< 2 Peter 1 >
1 Simeon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who obtained an equally precious faith with us in the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:
Hiche lekhathot hi Yeshua Christa soh le solchah, Simon Peter a kon ahi. Keiman tahsan manlu tah kanei khompi ho henga kahin jih ahi. Hiche tahsan hi thutandih le pha nahin peuva eihuhhing uva le IPathenu Yeshua Christa jal jeh ahi.
2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the acknowledgment of God and of Jesus our Lord!
Nanghon Pathen le IPakaiyu Yeshua nahet nau lama nakhantouna dingun Pathen in nangho lungset le cham-lungmon napeh be jingu hen.
3 As His divine power has given to us all things pertaining to life and piety, through the acknowledgment of Him who called us through glory and virtue,
Aman Pathena kona thahatna anei jal'in, Pathen ngaisahna hinkho iman theina dinguvin Aman ingaichat jouseu eipetauve. Ama dinga eikoupau hin Ama hetna ineiyuva kona Aloupina kidangtah le ahoipen hina jal'a eihon hicheho jouse hi ikisanu ahi.
4 through which the most great and precious promises have been given to us, that through these you may become partakers of a divine nature, having escaped from the corruption [and] lust in the world.
Chule aloupina le ahoipen hina jal'in Aman thutep lentah le manlutah eipetauve. Hiche athutep ho hi Pathen ahina a chan neikhompina le mihem lung ngaichat vannoi kisuhbohna a kona onthol theina ahi.
5 And [for] this same [reason] also, having brought in all diligence, supplement your faith with virtue, and with virtue—knowledge,
Hicheho jouse jal hin, Pathen thutep ho channa dingin kihabol un, natahsan nau chu umchanhoi pendoh nan neiyun, chule umchanhoi penna chun hetna,
6 and with knowledge—self-control, and with self-control—endurance, and with endurance—piety,
chule hetna chun chang kitim themna, chule chang kitim themna chun thohhatna chule thohhatna chun Pathen ngaisahna,
7 and with piety—brotherly kindness, and with brotherly kindness—love;
chule Pathen ngaisahna chun sopi hina a kigelkhoh tona a amichang cheh ngailutna sodoh hen.
8 for these things being in you and abounding, make [you] neither inert nor unfruitful in regard to the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Hitia nakhan toube cheh nauva chu, IPakaiyu Yeshua Christa hetna a chu gasoa chule phatchomna nanei dingu ahi.
9 for he with whom these things are not present is blind, dim-sighted, having become forgetful of the cleansing of his old sins;
Hinlah hichea khantouna neilou ho chun chomcha ding bou amuu ahilouleh mitchouva, amaho achonsetnau masaa kona chu kisilngima ahiu asuhmil jiu ahitai.
10 therefore, rather, brothers, be diligent to make steadfast your calling and [divine] selection, for doing these things you may never stumble;
Hitichun sopi deitahte, nanghon Pathen in nakouvu adeilhenna a chu najaovu ahi photchennan, kiseh in tonggimun. Hiche hohi bolleu chun, nangho nalhah manglou hel diu ahi.
11 in this way the entrance into the continuous kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be richly supplemented to you. (aiōnios )
Chutengleh Pathen in IPakaiyu le Huhhingpu Yeshua Christa tonsot Lenggama luttheina dia phalna namu dingu ahitai. (aiōnios )
12 Therefore, I will always be ready to remind you about these things, although you have known [them] and have been established in the present truth,
Hiche jeh'a chu, hiche ho thudol hi keiman avel a kageldoh sahkit jing ding nahiuve-nangho hichu nahetsau le hiche thutah nakihil sauva chu nadin det u ahitai.
13 and I think right, so long as I am in this tent, to stir you up in reminding [you],
Chule hichebou hi adih chu ahin, keiman kahinlai sunga kavel geldoh sah jing ding nahiuve.
14 having known that the laying aside of my tent is soon, even as our Lord Jesus Christ also showed to me.
Ajeh chu, IPakaiyu Yeshua Christa chun hiche leiset hinkho hi kadalhah vahding ahitai ti eiseipeh ahitai.
15 And I will also be diligent [to ensure] that you always have a remembrance to make of these things after my departure.
Hitia hi keima kache nung jong leh hiche hohi nana geldoh jingna dinguva keima kiseh tah a pang jing ding kahi.
16 For having not followed out skillfully devised fables, we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but having become eyewitnesses of His majesty—
Ajeh chu keihon IPakaiyu Yeshua Christa thaneitah a ahung thudol nangho kaseipeh u chun semthu thusim seiya kanahi pouve. Keihon aloupina gunchena bulhingset kamit tah uva kana mu u chun,
17 for having received honor and glory from God the Father, such a voice being borne to Him by the Excellent Glory: “This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I delighted”;
Pa Pathena kona jana le loupina Aman anamu ahitai. Pathen loupi thaneinaa aw chun ajah a, “Hiche hi keiman kangailut tah, kipana sangtah eipea ka Chapa ahi,” ati.
18 and we heard this voice borne out of Heaven, being with Him at the holy mountain.
Keihotah in Amatoh moltheng chunga kaumpet'un vana kon in hiche aw chu kajauvin ahi.
19 And we have a more firm prophetic word, to which we do well giving heed, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until day may dawn, and [the] morning star may arise in your hearts;
Hiche hetchetna neijal hin, keihon themgao ho thupoh kaseiphongu hi kakihason chehna theiyu aumin ahi. Amahon ajih u thudol hi phatah a vetsuina naneiyu angaiye, ajeh chu athuseiyu hi muthimlah a meivah kidevah tobanga, kho ahungvah lhah kahsea, chule Christa Jing Valpa chu nalung sunguva kona ahung vahdoh kahsea ding ahi.
20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Writing comes of private exposition,
Hicheho jouse chunga hin, Pathen Lekhabua themgao thusei dohho hi themgao ama hetna lungthima hungpeng ahipoi, ti nahetdoh'u ngai ahi.
21 for prophecy never came by [the] will of man, but men spoke from God, being brought by the Holy Spirit.
Ahilouleh mihem lung gela kona jong ahipoi, chuche themgao ho chu Lhagao Thengin athunun uva, chule amahon Pathena kona aseidoh u ahi.
