Acts 2
1 And in the day of the Pentecost being fulfilled, they were all with one accord at the same place,
പെന്തെക്കൊസ്തനാൾ വന്നപ്പോൾ എല്ലാവരും ഒരു സ്ഥലത്തു ഒന്നിച്ചു കൂടിയിരുന്നു.
2 and there came suddenly out of the sky a sound as of a violent rushing wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting,
പെട്ടെന്നു കൊടിയ കാറ്റടിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ആകാശത്തനിന്നു ഒരു മുഴക്കം ഉണ്ടായി, അവർ ഇരുന്നിരുന്ന വീടു മുഴുവനും നിറെച്ചു.
3 and there appeared to them divided tongues, as it were of fire; it also sat on each one of them,
അഗ്നിജ്വാലപോലെ പിളൎന്നിരിക്കുന്ന നാവുകൾ അവൎക്കു പ്രത്യക്ഷമായി അവരിൽ ഓരോരുത്തന്റെ മേൽ പതിഞ്ഞു.
4 and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, according as the Spirit was giving them to declare.
എല്ലാവരും പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു നിറഞ്ഞവരായി ആത്മാവു അവൎക്കു ഉച്ചരിപ്പാൻ നല്കിയതുപോലെ അന്യഭാഷകളിൽ സംസാരിച്ചു തുടങ്ങി.
5 And there were Jews dwelling in Jerusalem, devout men from every nation of those under the heaven,
അന്നു ആകാശത്തിൻ കീഴുള്ള സകല ജാതികളിൽ നിന്നും യെരൂശലേമിൽ വന്നു പാൎക്കുന്ന യെഹൂദന്മാരായ ഭക്തിയുള്ള പുരുഷന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
6 and the rumor of this having come, the multitude came together, and was confounded, because they were, each one, hearing them speaking in his proper dialect,
ഈ മുഴക്കം ഉണ്ടായപ്പോൾ പുരുഷാരം വന്നു കൂടി, ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ ഭാഷയിൽ അവർ സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു കേട്ടു അമ്പരന്നു പോയി.
7 and they were all amazed, and wondered, saying to one another, “Behold, are not all these who are speaking Galileans?
എല്ലാവരും ഭ്രമിച്ചു ആശ്ചൎയ്യപ്പെട്ടു: ഈ സംസാരിക്കുന്നവർ എല്ലാം ഗലീലക്കാർ അല്ലയോ?
8 And how do we hear, each in our proper dialect, in which we were born?
പിന്നെ നാം ഓരോരുത്തൻ ജനിച്ച നമ്മുടെ സ്വന്ത ഭാഷയിൽ അവർ സംസാരിച്ചു കേൾക്കുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ?
9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and those dwelling in Mesopotamia, in Judea also, and Cappadocia, Pontus, and Asia,
പൎത്ഥരും മേദ്യരും ഏലാമ്യരും മെസപ്പൊത്താമ്യയിലും യെഹൂദ്യയിലും കപ്പദോക്യയിലും
10 Phrygia also, and Pamphylia, Egypt, and the parts of Libya that [are] along Cyrene, and the strangers of Rome, both Jews and proselytes,
പൊന്തൊസിലും ആസ്യയിലും പ്രുഗ്യയിലും പംഫുല്യയിലും മിസ്രയീമിലും കുറേനെക്കു ചേൎന്ന ലിബ്യാപ്രദേശങ്ങളിലും പാൎക്കുന്നവരും റോമയിൽ നിന്നു വന്നു പാൎക്കുന്നവരും യെഹൂദന്മാരും യെഹൂദമതാനുസാരികളും ക്രേത്യരും അറബിക്കാരുമായ നാം
11 Cretes and Arabians, we heard them speaking the great things of God in our tongues.”
ഈ നമ്മുടെ ഭാഷകളിൽ അവർ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വൻകാൎയ്യങ്ങളെ പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നതു കേൾക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying to one another, “What would this wish to be?”
എല്ലാവരും ഭ്രമിച്ചു ചഞ്ചലിച്ചു; ഇതു എന്തായിരിക്കും എന്നു തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.
