Acts 14
1 And it came to pass in Iconium, that they entered together into the synagogue of the Jews, and spoke, so that there believed a great multitude of both Jews and Greeks;
১পাছত পৌল আৰু বার্ণব্বাই ইকনিয় নগৰত সোমাই, দুয়ো একেলগে ইহুদী সকলৰ নাম-ঘৰলৈ গ’ল। তাত তেওঁলোকে এনেকৈ কথা ক’লে যে, ইহুদী আৰু গ্রীক সকলৰ বহুলোকে বিশ্বাস কৰিলে।
2 and the unbelieving Jews stirred up and made the souls of the nations evil against the brothers;
২কিন্তু অবিশ্বাসী ইহুদী সকলে অনা-ইহুদী সকলক উচটাই তেওঁলোকৰ মনবোৰ বিশ্বাসী ভাই সকলৰ অহিতে বিষময় কৰি তুলিলে।
3 [for a] long time, indeed, therefore, they abided speaking boldly in the LORD, who is testifying to the word of His grace, and granting signs and wonders to come to pass through their hands.
৩সেয়ে, পৌল আৰু বার্ণব্বাই প্রভুত থাকি, সাহসেৰে প্রচাৰ কৰি সেই নগৰতে বেছ কিছুদিন থাকিল। প্রভুৱে তেওঁলোকৰ মাধ্যমেদি অদ্ভুত লক্ষণ আৰু পৰাক্ৰম কাৰ্য কৰি, তেওঁৰ অনুগ্রহৰ বাক্যৰ সাক্ষ্য দিলে।
4 And the multitude of the city was divided, and some were with the Jews, and some with the apostles,
৪তাতে নগৰৰ লোক সকলৰ মাজত দুটা দল হ’ল; এটা দলে ইহুদী সকলৰ আৰু আনটো দলে পাঁচনি সকলৰ পক্ষ ললে।
5 and when there was a purpose both of the nations and of the Jews with their rulers to mistreat [them], and to stone them,
৫পাছত অনা-ইহুদী আৰু ইহুদী সকলে নিজৰ অধিকাৰী সকলৰ সৈতে লগ হৈ পৌল আৰু বার্ণব্বাক অপমান কৰিবলৈ আৰু শিল দলিয়াই মাৰিবলৈ ষড়যন্ত্র কৰিলে।
6 they having become aware, fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra, and Derbe, and the surrounding region,
৬কিন্তু পৌল আৰু বার্ণব্বাই এই বিষয়ে জানিবলৈ পোৱাত লুকায়নিয়া দেশৰ লুস্ত্ৰা ও দর্বী নগৰ আৰু তাৰ ওচৰ-পাজৰৰ অঞ্চললৈ পলাই গ’ল।
7 and there they were proclaiming good news.
৭তেওঁলোকে সেই ঠাইবোৰতো শুভবার্তা প্রচাৰ কৰিলে।
8 And a certain man in Lystra, impotent in the feet, was sitting, being lame from the womb of his mother—who never had walked;
৮লুস্ত্ৰা নগৰত ভৰিত বল নোহোৱা, কেতিয়াও খোজ নকঢ়া ওপজাৰে পৰা খোৰা লোক এজন বহি আছিল আৰু
9 this one was hearing Paul speaking, who, having steadfastly beheld him, and having seen that he has faith to be saved,
৯তেওঁ পৌলৰ কথাবোৰ শুনি আছিল। পৌলে তেওঁৰ ফালে একেথৰে চাই দেখিলে যে লোক জনৰ সুস্থ হবৰ বাবে বিশ্বাস আছে।
10 said with a loud voice, “Stand up on your feet upright”; and he was springing and walking,
১০পৌলে তেতিয়া বৰ মাতেৰে লোক জনক ক’লে, “তুমি তোমাৰ দুই ভৰিত ভৰ দি থিয় হোৱা।” তাতে মানুহ জন লাফ মাৰি উঠিল আৰু খোজকাঢ়ি ফুৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে।
11 and the multitudes having seen what Paul did, lifted up their voice in the speech of Lycaonia, saying, “The gods, having become like men, came down to us”;
১১পৌলে কৰা এই কার্য যেতিয়া লোক সকলে দেখা পালে, তেওঁলোকে লুকায়নিয়া ভাষাত উচ্চস্বৰে কবলৈ ধৰিলে, “মানুহৰ ৰূপ লৈ দেৱতাবোৰ আমাৰ মাজত অৱতীর্ণ হৈছে।”
12 they were also calling Barnabas Zeus, and Paul Hermes, since he was the leader in speaking.
