದಿಳಿದು ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೂಗಿ,
14 He is calling mightily, and thus has said, Cut down the tree, and cut off its branches, shake off its leaves, and scatter its budding, move away let the beast from under it, and the birds from off its branches;
೧೪ವೃಕ್ಷವನ್ನು ಕಡಿಯಿರಿ, ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿರಿ, ಎಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉದುರಿಸಿರಿ, ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಚೆಲ್ಲಿರಿ; ಮೃಗಗಳು ನೆರಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಲಿ, ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ರೆಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೊರೆದು ಹೋಗಲಿ!
15 but the stump of its roots leave in the earth, even with a band of iron and bronze, in the tender grass of the field, and with the dew of the heavens is it wet, and with the beasts [is] his portion in the herb of the earth;
೧೫ಆದರೆ ಬುಡದ ಮೋಟನ್ನು ನೆಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿಸಿ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣ, ತಾಮ್ರಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿಗಿಯಿರಿ; ಅಡವಿಯ ಹುಲ್ಲು ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತ ಬೆಳೆದಿರಲಿ, ಆಕಾಶದ ಇಬ್ಬನಿಯು ಅದನ್ನು ತೋಯಿಸಲಿ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಹುಲ್ಲು ಮೃಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಗತಿಯಾದಂತೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಗತಿಯಾಗಲಿ.
16 his heart from man’s is changed, and the heart of a beast is given to him, and seven times pass over him;
೧೬ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಹೃದಯವು ಹೋಗಿ ಮೃಗದ ಹೃದಯವು ಬರಲಿ; ಹೀಗೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಏಳು ವರ್ಷ ಕಳೆಯಲಿ.
17 by the decree of the sifters [is] the sentence, and by the saying of the holy ones the requirement, to the intent that the living may know that the Most High is ruler in the kingdom of men, and to whom He wills He gives it, and the lowest of men He raises up over it.
೧೭ಇದು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ, ದೇವರ ತೀರ್ಪು; ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜನಾಗಿ ಅದರ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ತನಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದವರಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕನಿಷ್ಠರನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ನೇಮಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆಂಬುದು ಜೀವಂತರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದುಬರಬೇಕೆಂದೇ ಈ ತೀರ್ಮಾನವಾಯಿತು’ ಎಂದು ಸಾರಿದನು.
18 This dream I have seen, I King Nebuchadnezzar; and you, O Belteshazzar, tell the interpretation, because that all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to cause me to know the interpretation, and you [are] able, for the spirit of the holy gods [is] in you.”
೧೮ರಾಜನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನೆಂಬ ನಾನು ಈ ಕನಸನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆನು; ಬೇಲ್ತೆಶಚ್ಚರನೇ, ನನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸಕಲ ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಲಾರರು; ನೀನು ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸು; ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಆತ್ಮವು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನೀನೇ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತನು.”
19 Then Daniel, whose name [is] Belteshazzar, has been astonished about one hour, and his thoughts trouble him; the king has answered and said, “O Belteshazzar, do not let the dream and its interpretation trouble you.” Belteshazzar has answered and said, “My lord, the dream—to those hating you, and its interpretation—to your enemies!
೧೯ಆಗ ಬೇಲ್ತೆಶಚ್ಚರನೆಂಬ ಅಡ್ಡಹೆಸರಿನ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ತನ್ನ ಬುದ್ಧಿಗೆ ತೋರಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಸಮಯ ಸ್ತಬ್ಧನಾದನು. ರಾಜನು ಇದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ, “ಬೇಲ್ತೆಶಚ್ಚರನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಕನಸಾಗಲಿ, ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆದರಿಸದಿರಲಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು ಬೇಲ್ತೆಶಚ್ಚರನು, “ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ಆ ಕನಸು ನಿನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಫಲಿಸಲಿ, ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವು ನಿನ್ನ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳ ಅನುಭವಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲಿ!
20 The tree that you have seen, that has become great and strong, and its height reaches to the heavens, and its vision to all the land,
೨೦“ಯಾವ ವೃಕ್ಷವು ಬೆಳೆದು ಬಲಗೊಂಡು ಆಕಾಶದ ತುದಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾ,
21 and its leaves [are] beautiful, and its budding great, and food for all [is] in it, under it the beast of the field dwells, and on its boughs the birds of the heavens sit.
೨೧ಲೋಕದವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಅಂದವಾದ ಎಲೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಹಳ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಿಡುತ್ತಾ, ಎಲ್ಲಕ್ಕೂ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತಾ ತನ್ನ ನೆರಳನ್ನು ಭೂಜಂತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ತನ್ನ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಕಾಶ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಕನಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ತೋರಿತೋ,
22 It [is] you, O king, for you have become great and mighty, and your greatness has become great, and has reached to the heavens, and your dominion to the end of the earth;
೨೨ಆ ವೃಕ್ಷವು ನೀನೇ; ರಾಜಾ, ನೀನು ಬೆಳೆದು ಬಲಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯು ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಕಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿದೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯು ಲೋಕದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಗೂ ವ್ಯಾಪಿಸಿದೆ.
