< Acts 5 >

1 And a certain man, Ananias by name, with his wife Sapphira, sold a possession,
To wani mutum mai suna Ananiyas tare da matarsa Saffiratu, shi ma ya sayar da wata mallakarsa.
2 and kept back of the price—his wife also knowing—and having brought a certain part, he laid [it] at the feet of the apostles.

3 And Peter said, “Ananias, why did Satan fill your heart, for you to lie to the Holy Spirit, and to keep back of the price of the place?
Sai Bitrus ya ce, “Ananiyas, ta yaya Shaiɗan ya cika zuciyarka haka da ka yi wa Ruhu Mai Tsarki ƙarya ka kuma ajiye wa kanka sauran kuɗin da ka karɓa na filin?
4 While it remained, did it not remain yours? And having been sold, was it not in your authority? Why [is] it that you put this thing in your heart? You did not lie to men, but to God”;

8 and Peter answered her, “Tell me if for so much you sold the place”; and she said, “Yes, for so much.”

9 And Peter said to her, “How was it agreed by you to tempt the Spirit of the LORD? Behold, the feet of those who buried your husband [are] at the door, and they will carry you forth”;
Bitrus ya ce mata, “Ta yaya kuka yarda ku gwada Ruhun Ubangiji? Duba! Sawun mutanen da suka binne mijinki suna bakin ƙofa, za su kuwa ɗauke ki zuwa waje ke ma.”

12 And through the hands of the apostles came many signs and wonders among the people, and they were all with one accord in the porch of Solomon;

13 and of the rest no one was daring to join himself to them, but the people were magnifying them,

20 “Go on, and standing, speak in the temple to the people all the sayings of this life”;
Ya ce, “Ku je ku tsaya a filin haikali ku sanar wa mutane cikakken saƙon wannan sabon rai.”
21 and having heard, they entered into the temple at the dawn, and were teaching. And the chief priest having come, and those with him, they called together the Sanhedrin and all the Senate of the sons of Israel, and they sent to the prison to have them brought,

24 And as the priest, and the magistrate of the temple, and the chief priests, heard these words, they were doubting concerning them to what this would come;

Sai wani ya zo ya ce, “Ga shi! Mutanen da kuka sa a kurkuku suna tsaye a filin haikali suna koya wa mutane.”
26 then the magistrate having gone away with officers, brought them without violence, for they were fearing the people, lest they should be stoned;
