< Daniel 10 >
1 In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia, a thing is revealed to Daniel, whose name is called Belteshazzar, and the thing [is] true, and the warfare [is] great: and he has understood the thing, and has understanding about the appearance.
Ní ọdún kẹta Kirusi ọba Persia, a fi ìran kan hàn Daniẹli (ẹni tí à ń pè ní Belteṣassari). Òtítọ́ ni ọ̀rọ̀ ìran náà, ó sì ní í ṣe pẹ̀lú àsìkò ìpọ́njú ńlá, òye ọ̀rọ̀ náà wá bá a nínú ìran.
2 “In those days, I, Daniel, have been mourning three weeks of days;
Ní àsìkò náà, èmi Daniẹli ṣọ̀fọ̀ fún ọ̀sẹ̀ mẹ́ta.
3 I have not eaten desirable bread, and no flesh and wine came into my mouth, and I have not anointed myself at all, until the completion of three weeks of days.
Èmi kì í jẹ oúnjẹ tí ó dára, èmi kò fi ẹran tàbí wáìnì kan ẹnu mi, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni èmi kò fi òróró para títí ọ̀sẹ̀ mẹ́ta fi kọjá.
4 And in the twenty-fourth day of the first month, I have been by the side of the great river, that [is] Hiddekel:
Ní ọjọ́ kẹrìnlélógún oṣù àkọ́kọ́, bí mo ti dúró sí etí i bèbè odò ńlá Tigirisi,
5 and I lift up my eyes, and look, and behold, a certain one clothed in linen, and his loins girt with pure gold of Uphaz,
mo wo òkè, mo rí ọkùnrin kan tí ó wọ aṣọ àlà, ẹ̀gbẹ́ ẹni tí a fi wúrà Upasi dáradára dì ní àmùrè.
6 and his body as a beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet as the aspect of bright bronze, and the voice of his words as the voice of a multitude.
Ara rẹ̀ dàbí berili, ojú u rẹ̀ dàbí mọ̀nàmọ́ná, ẹyin ojú u rẹ̀ dàbí iná àtẹ̀tàn, apá àti ẹsẹ̀ rẹ̀ dàbí ìtànná ìmọ́lẹ̀ tí o kún fún idẹ, àti ohùn rẹ̀ dàbí i ti ìjọ ènìyàn púpọ̀.
7 And I, Daniel, have seen the vision by myself, and the men who have been with me have not seen the vision, but a great trembling has fallen on them, and they flee to be hidden;
Èmi Daniẹli, ni ẹnìkan tí ó rí ìran náà, àwọn ọkùnrin tí ó wà pẹ̀lú u mi, wọn kò rí i, ṣùgbọ́n ìpayà ńlá dà bò wọ́n, wọ́n sálọ wọ́n sì fi ara pamọ́.
8 and I have been left by myself, and I see this great vision, and there has been no power left in me, and my splendor has been turned in me to corruption, indeed, I have not retained power.
Ó sì ku èmi nìkan, tí mo rí ìran ńlá yìí, kò sì ku okun kankan fún mi, ojú u mi sì rẹ̀wẹ̀sì gidigidi, n kò sì ní agbára mọ́.
9 And I hear the voice of his words, and when I hear the voice of his words, then I have been in a trance on my face, and my face [is] to the earth;
Nígbà náà, ni mo gbọ́ tí ó ń sọ̀rọ̀, bí mo ṣe tẹ́tí sílẹ̀ sí i, mo sùn lọ fọnfọn, ní ìdojúbolẹ̀.
10 and behold, a hand has come against me, and shakes me on my knees and the palms of my hands.
Ọwọ́ kan kàn mí, ó gbé mi dìde ní ìwárìrì lórí ọwọ́ àti eékún mi.
11 And he says to me: Daniel, man greatly desired, attend to the words that I am speaking to you, and stand on your station, for now I have been sent to you. And when he speaks with me this word, I have stood trembling.
Ó sọ pé, “Daniẹli ẹni tí a yàn fẹ́ gidigidi gba ọ̀rọ̀ tí mo fẹ́ bá ọ sọ yìí yẹ̀ wò dáradára, kí o sì dìde, nítorí tí a rán mi sí ọ.” Bí ó ṣe sọ èyí fún mi, mo dìde ní ìwárìrì.
12 And he says to me: Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you gave your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words.
