< Colossians 2 >
1 For I wish you to know how great a conflict I have for you and those in Laodicea, and as many as have not seen my face in the flesh,
Mepɛ sɛ mema mo ne nnipa a wɔwɔ Laodikea no ne wɔn a wonhuu me da no hu aperepere dennen a meredi wɔ wɔn ho.
2 that their hearts may be comforted, being united in love, and to all riches of the full assurance of the understanding, to the full knowledge of the secret of the God and Father, and of the Christ,
Me botae ne sɛ wobenya nkuranhyɛ wɔ wɔn koma mu, na wɔatena ase ɔdɔ mu, sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a wobenya ntease a ewie pɛyɛ. Na wobehu Onyankopɔn ahintasɛm a ɛne Kristo no.
3 in whom are all the treasures of the wisdom and the knowledge hid,
4 and this I say, that no one may deceive you with enticing words,
Meka kyerɛ mo se mommma obiara mfa akyinnyehunu nnaadaa mo.
5 for if even in the flesh I am absent—yet in the spirit I am with you, rejoicing and beholding your order, and the steadfastness of your faith in regard to Christ;
Ɛwɔ mu sɛ minni mo nkyɛn wɔ ɔhonam fam de, nanso mewɔ mo nkyɛn wɔ honhom fam. Ɛyɛ me anigye nso sɛ monam Kristo mu gyidi so aka mo ho abɔ mu gyina hɔ pintinn.
6 as, then, you received Christ Jesus the LORD, walk in Him,
Esiane sɛ moagye Kristo sɛ mo wura nti, mo ne no mmom ntena.
7 being rooted and built up in Him, and confirmed in the faith, as you were taught—abounding in it in thanksgiving.
Munnye ntin na munyin wɔ ne mu; na mo gyidi mu nyɛ den daa, sɛnea wɔkyerɛɛ mo no, na monna no ase.
8 See that no one will be carrying you away as spoil through philosophy and vain deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the rudiments of the world, and not according to Christ,
Monhwɛ yiye na obi amfa ne nnaadaa a efi nnipa nkyerɛkyerɛ ne wiase ahonhom mu a emfi Kristo no amfa mo nnommum.
9 because in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily,
Efisɛ Onyankopɔn tebea nyinaa ara te Kristo nipadua mu,
10 and you are made full in Him, who is the head of all principality and authority,
11 in whom you also were circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of sins of the flesh by the circumcision of the Christ,
Mo ne no ka bɔɔ mu no, wotwaa mo twetia a ɛnyɛ nnipa na wotwaa mo, na mmom ɛyɛ Kristo no ankasa na otwaa mo twetia de twee mo fii nipadua a ɛho ntew no tumi ase.
12 being buried with Him in the immersion, in which you also rose with [Him] through the faith of the working of God, who raised Him out of the dead.
Wɔbɔɔ mo asu no nso, wosiee mo ne Kristo. Afei wonyan mo ne no fii awufo mu, efisɛ na mowɔ gyidi wɔ Onyankopɔn tumi a enyan Kristo fii awufo mu no mu.
13 And you—being dead in the trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh—He made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all the trespasses,
14 having blotted out the handwriting in the ordinances that is against us, that was contrary to us, and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the Cross;
Onyankopɔn pepaa yɛn mmarato; na ɔde ne nyinaa kɔɔ asennua so kɔbɔɔ no asennua mu.
15 having stripped the principalities and the authorities, He made a show of them openly—having triumphed over them by it.
Ɔmaa wiase nyinaa huu sɛnea ɔfaa wɔn sɛ nneduafo, bere a ɔhyɛɛ ne nkonimdi ho fa no.
16 Let no one, then, judge you in eating or in drinking, or in respect of a celebration, or of a new moon, or of Sabbaths,
Enti mommma obiara nhyehyɛ mmara a ɛfa nea mudi anaa nea monom, nna kronkron anaa ɔsram foforo afahyɛ anaa nea ɛfa homenna ho mmma mo.
17 which are a shadow of the coming things, but the body [is] of the Christ;
Saa nneɛma no nyinaa yɛ daakye mu nsɛm sunsuma. Kristo ne hann no.
18 let no one deceive you of your prize, delighting in humble-mindedness and [in] worship of the messengers, intruding into the things he has not seen, being vainly puffed up by the mind of his flesh,
Mommma nnipa a wɔboa pa brɛ wɔn ho ase anaa wɔsom abɔfo nnaadaa mo; wɔhoahoa wɔn ho sɛ wɔanya anisoadehu. Saa ahantanfo yi wɔ anifere su.
19 and not holding the Head, from which all the body—gathering supply through the joints and bands, and being knit together—may increase with the increase of God.
Saa nnipa yi nyɛ Kristo a ɔyɛ nipadua no nyinaa ti no de bio. Kristo na ɔma nipadua no ahoɔden na ɔka nipadua no akwaa nyinaa bɔ mu ma enyin sɛnea Onyankopɔn pɛ sɛ enyin no.
20 If, then, you died with the Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as living in the world, are you subject to ordinances—
Mo ne Kristo awu nti moatew mo ho afi ahonhom a wodi wiase so no ho. Adɛn nti na mobɔ mo bra sɛ nnipa a wɔhyɛ saa wiase no ase? Adɛn nti na mudi saa mmara a ese,
21 you may not touch, nor taste, nor handle—
“Munnso eyi mu!” “Munnni eyi!” “Mommfa mo nsa nka!” no so?
22 which are all for destruction with the using, after the commands and teachings of men,
23 which are, indeed, having a matter of wisdom in self-willed religion, and humble-mindedness, and neglecting of body—not of any value to satisfying the flesh.
Ayɛ sɛ saa Mmara yi sodi ye pa ara, na ɛma wodɔ Onyankopɔn, anaasɛ ɛma wobrɛ wo ho ase ma wohyɛ wo ho so. Nanso saa mmara yi nni tumi biara wɔ onipa akɔnnɔ bɔne so.
