Amos 3

1 Hear this word that YHWH has spoken concerning you, O sons of Israel, concerning all the family that I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,

၁အိုဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား တို့၊ အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည် မှ ငါနှုတ်ဆောင် သော အမျိုးသား အပေါင်း တို့၊ သင် တို့ကို ရည်မှတ်၍ ငါထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသောစကား ကို နားထောင် ကြလော့။

2 “Only you have I known of all families of the earth, Therefore I charge on you all your iniquities.”

၂မြေကြီး ပေါ်မှာနေသောအမျိုးသား အပေါင်း တို့တွင် သင် တို့တမျိုး တည်းကိုသာ ငါလက်ခံ သောကြောင့် ၊ သင် တို့အပြစ် ရှိသမျှ တို့ကို ငါစစ်ကြော မည်။

3 Do two walk together if they have not met?

၃လူနှစ် ဦးသည် သဘော မ တူလျှင် ၊ ပေါင်းဘော် ၍ ခရီးသွား နိုင်သလော ။

4 Does a lion roar in a forest and he has no prey? Does a young lion give out his voice from his habitation, If he has not caught?

၄ခြင်္သေ့ သည် ဘမ်းစရာ မ ရှိလျှင် ၊ တော ၌ ဟောက် လိမ့်မည်လော ။ ခြင်္သေ့ပျို သည် အဘယ်အရာကိုမျှမ ဘမ်းမိ လျှင် ၊ တွင်း ထဲက အသံ ပြု လိမ့်မည်လော ။

5 Does a bird fall into a snare of the earth, And there is no trap for it? Does a snare go up from the ground, And it does not capture prey?

၅မြေ ပေါ်မှာ ကျော့ကွင်း နှင့်မ ထောင် လျှင် ၊ ငှက် ကို ကျော့မိ လိမ့်မည်လော ။ ထောင် ထားသော ကျော့ကွင်း ၌ အဘယ်အရာကိုမျှ မရမှီထောင်ထားရာအရပ်မှ နှုတ်သွား လိမ့်မည်လော ။

6 Is a horn blown in a city, And do people not tremble? Is there affliction in a city, And YHWH has not done [it]?

၆မြို့ ထဲမှာ တံပိုး မှုတ် လျှင် ၊ မြို့သား တို့သည် မ ကြောက် မလန့်ဘဲနေကြလိမ့်မည်လော။ ထာဝရဘုရား စီရင် တော်မ မူဘဲ ဘေး တစုံတခုသည် မြို့ ထဲမှာ ရောက် လိမ့်မည်လော။

7 For Lord YHWH does nothing, Except He has revealed His counsel to His servants the prophets.

၇အကယ် စင်စစ်အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မိမိ ကျွန် ပရောဖက် တို့အား မဘော် မပြဘဲ အဘယ်အမှုကိုမျှ စီရင် တော်မ မူ။

8 A lion has roared—who does not fear? Lord YHWH has spoken—who does not prophesy?

၈ခြင်္သေ့ ဟောက် သောအခါ၊ အဘယ် သူမျှမ ကြောက် မလန့်ဘဲ နေလိမ့်မည်နည်း။ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသောအခါ၊ အဘယ် သူသည် ပရောဖက် မ ပြုဘဲနေလိမ့်မည်နည်း။

9 “Sound to palaces in Ashdod, And to palaces in the land of Egypt, and say: Be gathered on mountains of Samaria, And see many troubles within her, And oppressed ones in her midst.

၉အာဇုတ် မြို့ ဘုံ ဗိမာန်တို့နှင့် အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည် ဘုံ ဗိမာန်တို့တွင် သိတင်းကြားပြော ရမည်မှာ ၊ ရှမာရိ တောင် တို့ အပေါ် မှာစုဝေး ၍ ၊ ရှမာရိ မြို့ထဲမှာ ရုန်းရင်းခတ် ခြင်းအမှုကို၎င်း ၊ မြို့ ထဲမှာ ညှဉ်းဆဲ ခံရသောသူတို့ကို၎င်း ကြည့်ရှု ကြလော့။

10 And they have not known to act straightforwardly,” A declaration of YHWH, “Who are treasuring up violence and spoil in their palaces.”

၁၀မြို့သားတို့သည် တရား သောအမှုကို မ ပြု တတ်၊ အနိုင်အထက် ပြု၍ လုယူ သောဥစ္စာကို ဘုံ ဗိမာန်တို့၌ သိုထား တတ်ကြသည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။

11 Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: “An adversary—and surrounding the land, And he has brought down your strength from you, And your palaces have been spoiled.”

၁၁ထိုကြောင့် ၊ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား ၊ ရန်သူ တို့သည် ရှမာရိပြည် ကိုဝိုင်း ပြီးလျှင် ၊ သင် ၏အစွမ်း သတ္တိကို နှိမ့်ချ ၍ ၊ ဗိမာန် တို့ကို ဖြိုဖျက် ကြလိမ့်မည်။

12 Thus said YHWH: “As the shepherd delivers from the lion’s mouth Two legs, or a piece of an ear, So the sons of Israel are delivered, Who are sitting in Samaria on the corner of a bed, And in Damascus [on that of] a couch.

၁၂ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား ၊ သိုးထိန်း သည် ခြင်္သေ့ နှုတ် ထဲက ခြေ နှစ်ခု ၊ သို့မဟုတ် ၊ နားရွက် တပိုင်း ကို နှုတ်ယူ သကဲ့သို့ ရှမာရိ မြို့၌ ခုတင် ထောင့် ၊ ဒမာသက် မွေ့ရာ ဖုံပေါ်မှာ ထိုင် သော ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား တို့ကို နှုတ်ယူ ရလိမ့်မည်။

13 Hear and testify to the house of Jacob,” A declaration of Lord YHWH, God of Hosts.

၁၃ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ ကို အစိုးပိုင်သော ဘုရား သခင်၊ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသောစကားကို သင်တို့သည် နားထောင် ၍ ယာကုပ် အမျိုးသား တို့အား ဆင့်ဆို ရမည်မှာ၊

14 “For in the day of My charging the transgressions of Israel on him, I have laid a charge on the altars of Beth-El, And the horns of the altar have been cut off, And they have fallen to the earth.

၁၄အကယ် စင်စစ်ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၏ အပြစ် တို့ကို စစ်ကြော သောနေ့ ၌ ၊ ဗေသလ ယဇ် ပလ္လင်တို့ကို ငါစစ်ကြော လျက် ၊ ယဇ် ပလ္လင်ဦးချို တို့ကိုဖြတ် ၍ မြေ ပေါ် သို့ချ မည်။

15 And I have struck the winter-house with the summer-house, And houses of ivory have perished, And many houses have been consumed,” A declaration of YHWH!

၁၅ဆောင်း ကာလ၌ စံသောနန်းတော် နှင့် နွေ ကာလ၌စံသော နန်းတော် တို့ကို ငါထိခိုက် ၍ ၊ ဆင်စွယ် ဖြင့် ပြီးသော အိမ် တို့ကိုဖျက်ဆီး မည်။ ဘုံ ဗိမာန်တို့သည်လည်း ဆုံး ကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