13 And others mocking said, “They are full of sweet wine”;
ഇവർ പുതു വീഞ്ഞു കുടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു മറ്റു ചിലർ പരിഹസിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.
14 and Peter having stood up with the Eleven, lifted up his voice and declared to them: “Men—Jews, and all those dwelling in Jerusalem! Let this be known to you, and listen to my sayings,
അപ്പോൾ പത്രൊസ് പതിനൊന്നുപേരോടുകൂടെ നിന്നുകൊണ്ടു ഉറക്കെ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: യെഹൂദാപുരുഷന്മാരും യെരൂശലേമിൽ പാൎക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരുമായുള്ളോരേ, ഇതു നിങ്ങൾ അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കട്ടെ; എന്റെ വാക്കു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ.
15 for these are not drunken, as you take it up, for it is the third hour of the day.
നിങ്ങൾ ഊഹിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഇവർ ലഹരി പിടിച്ചവരല്ല; പകൽ മൂന്നാംമണിനേരമേ ആയിട്ടുള്ളുവല്ലോ.
16 But this is that which has been spoken through the prophet Joel:
ഇതു യോവേൽ പ്രവാചകൻ മുഖാന്തരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതത്രേ; അതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
17 And it will be in the last days, says God, I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh, And your sons and your daughters will prophesy, And your young men will see visions, And your old men will dream dreams;
“അന്ത്യകാലത്തു ഞാൻ സകല ജഡത്തിന്മേലും എന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ പകരും; നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരും പുത്രിമാരും പ്രവചിക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ യൌവ്വനക്കാർ ദൎശനങ്ങൾ ദൎശിക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ വൃദ്ധന്മാർ സ്വപ്നങ്ങൾ കാണും.
18 And also on My menservants, and on My maidservants, In those days, I will pour out of My Spirit, And they will prophesy;
എന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെമേലും ദാസിമാരുടെമേലും കൂടെ ഞാൻ ആ നാളുകളിൽ എന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ പകരും; അവരും പ്രവചിക്കും.
19 And I will give wonders in the sky above, And signs on the earth beneath—Blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke,
ഞാൻ മീതെ ആകാശത്തിൽ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും താഴെ ഭൂമിയിൽ അടയാളങ്ങളും കാണിക്കും; രക്തവും തീയും പുകയാവിയും തന്നേ.
20 The sun will be turned to darkness, And the moon to blood, Before the coming of the Day of the LORD—the great and conspicuous;
കൎത്താവിന്റെ വലുതും പ്രസിദ്ധവുമായ നാൾ വരുംമുമ്പേ സൂൎയ്യൻ ഇരുളായും ചന്ദ്രൻ രക്തമായും മാറിപ്പോകും.
21 And it will be, everyone who, if he may have called on the Name of the LORD, will be saved.
എന്നാൽ കൎത്താവിന്റെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നവൻ ഏവനും രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടും എന്നു ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.”
22 Men, Israelites! Hear these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man approved of God among you by mighty works, and wonders, and signs, that God did through Him in the midst of you, according as also you yourselves have known,
യിസ്രായേൽ പുരുഷന്മാരേ, ഈ വചനം കേട്ടു കൊൾവിൻ. നിങ്ങൾ തന്നേ അറിയുംപോലെ ദൈവം അവനെക്കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ നടുവിൽ ചെയ്യിച്ച ശക്തികളും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും അടയാളങ്ങളും കൊണ്ടു
23 this One, by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, being given out, having been taken by lawless hands, having been crucified—you slew,
ദൈവം നിങ്ങൾക്കു കാണിച്ചു തന്ന പുരുഷനായി നസറായനായ യേശുവിനെ ദൈവം തന്റെ സ്ഥിര നിൎണ്ണയത്താലും മുന്നറിവിനാലും ഏല്പിച്ചിട്ടു, നിങ്ങൾ അവനെ അധൎമ്മികളുടെ കയ്യാൽ തറെപ്പിച്ചു കൊന്നു;
24 whom God raised up, having loosed the travails of death, because it was not possible for Him to be held by it;
ദൈവമോ മരണപാശങ്ങളെ അഴിച്ചിട്ടു അവനെ ഉയിൎത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചു. മരണം അവനെ പിടിച്ചു വെക്കുന്നതു അസാദ്ധ്യമായിരുന്നു.