১২তেওঁলোকে বার্ণব্বাক “জীউছ” আৰু পৌল যিহেতু প্রধান বক্তা আছিল, সেয়েহে তেওঁক “হেৰমেনাচ” বুলি কবলৈ ধৰিলে।
13 And the priest of the Zeus that is before their city, having brought oxen and garlands to the porches, wished to sacrifice with the multitudes,
১৩নগৰৰ ঠিক বাহিৰতে জীউছৰ যি মন্দিৰ আছিল, তাৰ পুৰোহিতে কেইটামান ষাঁড় গৰু আৰু ফুলৰ মালা লৈ নগৰৰ দুৱাৰমুখলৈ আহিল; পুৰোহিত আৰু মানুহবোৰে সেইবোৰৰ বলি উৎসর্গ কৰিবলৈ বিচাৰিলে।
14 and having heard, the apostles Barnabas and Paul, having torn their garments, sprung into the multitude, crying
১৪কিন্তু পাঁচনি বার্ণব্বা আৰু পৌলে যেতিয়া এই কথা শুনিলে, তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে নিজৰ পোছাক ফালি দৌৰি বাহিৰলৈ গৈ লোক সকলক উদ্দেশ্য কৰি চিঞৰি চিঞৰি ক’লে,
15 and saying, “Men, why do you do these things? And we are similar-feeling men with you, proclaiming good news to you, to turn to the living God from these vanities, who made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and all the things in them;
১৫“ৰাইজ সকল, আপোনালোকে কিয় এইবোৰ কৰিছে? আমিও আপোনালোকৰ দৰে সকলো অনুভৱ কৰিব পৰা সাধাৰণ মানুহ। আমি আপোনালোকক শুভবার্তা শুনাবলৈ আহিছোঁ। এই অসাৰ বিষয়বোৰ ত্যাগ কৰি, যি জন ঈশ্বৰে স্বৰ্গ, পৃথিৱী, সমুদ্র আৰু তাৰ মাজত থকা সকলোকে স্রজন কৰিলে, সেই জনা জীৱিত ঈশ্বৰলৈ আপোনালোক ঘূৰিব আহিব লাগে।
16 who in the past generations permitted all the nations to go on in their ways,
১৬অতীতত তেওঁ সকলো জাতিক নিজৰ ইচ্ছানুসাৰে চলিবলৈ দিছিল।
17 though, indeed, He did not leave Himself without witness, doing good—giving rains to us from Heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness”;
১৭কিন্তু তথাপি তেওঁ নিজৰ বিষয়ে প্রমাণ নিদিয়াকৈ নাথাকিল। তেওঁ সকলোৰে মঙ্গল কৰে। তেওঁ আকাশৰ পৰা বৰষুণ আৰু বিভিন্ন ঋতুত শস্য দিয়ে। তেওঁ আপোনালোকলৈ আহাৰ যোগায় আৰু আপোনালোকৰ হৃদয় আনন্দেৰে পূর্ণ কৰে।”
18 and saying these things, they scarcely restrained the multitudes from sacrificing to them.
১৮এইবোৰ কথা কৈ পৌল আৰু বার্ণব্বাই তেওঁলোকৰ উদ্দেশ্যে বলি উৎসর্গ কৰাৰ পৰা লোক সকলক কোনো মতেহে বাধা দি ৰাখিলে।
19 And there came there, from Antioch and Iconium, Jews, and they having persuaded the multitudes, and having stoned Paul, drew him outside of the city, having supposed him to be dead;
১৯ইয়াৰ পাছত আন্তিয়খিয়া আৰু ইকনিয়ৰ পৰা কেইজনমান ইহুদী লোক আহি তাত থকা লোক সকলক প্রৰোচিত কৰাত মানুহবোৰে পৌললৈ শিল দলিয়ালে আৰু পাছত তেওঁ মৰিল বুলি ভাবি তেওঁক নগৰৰ বাহিৰলৈ চোঁচৰাই লৈ গ’ল।
20 and the disciples having surrounded him, having risen he entered into the city, and on the next day he went forth with Barnabas to Derbe.
