2 Timothy 4
1 I fully testify, then, before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who is about to judge [the] living and dead at His appearing and His Kingdom—
Conjuro-te pois diante de Deus, e do Senhor Jesus Christo, que ha de julgar os vivos e os mortos, na sua vinda e no seu reino,
2 preach the word; be earnest in season, out of season; convict, rebuke, exhort, in all long-suffering and teaching,
Que pregues a palavra, instes a tempo e fóra de tempo, redarguas, reprehendas, exhortes, com toda a longanimidade e doutrina.
3 for there will be a season when they will not endure the sound teaching, but they will heap up teachers according to their own desires—having an itching ear,
Porque virá tempo em que não soffrerão a sã doutrina; mas, tendo comichão nos ouvidos, amontoarão para si doutores conforme as suas proprias concupiscencias;
4 and, indeed, they will turn away from hearing the truth, and they will be turned aside to the fables.
E desviarão os ouvidos da verdade, e se tornarão ás fabulas.
5 But you—watch in all things; suffer evil; do the work of one proclaiming good news; make full assurance of your ministry,
Porém tu vigia em todas as coisas, soffre as afflicções, faze a obra d'um evangelista, cumpre o teu ministerio.
6 for I am already being poured out, and the time of my release has arrived;
Porque a mim já agora me offereço por aspersão de sacrificio, e o tempo da minha partida está proximo.
7 I have striven the good strife, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith;
Combati o bom combate, acabei a carreira, guardei a fé.
8 from now on there is laid up for me the garland of righteousness that the LORD—the Righteous Judge—will give to me in that day, and not only to me, but also to all those loving His appearing.
Pelo demais, a corôa da justiça está-me guardada, a qual o Senhor, justo juiz, me dará n'aquelle dia; e não sómente a mim, mas tambem a todos os que amarem a sua vinda
9 Be diligent to come to me quickly,
Procura vir ter comigo depressa.
10 for Demas forsook me, having loved the present age, and went on to Thessalonica, Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia; (aiōn g165)
Porque Démas me desamparou, amando o presente seculo, e foi para Thessalonica, Crescente para Galacia, Tito para Dalmacia. (aiōn g165)
11 only Lucas is with me; having taken Mark, bring [him] with you, for he is profitable to me for ministry;
Só Lucas está comigo. Toma Marcos, e tral-o comtigo, porque me é muito util para o ministerio.
12 and I sent Tychicus to Ephesus;
Tambem enviei Tychico a Epheso.
13 coming, bring the cloak that I left in Troas with Carpus and the scrolls—especially the parchments.
Quando vieres traze a capa que deixei em Troade, em casa de Carpo, e os livros, principalmente os pergaminhos.
14 Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil; may the LORD repay to him according to his works,
Alexandre, o latoeiro, occasionou-me muitos males; o Senhor lhe pague segundo as suas obras.
15 of whom you also beware, for he has greatly stood against our words;
Tu guarda-te tambem d'elle; porque resistiu muito ás nossas palavras.
16 no one stood with me in my first defense, but all forsook me (may it not be reckoned to them),
Ninguem me assistiu na minha primeira defeza, antes todos me desampararam. Oxalá isto lhes não seja imputado.
17 but the LORD stood by me, and strengthened me, that the preaching might be fully assured through me, and all the nations might hear, and I was freed out of the mouth of a lion,
Mas o Senhor assistiu-me e fortaleceu-me, para que por mim fosse cumprida a prégação, e todos os gentios a ouvissem; e fiquei livre da bocca do leão.
18 and the LORD will free me from every evil work, and will save [me]—to His heavenly kingdom; to whom [is] the glory through the ages of the ages! Amen. (aiōn g165)
E o Senhor me livrará de toda a má obra, e guardar-me-ha para o seu reino celestial; a quem seja gloria para todo o sempre. Amen. (aiōn g165)
19 Greet Prisca and Aquilas, and Onesiphorus’ household;
Sauda a Prisca e Aquila, e á casa de Onesiphoro.
20 Erastus remained in Corinth, and I left Trophimus ailing in Miletus;
Erasto ficou em Corintho, e deixei Trophimo doente em Mileto.
21 be diligent to come before winter. Eubulus greets you, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brothers.
Procura vir antes do inverno. Eubulo, e Pudens, e Lino, e Claudia, e todos os irmãos te saudam.
22 The Lord Jesus Christ [is] with your spirit. The grace [is] with you! Amen.
O Senhor Jesus Christo seja com o teu espirito. A graça seja comvosco. Amen.