25 for David says in regard to Him: I foresaw the LORD always before me—Because He is on my right hand—That I may not be moved;
“ഞാൻ കൎത്താവിനെ എപ്പോഴും എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ എന്റെ വലഭാഗത്തു ഇരിക്കയാൽ ഞാൻ കുലുങ്ങിപോകയില്ല.
26 Because of this was my heart cheered, And my tongue was glad, And yet—my flesh will also rest on hope,
അതുകൊണ്ട് എന്റെ ഹൃദയം സന്തോഷിച്ചു, എന്റെ നാവു ആനന്ദിച്ചു, എന്റെ ജഡവും പ്രത്യാശയോടെ വസിക്കും.
27 Because You will not leave my soul to Hades, Nor will You give Your Holy One to see corruption; (Hadēs g86)
നീ എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ പാതാളത്തിൽ വിടുകയില്ല; നിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധനെ ദ്രവത്വം കാണ്മാൻ സമ്മതിക്കയുമില്ല. (Hadēs g86)
28 You made known to me ways of life, You will fill me with joy with Your countenance.
നീ ജീവമാൎഗ്ഗങ്ങളെ എന്നോടു അറിയിച്ചു; നിന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ എന്നെ സന്തോഷ പൂൎണ്ണനാക്കും” എന്നു ദാവീദ് അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു പറയുന്നുവല്ലോ.
29 Men, brothers! It is permitted to speak with freedom to you concerning the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is among us to this day;
സഹോദരന്മാരായ പുരുഷന്മാരേ, ഗോത്രപിതാവായ ദാവീദിനെക്കുറിച്ച് അവൻ മരിച്ചു അടക്കപ്പെട്ടു എന്നു എനിക്കു നിങ്ങളോടു ധൈൎയ്യമായി പറയാം; അവന്റെ കല്ലറ ഇന്നുവരെ നമ്മുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഉണ്ടല്ലോ.
30 therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God swore to him with an oath, out of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, to raise up the Christ, to sit on his throne,
എന്നാൽ അവൻ പ്രവാചകൻ ആകയാൽ ദൈവം അവന്റെ കടിപ്രദേശത്തിന്റെ ഫലത്തിൽ നിന്നു ഒരുത്തനെ അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരുത്തും എന്നു തന്നോടു സത്യം ചെയ്തു ഉറപ്പിച്ചു എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടു:
31 having foreseen, he spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left to Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. (Hadēs g86)
അവനെ പാതാളത്തിൽ വിട്ടുകളഞ്ഞില്ല: അവന്റെ ജഡം ദ്രവത്വം കണ്ടതുമില്ല എന്നു ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ പുനരുത്ഥാനം മുമ്പുകൂട്ടി കണ്ടു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു. ഈ യേശുവിനെ ദൈവം ഉയിൎത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചു; (Hadēs g86)
32 God raised up this Jesus, of which we are all witnesses;
അതിന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും സാക്ഷികൾ ആകുന്നു.
33 then having been exalted at the right hand of God—also having received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father—He poured forth this which you now see and hear;
അവൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വല ഭാഗത്തേക്കു ആരോഹണം ചെയ്തു പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു എന്ന വാഗ്ദത്തം പിതാവിനോടു വാങ്ങി, നിങ്ങൾ ഈ കാണുകയും കേൾക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നത് പകൎന്നുതന്നു.
34 for David did not go up into the heavens, and he says himself: The LORD says to my Lord, Sit at My right hand,
ദാവീദ് സ്വൎഗ്ഗാരോഹണം ചെയ്തില്ലല്ലോ. എന്നാൽ അവൻ: “ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ നിന്റെ പാദപീഠം ആക്കുവോളം
35 Until I make Your enemies Your footstool;
നീ എന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു ഇരിക്ക എന്നു കൎത്താവു എന്റെ കൎത്താവിനോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു” എന്നു പറയുന്നു.