23 and that which the king has seen—a sifter, even a holy one, coming down from the heavens, and he has said, Cut down the tree, and destroy it; but the stump of its roots leave in the earth, even with a band of iron and bronze, in the tender grass of the field, and with the dew of the heavens it is wet, and with the beast of the field [is] his portion, until seven times pass over him.
೨೩“ಕಾವಲುಗಾರನಾದ ದೇವದೂತನು ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದಿಳಿದು, ‘ವೃಕ್ಷವನ್ನು ಕಡಿದು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಆದರೆ ಬುಡದ ಮೋಟನ್ನು ನೆಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿಸಿ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣ, ತಾಮ್ರಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿಗಿಯಿರಿ, ಅಡವಿಯ ಹುಲ್ಲು ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತ ಬೆಳೆದಿರಲಿ, ಆಕಾಶದ ಇಬ್ಬನಿಯು ಅದನ್ನು ತೋಯಿಸಲಿ, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಏಳು ವರ್ಷ ಕಳೆಯುವ ತನಕ ಕಾಡು ಮೃಗಗಳ ಸಹವಾಸದ ಗತಿಯು ಬರಲಿ’ ಎಂದು ಸಾರುವುದನ್ನು ರಾಜನಾದ ನೀನು ನೋಡಿದಿಯಲ್ಲಾ.
24 This [is] the interpretation, O king, and it [is] the decree of the Most High that has come against my lord the king:
೨೪“ರಾಜನೇ ಇದರ ತಾತ್ಪರ್ಯವೇನೆಂದರೆ, ಎನ್ನೊಡೆಯನಾದ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಗಿರುವ ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರ ತೀರ್ಪು ಹೀಗಿದೆ.
25 and they are driving you away from men, and your dwelling is with the beast of the field, and they cause you to eat the herb as oxen, and they are wetting you by the dew of the heavens, and pass over you seven times, until you know that the Most High is ruler in the kingdom of men, and to whom He wills He gives it.
೨೫ನೀನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರೊಳಗಿಂದ ತಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಕಾಡು ಮೃಗಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಾಸಿಸುವಿ, ಎತ್ತುಗಳಂತೆ ಹುಲ್ಲು ಮೇಯುವುದೇ ನಿನಗೆ ಗತಿಯಾಗುವುದು, ಆಕಾಶದ ಇಬ್ಬನಿಯು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತೋಯಿಸುವುದು; ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜನಾಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತನಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದವರಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂಬುದು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದು ಬರುವುದರೊಳಗೆ ಏಳು ವರ್ಷ ಹೀಗೆ ಕಳೆಯುವುದು.
26 And that which they said—to leave the stump of the roots of the tree; your kingdom abides for you, after that you know that the heavens are ruling.
೨೬ವೃಕ್ಷದ ಬುಡದ ಮೋಟನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಾಯಿತಲ್ಲಾ; ಇದರ ತಾತ್ಪರ್ಯವೇನೆಂದರೆ ಪರಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಸರ್ವಾಧಿಕಾರ ಉಂಟೆಂಬುವುದನ್ನು ನೀನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡ ನಂತರ ನಿನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ನಿನಗೆ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗುವುದು ಎಂಬುವುದೇ.
27 Therefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable to you, and your sins by righteousness break off, and your perversity by pitying the poor, behold, it is a lengthening of your ease.”
೨೭ಆದಕಾರಣ, ಅರಸನೇ, ಈ ನನ್ನ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಾದವು ನಿನಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆಯಾಗಲಿ, ನೀನು ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಗೊಳಿಸು, ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಕರುಣೆಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳನ್ನು ಧ್ವಂಸಮಾಡು; ಇದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯ ಕಾಲವು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದೀತು” ಎಂದು ಅರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
28 All—has come on Nebuchadnezzar the king.
೨೮ಇದೆಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನ ಅನುಭವಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂತು.
29 At the end of twelve months, on the palace of the kingdom of Babylon he has been walking;
೨೯ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ತಿಂಗಳು ಕಳೆದನಂತರ ಅವನು ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಮಹಡಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರುಗಾಡುತ್ತಾ,
30 the king has answered and said, “Is this not that great Babylon that I have built, for the house of the kingdom, in the might of my strength, and for the glory of my honor?”
