2 Samuel 7
1 And it comes to pass, when the king sat in his house, and YHWH has given rest to him all around, from all his enemies,
Und [1. Chron. 17] es geschah, als der König in seinem Hause wohnte, und Jehova ihm ringsumher Ruhe geschafft hatte vor allen seinen Feinden,
2 that the king says to Nathan the prophet, “Now see, I am dwelling in a house of cedars, but the Ark of God is dwelling in the midst of the curtain.”
da sprach der König zu Nathan, dem Propheten: Siehe doch, ich wohne in einem Hause von Cedern, und die Lade Gottes wohnt unter Teppichen.
3 And Nathan says to the king, “All that [is] in your heart—go, do, for YHWH [is] with you.”
Und Nathan sprach zu dem König: Gehe hin, tue alles, was du im Herzen hast, denn Jehova ist mit dir.
4 And it comes to pass in that night, that the word of YHWH is to Nathan, saying,
Und es geschah in selbiger Nacht, da geschah das Wort Jehovas zu Nathan also:
5 “Go, and you have said to My servant, to David, Thus said YHWH: Do you build for Me a house for My dwelling in?
Gehe hin und sprich zu meinem Knechte, zu David: So spricht Jehova: Solltest du mir ein Haus bauen zu meiner Wohnung?
6 For I have not dwelt in a house even from the day of My bringing up the sons of Israel out of Egypt, even to this day, and am walking up and down in a tent and in a dwelling place.
denn ich habe nicht in einem Hause gewohnt von dem Tage an, da ich die Kinder Israel aus Ägypten heraufgeführt habe, bis auf diesen Tag; sondern ich wanderte umher in einem Zelte [Dasselbe Wort wie in 2. Mose 26,7 usw.] und in einer Wohnung. [Dasselbe Wort wie in 2. Mose 26,7]
7 During all [the time] that I have walked up and down among all the sons of Israel, have I spoken a word with one of the tribes of Israel, which I commanded to feed my people Israel, saying, Why have you not built a house of cedars for Me?
Wo immer ich wanderte unter allen Kindern Israel, habe ich wohl zu einem der Stämme [Viell. ist hier "Richter" zu lesen, wie in 1. Chron. 17,6] Israels, dem ich gebot, mein Volk Israel zu weiden, ein Wort geredet und gesagt: Warum habt ihr mir nicht ein Haus von Cedern gebaut?
8 And now, thus you say to My servant, to David, Thus said YHWH of Hosts: I have taken you from the pasture, from after the flock, to be leader over My people, over Israel;
Und nun sollst du also zu meinem Knechte David sagen: So spricht Jehova der Heerscharen: Ich habe dich von der Trift genommen, hinter dem Kleinvieh weg, daß du Fürst sein solltest über mein Volk, über Israel;
9 and I am with you wherever you have gone, and I cut off all your enemies from your presence, and have made a great name for you, as the name of the great ones who [are] in the earth,
und ich bin mit dir gewesen überall, wohin du gezogen bist, und habe alle deine Feinde vor dir ausgerottet; und ich habe dir einen großen Namen gemacht, [O. und ich werde dir machen] gleich dem Namen der Großen, die auf Erden sind.
10 and I have appointed a place for My people, for Israel, and have planted it, and it has dwelt in its place, and it is not troubled anymore, and the sons of perverseness do not add to afflict it anymore, as in the beginning,
Und ich werde einen Ort setzen für mein Volk, für Israel, und werde es pflanzen, daß es an seiner Stätte wohne und nicht mehr beunruhigt werde, und die Söhne der Ungerechtigkeit sollen es nicht mehr bedrücken, wie früher
11 even from the day that I appointed judges over My people Israel; and I have given rest to you from all your enemies, and YHWH has declared to you that YHWH makes a house for you.
und seit dem Tage, da ich Richter über mein Volk Israel bestellt habe. Und ich habe dir Ruhe geschafft vor allen deinen Feinden; und Jehova tut dir kund, daß Jehova dir ein Haus machen wird.
12 When your days are full, and you have lain with your fathers, then I have raised up your seed after you which goes out from your bowels, and have established his kingdom;
Wenn deine Tage voll sein werden, und du bei deinen Vätern liegen wirst, so werde ich deinen Samen nach dir erwecken, der aus deinem Leibe kommen soll, und werde sein Königtum befestigen.
13 he builds a house for My Name, and I have established the throne of his kingdom for all time.
Der wird meinem Namen ein Haus bauen; und ich werde den Thron seines Königtums befestigen auf ewig.
14 I am to him for a father, and he is to Me for a son; whom in his dealing perversely I have even reproved with a rod of men, and with strokes of the sons of Adam,
Ich will ihm Vater sein, und er soll mir Sohn sein, so daß, wenn er verkehrt handelt, ich ihn züchtigen werde mit einer Menschenrute und mit Schlägen der Menschenkinder;
15 and My kindness does not turn aside from him, as I turned it aside from Saul, whom I turned aside from before you,
aber meine Güte soll nicht von ihm weichen, wie ich sie von Saul weichen ließ, den ich vor dir weggetan habe.
