2 Timothy 4
1 I fully testify, then, before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who is about to judge [the] living and dead at His appearing and His Kingdom—
Isso é o que eu o oriento a fazer diante de Deus e de Cristo Jesus, que julgará tanto os vivos quanto os mortos, quando vier para estabelecer o seu Reino.
2 preach the word; be earnest in season, out of season; convict, rebuke, exhort, in all long-suffering and teaching,
Anuncie a palavra de Deus, seja essa tarefa fácil ou não. Diga às pessoas onde elas estão errando, alerte-as e incentive-as. Tenha muita paciência ao ensinar a palavra de Deus.
3 for there will be a season when they will not endure the sound teaching, but they will heap up teachers according to their own desires—having an itching ear,
Pois chegará o tempo em que as pessoas não se preocuparão em ouvir os ensinamentos verdadeiros. Pelo contrário, elas irão querer ouvir algo diferente e irão se rodear de mestres que lhes dirão o que elas querem ouvir.
4 and, indeed, they will turn away from hearing the truth, and they will be turned aside to the fables.
Elas irão parar de ouvir a verdade e andarão por aí, sem rumo, seguindo lendas.
5 But you—watch in all things; suffer evil; do the work of one proclaiming good news; make full assurance of your ministry,
Você precisa manter o juízo em todas as situações. Suporte todas as dificuldades, faça o trabalho de anunciar o evangelho e cumpra a sua missão.
6 for I am already being poured out, and the time of my release has arrived;
Pois está chegando o momento do meu sacrifício; a hora da minha morte se aproxima.
7 I have striven the good strife, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith;
Travei o bom combate, terminei a corrida, mantive a minha fé em Deus.
8 from now on there is laid up for me the garland of righteousness that the LORD—the Righteous Judge—will give to me in that day, and not only to me, but also to all those loving His appearing.
Agora, o prêmio da vitória está reservado para mim. O Senhor, que é o juiz que sempre faz o que é justo, irá me dar esse prêmio naquele Dia. E não apenas para mim, mas também a todos que esperam ansiosamente a sua chegada.
9 Be diligent to come to me quickly,
Por favor, venha me ver o mais depressa possível.
10 for Demas forsook me, having loved the present age, and went on to Thessalonica, Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia; (aiōn g165)
Pois Demas me abandonou, porque ele amou mais as coisas deste mundo e foi embora para a cidade de Tessalônica. Crescente foi para Galácia e Tito para a Dalmácia. (aiōn g165)
11 only Lucas is with me; having taken Mark, bring [him] with you, for he is profitable to me for ministry;
Apenas Lucas permaneceu aqui comigo. Traga Marcos com você, pois ele pode me ajudar com o meu trabalho.
12 and I sent Tychicus to Ephesus;
Eu enviei Tíquico para Éfeso.
13 coming, bring the cloak that I left in Troas with Carpus and the scrolls—especially the parchments.
Quando você vier, por favor, traga a minha capa que eu deixei na casa de Carpo, na cidade de Trôade, e os livros, especialmente os pergaminhos.
14 Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil; may the LORD repay to him according to his works,
Alexandre, o ferreiro, causou muitos problemas para mim. Que Deus o julgue pelo que ele fez.
15 of whom you also beware, for he has greatly stood against our words;
Tome cuidado com ele também, pois ele foi totalmente contra tudo que estávamos dizendo.
16 no one stood with me in my first defense, but all forsook me (may it not be reckoned to them),
Quando chegou o momento da minha primeira defesa diante das autoridades, ninguém apareceu para me dar apoio. Fui abandonado por todos. Que eles não sejam responsabilizados por isso.
17 but the LORD stood by me, and strengthened me, that the preaching might be fully assured through me, and all the nations might hear, and I was freed out of the mouth of a lion,
Mas, o Senhor ficou ao meu lado e me deu forças para que eu pudesse anunciar a mensagem por completo, para que todos os não-judeus pudessem ouvi-la. Eu fui salvo da morte!
18 and the LORD will free me from every evil work, and will save [me]—to His heavenly kingdom; to whom [is] the glory through the ages of the ages! Amen. (aiōn g165)
O Senhor irá me livrar de todo o mal. E me levará a salvo para o seu Reino Celestial. A ele seja dada a glória para todo o sempre! Amém! (aiōn g165)
19 Greet Prisca and Aquilas, and Onesiphorus’ household;

20 Erastus remained in Corinth, and I left Trophimus ailing in Miletus;
Erasto ficou na cidade de Corinto. Eu deixei Trófimo na cidade de Mileto, porque ele estava doente.
21 be diligent to come before winter. Eubulus greets you, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brothers.
Por favor, tente vir antes do inverno. Êubulo envia saudações, assim como Pudente, Lino e Cláudia, e também todos os outros irmãos e irmãs.
22 The Lord Jesus Christ [is] with your spirit. The grace [is] with you! Amen.
