< Acts 8 >
1 And Saul was assenting to his death, and there came in that day a great persecution on the Assembly in Jerusalem, all were also scattered abroad in the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles;
Sauli aliga ali mu kwikilishanya ingulu yo lufu lwae. olusiku olwo nilwo ambhile okubhanyasha mu bhutasikene na likanisa linu lyaliga mu Yerusalemu; abhekilisha bhona bhanu bhanyalagene mu maanga aga mu Yudea na Samaria, atali Jitumwa.
2 and devout men carried Stephen away, and made great lamentation over him;
Abhanu bhanu bhaliga bhamwikilisishe Nyamuanga bhamusikile Stefano no kumukolela echalamo chinene.
3 and Saul was making havoc of the Assembly, entering into every house, and dragging away men and women, giving them up to prison;
Mbe nawe Sauli nanyasha muno li kanisa. Nagenda bhuli nyumbha no kubhakwesela anja abhagasi na bhalume, no kubhesa mwibhoyelo.
4 they then indeed, having been scattered, went abroad proclaiming good news—the word.
Abhekilisha bhanu bhaliga bhanyalagene bhaliga bhachasimula omusango.
5 And Philip having gone down to a city of Samaria, was preaching the Christ to them;
Filipo neka mu musi gwa Samaria no kumulasha Kristo eyo.
6 the multitudes were also giving heed to the things spoken by Philip, with one accord, in their hearing and seeing the signs that he was doing,
Wejile amekofyanyisho gongwa no kulola ebhibhalikisho bhinu Filipo akolele; nibhetegelesha ingulu ya chinu aikile.
7 for unclean spirits came forth from many who were possessed, crying with a loud voice, and many who have been paralytic and lame were healed,
Okusoka ao abhanu bhafu bhanu bhonguywe, amasambhwa amajabhi ngabhasokako abhanu kenu nibhalila kwo bhulaka bhunene, na bhafu bhanu bhaliga bhafuye omubhili na bhalema nibheulisibhwa.
8 and there was great joy in that city.
Kwibhyo bhwabheyeo bhukondeleywe bhunene mu musi.
9 And a certain man, by name Simon, was previously in the city using magic, and amazing the nation of Samaria, saying himself to be a certain great one,
Mbe nawe aliga alio omunu umwi mu musi gulya lisina lyae Simoni, unu akolaga obhulosi; bhunu akolaga kwo kubhatang 'a ng'asha abhanu abha liyanga lya Samaria, ku mwanya gundi naika ati mwenene ni munu wa insonga.
10 to whom they were all giving heed, from small to great, saying, “This one is the great power of God”;
AbhaSamaria bhona okwambhila ku mutoto kukinga ku mukulu, nibhamutegelesha; nibhaika; “omunu unu ni managa ga Nyamuanga ganu gali makulu.
11 and they were giving heed to him, because of his having amazed them for a long time with deeds of magic.
nibhamungwa, kulwo kubha abhatang'ang'ashaga mwanya mulela kwo bhulosi bhwae.
12 And when they believed Philip, proclaiming good news, the things concerning the Kingdom of God and the Name of Jesus Christ, they were immersed—both men and women;
Mbe nawe mu mwanya ogwo bhejile bhekilisha ati Filipo asimuye ingulu yo bhukama bhwa Nyamuanga na kulwa Lisina Lya Yesu kristo, nibhabhatijibhwa, abhalume na bhagasi.
13 and Simon himself also believed, and having been immersed, he was continuing with Philip, beholding also signs and mighty acts being done, he was amazed.
Simoni one ekilisishe: ejile abhatijibhwa, nagendelela okubha na Filipo; ejile alola ebhibhalikisho ne bhikumisho bhinu bhyakolekaga, nalugula.
14 And the apostles in Jerusalem having heard that Samaria has received the word of God, sent Peter and John to them,
Omwanya gunu jitumwa jaliga jili Yerusalemu jejile jongwa ati Samaria one yalamie omusango gwa nyamuanga nibhabhatuma Petro na Yohana.
15 who having come down prayed concerning them, that they may receive the Holy Spirit—
Mbe bhejile bheka nibhabhasabhila, nibhamulamila mwoyo mwelu.
16 for as yet He was fallen on none of them, and only they have been immersed—into the Name of the Lord Jesus;
okukinga ku mwanya ogwo, Mwoyo Mwelu aliga achali kubhekila na umwi webhwe, bhaliga bhabhatijibhwe-la Mwisina lya Latabugenyi Yesu.
17 then they were laying hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
Ao niwo Petro na Yohana nibhabhatelako amabhoko mbe niwo nibhamulamila Mwoyo Mwelu.
18 And Simon, having beheld that through the laying on of the hands of the apostles the Holy Spirit is given, brought money before them,
Mu mwanya ogwo Simoni ejile alola ati Mwoyo Mwelu kasosibhwa okulabha kwo kutelwako amabhoko ga jitumwa; Nenda okubhayana Jimpilya,
19 saying, “Give also to me this authority, that on whomsoever I may lay the hands, he may receive the Holy Spirit.”
Mbe naika, “munane amanaga ganu, koleleki bhuli unu nilamutelagako amabhoko amulamile Mwoyo Mwelu.”
20 And Peter said to him, “Your silver with you—may it be to destruction! Because you thought to possess the gift of God through money;
Nawe Petero namubhwila ati; Jimpilya jao amwi nawe bhije kula, kulwo kubha outoga ati echiyanwa cha Nyamuanga echibhonekana mu mpilya.
21 you have neither part nor lot in this thing, for your heart is not right before God;
Utana ebhala ku musango gunu, kulwo kubha omwoyo gwao gutemile imbhele ya Nyamuanga.