২০কিন্তু শিষ্য সকল আহি তেওঁক আগুৰি ধৰি থিয় হ’ল আৰু তাৰ পাছত তেওঁ উঠি পুনৰ নগৰলৈ গ’ল। পিছদিনা পৌল, বার্ণব্বাৰে সৈতে দর্বী নগৰলৈ গ’ল।
21 Having also proclaimed good news to that city, and having discipled many, they turned back to Lystra, and Iconium, and Antioch,
২১সেই নগৰত তেওঁলোকে শুভবার্তা প্রচাৰ কৰিলে আৰু বহু লোক যীচুৰ শিষ্য হ’ল। পুনৰ তেওঁলোক লুস্ত্ৰা, ইকনিয় আৰু আন্তিয়খিয়ালৈ উলটি গ’ল।
22 confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting to remain in the faith, and that it is required of us to enter into the Kingdom of God through many tribulations,
২২তাত তেওঁলোকে শিষ্য সকলৰ মনোবল শক্তিশালী কৰিলে আৰু বিশ্বাস অটুট ৰাখিবলৈ উৎসাহ যোগালে। তেওঁলোকে শিষ্য সকলক ক’লে যে, “অনেক দুখভোগৰ মাজেদি আমি ঈশ্বৰৰ ৰাজ্যত প্রৱেশ কৰিব লাগিব।”
23 and having appointed to them elders in every assembly by vote, having prayed with fastings, they commended them to the LORD in whom they had believed.
২৩পৌল আৰু বার্ণব্বাই প্ৰাৰ্থনা আৰু উপবাসেৰে সৈতে প্রত্যেকটো বিশ্বাসী মণ্ডলীত শিষ্য সকলৰ কাৰণে পৰিচাৰক সকলক মনোনীত কৰিলে আৰু যি জন প্রভুত তেওঁলোকে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কৰিলে, তেওঁৰ হাতত তেওঁলোকক সঁপি দিলে।
24 And having passed through Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia,
২৪ইয়াৰ পাছত তেওঁলোক পিচিদিয়া প্রদেশৰ মাজেদি পাম্ফুলিয়ালৈ আহিল।
25 and having spoken the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia,
২৫তেওঁলোকে পৰ্গাত বাক্য প্রচাৰ কৰি আত্তালিয়ালৈ গ’ল।
26 and [from] there sailed to Antioch, from where they had been given by the grace of God for the work that they fulfilled;
২৬তাৰ পৰা পৌল আৰু বার্ণব্বাই জাহাজেৰে আন্তিয়খিয়ালৈ আহিল। যি কার্য তেওঁলোকে এতিয়া সম্পূর্ণ কৰিলে, সেই কার্যৰ কাৰণে এই নগৰতে তেওঁলোকক ঈশ্বৰৰ অনুগ্রহলৈ সমর্পিত কৰা হৈছিল।
27 and having come and gathered the assembly together, they declared as many things as God did with them, and that He opened a door of faith to the nations;
২৭আন্তিয়খিয়া পোৱাৰ পাছত তেওঁলোকে মণ্ডলীৰ বিশ্বাসী সকলক একত্রিত কৰিলে। ঈশ্বৰে তেওঁলোকলৈ যি যি কৰিলে আৰু কেনেকৈ তেওঁ অনা-ইহুদী সকললৈ বিশ্বাসৰ দুৱাৰ মুকলি কৰি দিলে, সেই সকলো কথা বিৱৰি ক’লে।
28 and they abided there with the disciples [for] not a short time.
২৮তাৰ পাছত পৌল আৰু বার্ণব্বা শিষ্য সকলৰ সৈতে সেই ঠাইত ভালেমান দিনলৈ থাকিল।
