< Colossians 3 >
1 If, then, you were raised with the Christ, seek the things above, where the Christ is, seated on the right hand of God;
Alabha lindi Nyamuanga abhasigile amwi na Kristo, mbe jemujiyenje emisango jinu jili ingulu enu Kristo enyanjile mu kubhoko kwebhulyo okwa Nyamuanga.
2 mind the things above, not the things on the earth,
Nimwiganilishe okulubhana ne misango jinu jili ingulu, jitali jo okulubhana ne misango je Chalo.
3 for you died, and your life has been hid with the Christ in God;
kulwo kubha mufuye, no bhulame bhwemwe bhuselekelwe amwi na Kristo ku Nyamuanga.
4 when the Christ—our life—may have appeared, then we will also appear with Him in glory.
Mu mwanya gunu Kristo alibhonekana, ganu bhuli bhulame bhwemwe, mbe niwo nemwe one mulibhonekana nage mwikusho.
5 Put to death, then, your members that [are] on the earth—whoredom, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and the covetousness, which is idolatry—
Kulwejo nimugete emisango ago gali mu chalo ganu gali, obhulomesi, obhujabhi, inamba mbibhi, okwisigombela kubhibhi, no bhulomesi, ago nigo ibhaada yo kulamya ebhisusano.
6 because of which things comes the anger of God on the sons of the disobedience,
Ni ingulu ye misango jinu lisungu lya Nyamuanga elija ingulu ya bhana bhanyantogwa.
7 in which you also—you once walked, when you lived in them;
Ni ingulu ye misango jinu emwe one mwalibhatiyemo anu mwejile mwekala agati- yebhwe.
8 but now put off, even you, the whole—anger, wrath, malice, slander, filthy talking—out of your mouth.
Mbe nawe woli ni bhusi-bhusi mugasoshewo amasango ganu gona. Ganu gali, lisungu, ebhinyiga, okwisigombela kubhibhi, okufuma, ne misango mijabhi jinu ejisoka mu minwa nemwe.
9 Do not lie to one another, having put off the old man with his practices,
Mwasiga kujigana abhene kwa abhene, kwo kubha mwamufulile omunu wemwe owa kala ne bhikolwa bhyaye.
10 and having put on the new, which is renewed in regard to knowledge, after the image of Him who created him,
Mwafwaye munu muyaya, bhunu obhukolwa bhuyaya mu bhumenyi okulubhana ne chijejekanyo cha uliya unu amumogele.
11 where there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, servant, freeman, but Christ [is] all and in all.
Mu bhumenyi bhunu, ataliyo mugiriki amwi Muyaudi, okutendwa no kulemo tendwa, okusoka, unu atali musomi, mugaya, na unu atali mugaya, mbe nawe kukila mwenene Kristo ni misango jona mu jona.
12 Put on, therefore, as chosen ones of God, holy and beloved, yearnings of mercies, kindness, humble-mindedness, meekness, long-suffering,
Kuti bhasolwa bha Nyamuanga abhelu na abhendwa, nimufwalega obhunyamunu bhwe kisi, obhwila, obhwikeya, obhwololo no kwigumilisha.
13 bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if anyone may have a quarrel with anyone, as the Christ also forgave you—so also you;
Nimugegelanega abhene kwa bhene. Nimusasilanega bhuli munu no wejabho. Alabha omunu akabha ne chisango chitasikene no wejabho, amusasile lwa kutyo guliya gwabhee Latabhugenyi abhasasiye emwe.
14 and above all these things, [have] love, which is a bond of the perfection,
kukila masango ganu gona, nimubhe no kwenda, chinu nicho echikolwa cho bhukumiye.
15 and let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you were also called in one body, and become thankful.
Omulembe gwa Kristo na gubhatangashe mu Mioyo jemwe. Jaliga jili ingulu yo mulembe gunu ati mwabhilikiliywe mu mubhili gumwi. Nimubhega na isime.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing each other, in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs, in grace singing in your hearts to the LORD;
No musango gwa Kristo gwikalega mwime kwo bhunibhi. Kwo bhengeso bhwona, nimwiigishanye no kuindana abhene kwa bhene mu jabhuli, mu nyimbo, na mu nyimbo ja mu Mioyo. Nimwimbe kwa isime mu Mioyo jemwe ku Nyamuanga.
17 and all, whatever you may do in word or in work, [do] all things in the Name of the Lord Jesus—giving thanks to the God and Father, through Him.
Na chona chona chinu okukolwa, mu misango amwi mu bhikolwa, nimukolega jona mwisina lya Latabhugenyi Yesu. Mumuyane isime Nyamuanga Lata okulabha ku mwene.
18 The wives: be subject to your own husbands, as is fit in the LORD;
Abhagasi, bholobhelega abhalume bhwebhwe, lwa kutyo ejikondelesha mu Latabhugenyi.
19 the husbands: love your wives, and do not be bitter with them;
Emwe one abhalume, nimubhendega abhagasi bhemwe, na mwasiga kubha bhalulu ku bhenene.
20 the children: obey the parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the LORD;
Abhana abhatoto, nimubholobhelega abhebhusi bhemwe mu misango jona, kulwo kubha nikwo kutyo ejimukondelesha Latabhugenyi.
21 the fathers: do not distress your children, lest they be discouraged;
Emwe one bhalata nimusigega okubhanyasha abhana abhatoto bhemwe, koleleki ati bhasiga kufwa mutima.
22 the servants: obey those who are masters in all things according to the flesh, not in eye-service as men-pleasers, but in simplicity of heart, fearing God;
Emwe abhagaya, nimubholobhelega abhakulu bhemwe mu mubhili ku misango jona, atali kwo bhufulubhendi bhwa meso kuti bhanu bho kukondelesha-la, nawe kwo Mwoyo gwe chimali. Mumubhaye Nyamuanga.
23 and all, whatever you may do—out of soul work—as to the LORD, and not to men,
Chona chona chinu omukola, nimukolega okusoka mu mitima jemwe kuti ku Latabhugenyi na atali ku bhana-munu.
24 having known that you will receive the repayment of the inheritance from the LORD—for you serve the LORD Christ;
Mumenyele ati muliyela omuyelo gwo omugabho okusoka ku Latabhugenyi. Ni Kristo Latabhugenyi unu omukolela.
25 and he who is doing unrighteously will receive what he did unrighteously, and there is no favor by appearance.
Kunsonga yona yona unu kakola ganu gatali go bhulengelesi alilamila indamu ku bhikolwa bhinu bhitali bhyo bhulengelesi ganu akolele, na italio solole.
