< 3 John 1 >
1 The elder to Gaius the beloved, whom I love in truth!
Umughogholo, kwa gayo umughane, unonimughani le nhu vwakyang`ani.
2 Beloved, I desire you to prosper concerning all things, and to be in health, even as your soul prospers,
Mughanike, nikukusumulia ukagule ku iisi sooni kange nha kuuti uve nhu mbiili unofu, ndavule vule inhumbula jako vule jikagulike.
3 for I rejoiced exceedingly, brothers coming and testifying of the truth in you, even as you walk in truth;
Ulwakuva nikahovwike kyoongo unsiki yenivulilue nikahovwike kyoongo unsiki yenivulilue nha vanyalukolo vanovakisile kange nakuhumia uvwolesi nhu vwakyang`ani vwako, ndavule vule ghuluta mu vwakyang`ani.
4 I have no joy greater than these things, that I may hear of my children walking in truth.
Nilivuvule ulukelo uluvaha kyoongo mu ulu, kupulika kuuti avana vango vighenda muvwakyang`ani.
5 Beloved, you act faithfully in whatever you may do toward the brothers and the one [among] strangers,
Mughanike, ghuuta mu vwitike panoghukavavombela avanyalukolo nha vahesia.
6 who testified of your love before an assembly, whom you will do well, having sent forward worthily of God,
Vano vahumisie uvwa lughano lwako pavulongolo palukong`ano. Ghuvombia vunofu pikuvaghendesia mulughendo luvanave ku siila jino jimunoghile u Nguluve.
7 because they went forth for [His] Name, receiving nothing from the nations;
Ulwakuva vwimila vwa, valyalutile nambe kutoola ikinu kimongo kuhuma muvaanhu ava mufisina.
8 we, then, ought to receive such, that we may become fellow-workers to the truth.
Pauluo, tunoghile kukuvupila avaanhu ndavule ava, ulwakutive vavomba mbombo vanofu vwimila kyang`ani.
9 I wrote to the assembly, but he who is loving to be first among them—Diotrephes—does not receive us;
Nikalilembiile ilipugha ilisio ilio, looli u Diotrofe, juno ilonela kuuti ave ghwa kwasia muvamo muvanave naikwiting`ana nusue.
10 because of this, if I may come, I will cause him to remember his works that he does, talking nonsense against us with evil words; and not content with these, neither does he himself receive the brothers, and he forbids those intending [to receive them], and he casts [them] out of the assembly.
Pauluo, nave nikwisa nikusikumbuka imbombo sa mweene sino ikusivomba, ndavule pannoijova nhi mbombo iisi umweene jujuo naikuvupila avanyalukolo. Kange ikuvaka na avange vanovinoghelua pikuvupila avanyalukolo avuo napikuvadagha vahuume mulipugha.
11 Beloved, do not be following that which is evil, but that which is good; he who is doing good, he is of God, [but] he who is doing evil has not seen God;
Mughane, nungeghaghe kino kivivi, looli ighagha kino kinofu. Umweene juno ivomba vunofu ghwe ghwa Nguluve; kange nhumweene junoivomba amavivi namwaghile u Nguluve.
12 testimony has been given to Demetrius by all, and by the truth itself, and we also—we testify, and you have known that our testimony is true.
U Demetrio avolelilue kange vooni nuvwakyang`ani vuvuo. Najusue kange tulivolesi, kange ghukagula kuuti uvwolesi vwiitu vwakyang`ani.
13 Many things I had to write, but I do not wish to write to you through ink and pen,
Nilinagho minga aghakukulembela, looli nanilonda pikukulembela nhi kalamu ija n`kala nambe nhi kalamu ija vwiino.
14 and I hope to see you soon, and we will speak mouth to mouth. Peace to you! The friends greet you. Be greeting the friends by name.
Looli nihuvila kukuvona anala pipi, kange tujovagha nune maaso na maaso. U lutengano luve palikimo nuve. Amanyani vikukuhungila. Vahungilaghe avamanyani umunhu ghweeni nhilitavua lya mweene.