36 assuredly, therefore, let all the house of Israel know that God made Him both Lord and Christ—this Jesus whom you crucified.”
ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ക്രൂശിച്ച ഈ യേശുവിനെ തന്നേ ദൈവം കൎത്താവും ക്രിസ്തുവുമാക്കിവെച്ചു എന്നു യിസ്രായേൽ ഗൃഹം ഒക്കെയും നിശ്ചയമായി അറിഞ്ഞുകൊള്ളട്ടെ.
37 And having heard, they were pricked to the heart; they also say to Peter and to the rest of the apostles, “What will we do, men, brothers?”
ഇതു കേട്ടിട്ടു അവർ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ കുത്തുകൊണ്ടു പത്രൊസിനോടും ശേഷം അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരോടും: സഹോദരന്മാരായ പുരുഷന്മാരേ, ഞങ്ങൾ എന്തു ചെയ്യേണ്ടു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
38 And Peter said to them, “Convert, and each of you be immersed on the Name of Jesus Christ, for forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit,
പത്രൊസ് അവരോടു: നിങ്ങൾ മാനസാന്തരപ്പെട്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളുടെ മോചനത്തിന്നായി ഓരോരുത്തൻ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ സ്നാനം ഏല്പിൻ; എന്നാൽ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു എന്ന ദാനം ലഭിക്കും.
39 for the promise is to you and to your children, and to all those far off, as many as the LORD our God will call.”
വാഗ്ദത്തം നിങ്ങൾക്കും നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കൾക്കും നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ കൎത്താവു വിളിച്ചു വരുത്തുന്ന ദൂരസ്ഥന്മാരായ ഏവൎക്കും ഉള്ളതല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
40 Also with many more other words he was testifying and exhorting, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation”;
മറ്റു പല വാക്കുകളാലും അവൻ സാക്ഷ്യം പറഞ്ഞു അവരെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിച്ചു; ഈ വക്രതയുള്ള തലമുറയിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
41 then those, indeed, who gladly received his word were immersed, and there were added on that day, as it were, three thousand souls,
അവന്റെ വാക്കു കൈക്കൊണ്ടവർ സ്നാനം ഏറ്റു; അന്നു മുവായിരത്തോളം പേർ അവരോടു ചേൎന്നു.
42 and they were continuing steadfastly in the teaching of the apostles, and the fellowship, and the breaking of the bread, and the prayers.
അവർ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരുടെ ഉപദേശം കേട്ടും കൂട്ടായ്മ ആചരിച്ചും അപ്പം നുറക്കിയും പ്രാൎത്ഥന കഴിച്ചും പോന്നു.
43 And fear came on every soul, also many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles,
എല്ലാവൎക്കും ഭയമായി; അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരാൽ ഏറിയ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും അടയാളങ്ങളും നടന്നു.
44 and all those believing were at the same place, and had all things common,
വിശ്വസിച്ചവർ എല്ലാവരും ഒരുമിച്ചിരുന്നു സകലവും പൊതുവക എന്നു എണ്ണുകയും
45 and they were selling the possessions and the goods, and were parting them to all, according as anyone had need.
ജന്മഭൂമികളും വസ്തുക്കളും വിറ്റു അവനവന്നു ആവശ്യം ഉള്ളതുപോലെ എല്ലാവൎക്കും പങ്കിടുകയും,
46 Also continuing daily with one accord in the temple, also breaking bread at every house, they were partaking of food in gladness and simplicity of heart,
ഒരുമനപ്പെട്ടു ദിനംപ്രതി ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ കൂടിവരികയും വീട്ടിൽ അപ്പം നുറുക്കിക്കൊണ്ടു ഉല്ലാസവും ഹൃദയപരമാൎത്ഥതയും പൂണ്ടു ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കയും
47 praising God, and having favor with all the people, and the LORD was adding those being saved every day to the Assembly.
ദൈവത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കയും സകല ജനത്തിന്റെയും കൃപ അനുഭവിക്കയും ചെയ്തു. കൎത്താവു രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവരെ ദിനംപ്രതി സഭയോടു ചേൎത്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