16 and your house and your kingdom [are] steadfast before you for all time, your throne is established for all time.”
Und dein Haus und dein Königtum sollen vor dir beständig sein auf ewig, dein Thron soll fest sein auf ewig.
17 According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so spoke Nathan to David.
Nach allen diesen Worten und nach diesem ganzen Gesicht, also redete Nathan zu David.
18 And King David comes in and sits before YHWH, and says, “Who [am] I, Lord YHWH? And what [is] my house, that You have brought me here?
Da ging der König David hinein und setzte sich vor Jehova nieder und sprach: Wer bin ich, Herr, Jehova, und was ist mein Haus, daß du mich bis hierher gebracht hast?
19 And yet this [is] little in Your eyes, Lord YHWH, and You also speak concerning the house of Your servant far off; and this [is] the law of the man, Lord YHWH.
Und dies ist noch ein Geringes gewesen in deinen Augen, Herr, Jehova! und du hast auch von dem Hause deines Knechtes geredet in die Ferne hin; und ist dies die Weise des Menschen, Herr, Jehova? [O. und dies nach Menschenweise, Herr, Jehova! [vergl. 1. Chron. 17,17]]
20 And what does David add more to speak to You? And You, You have known Your servant, Lord YHWH.
Doch was soll David noch weiter zu dir reden? Du kennst ja deinen Knecht, Herr, Jehova!
21 Because of Your word, and according to Your heart, You have done all this greatness, to cause Your servant to know [it].
Um deines Wortes willen und nach deinem Herzen hast du all dieses Große getan, um es deinem Knechte kundzutun.
22 Therefore You have been great, YHWH God, for there is none like You, and there is no God except You, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
Darum bist du groß, Jehova Gott! denn niemand ist dir gleich, und kein Gott außer dir, nach allem, was wir mit unseren Ohren gehört haben.
23 And who [is] as Your people, as Israel—one nation in the earth, whom God has gone to redeem for a people for Himself, and to make for Himself a name—and to do for Yourself the greatness—even fearful things for Your land, at the presence of Your people, whom You have redeemed for Yourself out of Egypt—[among the] nations and their gods?
Und wer ist wie dein Volk, wie Israel, die einzige Nation auf Erden, welche [O. und welche Nation gibt es irgend auf Erden wie dein Volk, wie Israel, welches usw.] Gott hingegangen ist, sich zum Volke zu erlösen, und um sich einen Namen zu machen, und für sie [W. für euch] solch Großes zu tun und furchtbare Dinge für dein Land, indem du vor deinem Volke, das du dir aus Ägypten erlöst hast, Nationen und ihre Götter vertriebst! [Vergl. 1. Chron. 17,21]
24 Indeed, You establish Your people Israel for Yourself, for a people for Yourself for all time, and You, YHWH, have been to them for God.
Und du hast dir dein Volk Israel befestigt, dir zum Volke auf ewig; und du, Jehova, bist ihr Gott [Eig. ihnen zum Gott] geworden.
25 And now, YHWH God, the word which You have spoken concerning Your servant, and concerning his house, establish for all time, and do as You have spoken.
Und nun, Jehova Gott, das Wort, das du über deinen Knecht und über sein Haus geredet hast, halte aufrecht ewiglich, und tue, wie du geredet hast!
26 And Your Name is great for all time, saying, YHWH of Hosts [is] God over Israel, and the house of Your servant David is established before You,
Und dein Name sei groß [O. erhoben] auf ewig, daß man spreche: Jehova der Heerscharen ist Gott über Israel. Und das Haus deines Knechtes David sei fest vor dir.
27 for You, YHWH of Hosts, God of Israel, have uncovered the ear of Your servant, saying, I build a house for you, therefore Your servant has found his heart to pray this prayer to You.
Denn du, Jehova der Heerscharen, Gott Israels, hast dem Ohre deines Knechtes eröffnet und gesagt: Ich werde dir ein Haus bauen; darum hat dein Knecht sich ein Herz gefaßt, dieses Gebet zu dir zu beten.
28 And now, Lord YHWH, You [are] God Himself, and Your words are truth, and You speak this goodness to Your servant,
Und nun, Herr, Jehova, du bist es, der da Gott ist, [O. du bist, der da ist, [w. du bist er, oder derselbe] der Gott] und deine Worte sind Wahrheit, und du hast dieses Gute zu deinem Knechte geredet.
29 and now, begin and bless the house of Your servant, to be before You for all time, for You, Lord YHWH, have spoken, and by Your blessing the house of Your servant is blessed for all time.”
So laß es dir nun gefallen und segne das Haus deines Knechtes, daß es ewiglich vor dir sei; denn du, Herr, Jehova, hast geredet, und so werde mit deinem Segen das Haus deines Knechtes gesegnet ewiglich!