Nígbà náà ni ó tẹ̀síwájú, pé, “Má ṣe bẹ̀rù Daniẹli. Láti ọjọ́ àkọ́kọ́ tí ìwọ ti fi ọkàn rẹ sílẹ̀ níwájú Ọlọ́run rẹ, a gbọ́ ọ̀rọ̀ rẹ, mo sì wá nítorí ọ̀rọ̀ náà.
13 And the head of the kingdom of Persia is standing in opposition in front of me [for] twenty-one days, and behold, Michael, first of the chief heads, has come to help me, and I have remained there near the kings of Persia;
Ṣùgbọ́n ọmọ-aládé ìjọba Persia dá mi dúró fún ọjọ́ mọ́kànlélógún. Nígbà náà ni Mikaeli, ọ̀kan lára ìjòyè àwọn ọmọ-aládé, wá láti ràn mi lọ́wọ́, nítorí a dá mi dúró níbẹ̀ pẹ̀lú ọba Persia.
14 and I have come to cause you to understand that which happens to your people in the latter end of the days, for yet the vision [is] after days.
Ní ìsinsin yìí mo wá láti ṣàlàyé ohun tí yóò ṣẹlẹ̀ sí àwọn ènìyàn rẹ ní ọjọ́ iwájú, nítorí ìran náà ń sọ nípa ọjọ́ iwájú.”
15 And when he speaks with me about these things, I have set my face toward the earth, and have been silent;
Bí ó sì ti ń sọ nǹkan wọ̀nyí fún mi, mo sì dorí kodò mo sì dákẹ́.
16 and behold, as the manner of the sons of men, he is striking against my lips, and I open my mouth, and I speak, and say to him who is standing in opposition in front of me: My lord, by the vision my pangs have been turned against me, and I have retained no power.
Nígbà náà, ni ẹnìkan tí ó rí bí ènìyàn fi ọwọ́ kan ètè mi, mo la ẹnu mi, mo sì bẹ̀rẹ̀ sí ní sọ ọ̀rọ̀, mo sọ fún ẹni tí ó dúró níwájú mi, “Ìrònú sì mú mi, nítorí ìran náà, olúwa mi, n kò sì ní okun.
17 And how is the servant of this my lord able to speak with this my lord? As for me, from now on there remains in me no power, indeed, breath has not been left in me.
Ǹjẹ́ báwo ni èmi ìránṣẹ́ ẹ̀ rẹ ṣe lè bá ọ sọ̀rọ̀, olúwa mi? Agbára mi ti lọ, agbára káká ni mo fi ń mí.”
18 And he adds, and strikes against me, as the appearance of a man, and strengthens me,
Ẹ̀wẹ̀, ẹnìkan tí ó rí bí ènìyàn fi ọwọ́ kàn mí, ó sì fún mi ní agbára.
19 and he says: Do not fear, O man greatly desired, peace to you, be strong, indeed, be strong; and when he speaks with me, I have strengthened myself, and I say, Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.
Ó sì wí pé, “Má ṣe bẹ̀rù, ìwọ ọkùnrin olùfẹ́ gidigidi. Àlàáfíà ni fún ọ, mú ara le, àní mú ara le.” Nígbà tí ohun bá mi sọ̀rọ̀, a sì mú mi lára le. “Mo sì wí pé, kí olúwa mi kí ó máa sọ̀rọ̀, níwọ̀n ìgbà tí ìwọ ti mú mi ní ara le.”
20 And he says, Have you known why I have come to you? And now I return to fight with the head of Persia; indeed, I am going forth, and behold, the head of Javan has come;
Nígbà náà, ni ó wí pé, “Ṣé o mọ ìdí tí mo fi tọ̀ ọ́ wá? Láìpẹ́ èmi yóò yípadà lọ bá àwọn ọmọ-aládé Persia jà, nígbà tí mo bá lọ àwọn ọmọ-aládé Giriki yóò wá;
21 but I declare to you that which is noted down in the Writing of Truth, and there is not one strengthening himself with me, concerning these, except Michael your head.”
ṣùgbọ́n ní àkọ́kọ́, èmi yóò sọ ohun tí wọ́n kọ sínú ìwé òtítọ́ fún ọ. (Kò sí ẹni tí ó kún mi lọ́wọ́ fún nǹkan wọ̀nyí bí kò ṣe Mikaeli, ọmọ-aládé e yín.