೩೦“ನನ್ನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಬರುವಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಬಲದಿಂದ ರಾಜನಿವಾಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದು ಇಗೋ, ಮಹಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾದ ಈ ಬಾಬೆಲ್” ಎಂದು ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡನು.
31 While the word is [in] the king’s mouth a voice from the heavens has fallen: “They are saying to you: O Nebuchadnezzar the king, the kingdom has passed from you,
೩೧ಈ ಮಾತು ರಾಜನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, “ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನೇ, ನಿನಗಾದ ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳು;
32 and from men they are driving you away, and your dwelling [is] with the beast of the field, they cause you to eat the herb as oxen, and pass over you seven times, until you know that the Most High is ruler in the kingdom of men, and to whom He wills He gives it.”
೩೨ರಾಜ್ಯವು ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿದೆ, ನೀನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರೊಳಗಿಂದ ತಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಕಾಡು ಮೃಗಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಾಸಿಸುವಿ, ಎತ್ತುಗಳಂತೆ ಹುಲ್ಲು ಮೇಯುವುದೇ ನಿನಗೆ ಗತಿಯಾಗುವುದು; ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜನಾಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತನಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದವರಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂಬುದು ನಿನ್ನ ತಿಳಿವಳಿಕೆಗೆ ಬರುವುದರೊಳಗೆ ಏಳು ವರ್ಷ ನಿನಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಕಳೆಯುವುದು” ಎಂದು ಆಕಾಶವಾಣಿಯಾಯಿತು.
33 In that hour the thing has been fulfilled on Nebuchadnezzar, and from men he is driven, and he eats the herb as oxen, and his body is wet by the dew of the heavens, until his hair has become great as eagles, and his nails as birds.
೩೩ಈ ನುಡಿಯು ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನಲ್ಲಿ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ನೆರವೇರಿತು; ಅವನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರೊಳಗಿಂದ ತಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು, ಎತ್ತುಗಳಂತೆ ಹುಲ್ಲು ಮೇಯುತ್ತಾ, ಆಕಾಶದ ಇಬ್ಬನಿಯಿಂದ ನೆನೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದನು; ಅವನ ಕೂದಲು ಹದ್ದುಗಳ ಗರಿಯಂತೆಯೂ, ಅವನ ಉಗುರು ಹಕ್ಕಿಗಳ ಉಗುರಿನ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೆಳೆದವು.
34 “And at the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, have lifted up my eyes to the heavens, and my understanding returns to me, and I have blessed the Most High, and the Perpetual Living One I have praised and honored, whose dominion [is] a continuous dominion, and His kingdom with generation and generation;
೩೪ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ಆ ಕಾಲವು ಕಳೆದ ಮೇಲೆ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನಾದ ನಾನು ಪರಲೋಕದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣೆತ್ತಲು ನನ್ನ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯು ಪುನಃ ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನವಾಯಿತು. “ಆಗ ನಾನು ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿ, ಸದಾ ಜೀವಸ್ವರೂಪನಾದವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತುತಿಸ್ತೋತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದೆನು; ಆತನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯು ಶಾಶ್ವತ, ಆತನ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ತಲತಲಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
35 and all who are dwelling on the earth are reckoned as nothing, and according to His will He is doing among the forces of the heavens and those dwelling on the earth, and there is none that claps with his hand and says to Him, What have You done?
೩೫ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಆತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶೂನ್ಯರಾಗಿ ಪರಲೋಕ ಸೈನ್ಯದವರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಭೂಲೋಕದವರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ತದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಆತನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯುತ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ತಡೆಹಿಡಿಯಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ‘ನೀನು ಏನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀ?’” ಎಂದು ಯಾರೂ ಕೇಳಲಾರರು.
36 At that time my understanding returns to me, and for the glory of my kingdom, my honor and my brightness return to me, and to me my counselors and my great men seek, and over my kingdom I have been made right, and abundant greatness has been added to me.
೩೬ಅದೇ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯು ಪುನಃ ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನವಾಯಿತು; ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಭಾವ ವೈಭವಗಳು ನನಗೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಲಭಿಸಿ ನನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯು ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸಿತು; ನನ್ನ ಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳೂ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಾನಪಡಿಸಿದರು; ನನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜನಾಗಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡೆನು; ನನ್ನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯು ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕವಾಯಿತು.
37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, am praising and exalting and honoring the King of the heavens, for all His works [are] truth, and His paths judgment, and those walking in pride He is able to humble.”
೩೭ಈಗ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನಾದ ನಾನು ಪರಲೋಕ ರಾಜನನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳಿ, ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿ ಕೀರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆತನ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸತ್ಯ, ಆತನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನ್ಯಾಯ; ಸೊಕ್ಕಿನಿಂದ ನಡೆಯುವವರನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸಬಲ್ಲನು.