22 convert, therefore, from this your wickedness, and implore God, if then the purpose of your heart may be forgiven you,
kulwejo nute amabhibhi gao no kumusabhwa Nyamuanga amwi ousasilwa ameganilisho go mwoyo gwao.
23 for in the gall of bitterness, and bond of unrighteousness, I perceive you being.”
kulwo kubha enilola uli mu bhululu bhwa indulu na mwibhoyo lye bhibhibhi.
24 And Simon answering, said, “Implore for me to the LORD, that nothing may come on me of the things you have spoken.”
Simoni nasubhya naika ati,”musabhile ku Latabugenyi kulwo kubha amasango gone ganu mwaika agatula okumbhona.
25 They indeed, therefore, having testified fully, and spoken the word of the LORD, turned back to Jerusalem; they also proclaimed good news in many villages of the Samaritans.
Omwanya ogwo Petro na Yohana anu bhaliga nibhagubhambhalila no kusimula omusango gwa Latabugenyi, bhasubhile Yerusalemu mu njila eyo; bhasimuye omusango gwo bhwana mu misi myafu eja Bhasamaria.
26 And a messenger of the LORD spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise, and go on toward the south, on the way that is going down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” (This is desolate.)
Mbe malaika wa Latabugenyi naika no kumubhwila Filipo no kwaika,”imuka ulole na ugende mu malimbhe ku njila eyo eitelemukila mu Yerusalemu kwo kulolela Gaza.”(injila inu ili ibhala).
27 And having arisen, he went on, and behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch, a man of rank, of Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who was over all her treasure, who had come to Jerusalem to worship;
Namaga- maga okwiya nagenda. Mbe lola, aliga alio omunu wa Itiopia, omunaule omunu wo bhutulo bhafu emwalo ya kadase; omukamagasi wa abhaisiopia. Unu aliga ateyweo kubha mubhiki we bhinu bhyae bhyona; one aliga agendele Yerusalemu okulamya.
28 he was also returning, and is sitting on his chariot, and he was reading the prophet Isaiah.

29 And the Spirit said to Philip, “Go near, and be joined to this chariot”;
Mwoyo naika na Filipo, “ilila ayei na ligali koleleki umililane nalyo.
30 and Philip having run near, heard him reading the prophet Isaiah and said, “Do you then know what you read?”
kwibhyo Filipo nalibhata bhwangu, namungwa nasoma echitabho cho bhulagi bhwa Isaya; namubhwila ati, ougamenya ganu ousoma?”
31 And he said, “Why, how am I able, if someone may not guide me?” He called Philip also, having come up, to sit with him.
Omuithiopia ulya naika ati,” enitula atiki ntana munu wo kutangasha?” “Namwilebheleja Filipo alinye mwigali no kwinyanja amwi nage.
32 And the passage of the Writing that he was reading was this: “He was led as a sheep to slaughter, And as a lamb before his shearer is silent, So He does not open His mouth;
Nawe oli libhala lya maandiko ganu aliga nasoma omuitiopia ulya ni linu; Atangasibhwe lwa Inyabhalega inu eigeda mwibhagilo okubhagwa na lwa kutyo inyabhalega eiba ijibhie, one atatanyishe munwa gwae.
33 In His humiliation His judgment was taken away, And His generation—who will declare? Because His life is taken from the earth.”
kulwo bhusulumbhae bwae indamu yae yasosibhweo: Niga unu katula okwelesha olwibhulo lwae? obhulame bhwae bhwasosibhweo ku nsi.
34 And the eunuch answering Philip said, “I beg you, about whom does the prophet say this? About himself, or about some other one?”
Kwibhyo omunaule ulya namubhusha Filipo, no kwaika, “enikusabhwa, ni mulagi uya unu kaikililwa emisango jae, jili ku mwene nagu jili ku munu undi?
35 And Philip having opened his mouth, and having begun from this Writing, proclaimed good news to him—Jesus.
“Filipo namba okwaika, ambhie ku musango gunu ogwa isaya okumusimulila emisango ja Yesu.
36 And as they were going on the way, they came on some water, and the eunuch said, “Behold, water; what hinders me to be immersed?”
Anu bhaliga bhali mu njila, nibhakinga ku manji omunaule naika,”lola, anu galio amanji ni chinuki chinu echiganya nisige okubhatijibhwa?”
37 [[And Philip said, “If you believe out of all the heart, it is lawful”; and he answering said, “I believe Jesus Christ to be the Son of God”; ]]
Amasango ganu, “kwibhyo omuitiopia nasubhya ati,”enikilisha ati Yesu kristo ni mwana wa Nyamuanga”, (gatalimo mu maandiko ga kala) niwo omuitiopia nalagilila ligali limelegulu.
38 and he commanded the chariot to stand still, and they both went down to the water, both Philip and the eunuch, and he immersed him;
Nibhaja mu manji, amwi Filipo no munaule, Filipo namubhatija.
39 and when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the LORD snatched up Philip, and the eunuch saw him no more, for he was going on his way rejoicing;
Mu mwanya ogwo bhejile bhasoka mu manji, mwoyo wa Latabugenyi nigumusila kula Filipo, mbe omunaule atasubhile kumulola, nagenda njila yae asandabhile.
40 and Philip was found at Azotus, and passing through, he was proclaiming good news to all the cities, until his coming to Caesarea.
Mbe nawe Filipo nabhonekanila Azoto. Alabhile mu musi gulya no kusimula emisango jo bhwana mu misi jone ndijei nakinga Kaisaria.
